For those of you who don't know, I planning on starting an internet comic/manga of my own soon called "Anykey", (though first I need to graduate high school before I can do anything else.)
So, I'm starting this topic so I can show off my art and hopefully some of the comics I've managed to create in the little time I have between school and homework. It's been my life's dream to become as popular as Fred has with Megatokyo and to publish my own manga. I hope you'll help to support my dream.
P.S. Please give me some feedback on my drawings and humor. I need opinions from people other than my friends.

To start with, a tribute to Fred and his obsession with sad girls in the snow. Thank you for the inspiration Fred! wink

I don't have all my character personality sheets+pics. done yet, so here's just a little something I made I while ago. (Yes, it does appear in my comic, and yes, I do plan on making a plushie.)

I too, wanna be like fred. For a matter of fact, I had a ryuluna.com. I had to close it for I ran out of money.
I'd say, develop your own, unique style. They look a lot like Fred's Styles. And I know, everyone wants to be like Fred, but Fred's also been there and done that.
I think they look good. biggrin The ninja teddy, DO WANT! The shading and portions seem to match up. And your expressions seem to come through clearly!
Keep it up biggrin

Thank you.
Concerning the style I use, I've been there and done that, looking for a style that best suited me. I've tried Classic Anime, I've tried cartooning, I've trying all sorts of higher detail styles as well, but none of them stuck. When I decided to try my hand at Fred's style however I suddenly got hooked. I try my best not to be completely like him (Example: My hair styles are slightly different, I draw my backrounds differently, Etc.). Recently I've been trying to add more Simple Cartooning into my style, but it's still a working progress.
I've been trying to make character sheets of my characters for you guys, but I failed horribly (in other words, I couldn't draw fast enough). Here are some things I DID complete though. (okay, mostly completed)
...
(crap)
Sorry, the stuff I DID complete isn't uploading to Photobucket, I shall try again later.

good art better then anything i could sketch i may have a talent for sketching but im not patient enough (my granddads an artist)
The idea of a "ninja teddybear being an active part of the comic doing things but you don't SEE him doing things
(ie:random shurikin killing an assassin about to attack the main character. The assassin then falls off a tree in to a river. Protagonist finds the bear. Completely oblivious to what happened, asks him what hes doing here and puts him some ware/ goes home.) Mamoru : Shadow Protector refrence
