Closing his eyes against the harsh brightness, Tasnim inhaled deeply, loving the way that the bitingly cold air seemed to crystallize in his lungs, before the warmth of his body caused it to dissipate, leaving him feeling invigorated, if somewhat chilled.
He stood at the top of a small hill, where he could see for quite some distance in all directions, view uninterrupted by the cover of trees, or really anything but more snow.
He stood out dramatically against the pure white of the snow, all the more so because the plants that clung to him were still green, proving to be quite immune to the changing of the seasons. Shaking his head, he opened his eyes once again, blinking when the light from the sun above reflected off the snow, making his eyes hurt from the sheer brightness of it. Squinting slightly, he made his way down the gentle slope, slowly making his way towards a stream he knew of that was nearby--perhaps it would not be frozen over, and he could get a drink...

Bella closes her eyes as the cold harsh wind blows around her and the leafless trees, opening her eyes she looks at the hole in the ice taking herself in, she noticed that she looked cold and she almost blended into the snow banks around the stream, the only differences were the brightly colored flower patterns in her fur and the stems running up her legs.
Letting her eyes leave the ice, she looks around, thinking of what to do next, she was lonely and longing for someone to talk to, most of the others she knew had familes, her heart hurt, because of the pain she had been though these months, and the loneness that was there.
Truning to leave the stream, she starts to head the way she came, she loved the snow, but winter had always bought the loneness, since in the spring and summer she had her garden to take care of so it didn't bother her, walking though the trees, she stops and looks around taking it the brightness of the landscape.

As he made his way down the narrow path, mindful to not stray too far off've it (the snow off the path was deep, and hard to navigate, not packed down by the feet of all who had already come this way, likely seeking the same stream as he).
Squinting, he stopped in his tracks, not quite sure if he was seeing things, or if that was a soquili, approaching from the opposite direction. As she drew a little closer, he nodded--it was definitely another soquili, and unless he were mistaken, a mare as well.
Stepping forward again, he waited to speak until they were within easy hearing distance, blowing a stubborn piece of his forelock out of his eyes before opening his mouth.
"Afternoon," he finally said, dipping his head politely, the action, like most everything about him, unhurried.

Seeing the stallion she smiles sweetly, watching him closely as she stops to get a better veiw of him, he looked friendly and she hoped that could maybe make a new friend, she had met other winged soquili but he was diffent from the others, his wings were more like a bat, he also had what looked like wings on his head and tree branches on him, he was very intrestinging to look at, seeing the apples and snakes about him was a treat to the eyes and made her wonder, if they where real on not.
Hearing him speak she smiles again and bows her head towards him " Hello there sir, it is sure a nice day." she smiles again and watches him closely

Matching her smile with a small one of his own, he inclined his head in agreement. "A little on the cold side, but it is regardless," he replied. The stark white of the snow, extending in all directions as far as the eye could see, gave the appearance of a fresh start, coating even the most familiar of terrain in an icy blanket.
He couldn't remember the last time he'd seen snow--had the garden even had snow? Either way, he was revelling in the fresh, cleanness of it.
"Is the stream frozen over, do you know?" he asked a moment later, not at all uncomfortable with the way she eyed the fruit (and wildlife) that made their homes upon his back, waiting to see if she'd ask about it, or refrain.

She nods her agreement " I can't remember the last time it has snowed like this, it looks so new, with all this white." She looks around at all the white watching the sunrays shine off it
" it is a little bit, there is a hole in the ice where everyone needing a drink can find one, would you mind if I walked back down with you?" She watched his body then looks at his face waiting to see what he would say, she knew that it was kind of wired, that she would ask that. Blushing she looks away from him trying to keep him from noticing.
After a little bit she looks at him again trying to decide if she would ask him about the fruit (and wildlife). She smiles again at him " you are very intresting looking, the fruit and wildlife on your back are quite unque, how did you come to be like this? If you don't mind me asking?"

Agreeing, he blinked again, wishing that perhaps it were just a -little- less bright, so that he could stare at it more directly without hurting his eyes.
Relieved to hear that, Tasnim blinked when she seemed so awkward to ask if she could go with him--it hardly troubled him, and he shook his head easily at her. "Not at all," he responded, amused. He was never bothered by an offer at conversation, after all.
At her next question, he stopped a moment, considering his answer. "Some of it's been with me always, like the apples--but the rest grew when I slumbered..." He left it at that, for now--he wouldn't be averse to going into more detail, but would not do so without being prompted.
"Are you from around here?" he asked, politely curious.

Bella smiles at him, he was nice most others would like she was wired to make a request like that, she turns around and starts to head back the down the slope slowly, because she like to walk beside them to talk it made it feel more friendly like that.
Listening to him answer, she looks him over again trying to decide if she should ask more deatails about it " how long did you slumber?"
" Yes, I grew up around here, my home is a beautful garden on the other side of meadow, it is a lovly place to live, with lots of smaller animals and flowers, expect of course during this time of year." She looks around at the snow covered ground around them

Shrugging easily, Tasnim kept pace with her. "I'm not sure. A long time, but one for which I have no measure." He had no less vague answer to give her-he'd fallen into a deep sleep, and while he could tell that a great deal of time had passed, he had no way of being able to quantify the time.
"Do you live alone then, or have a herd who you keep company with?" Looking around, he couldn't help but think to himself that the surroundings were beautiful even at this time of year--the harsh glare off the pure white snow hurt the eyes, but continued to draw his gaze.

Staring at him, she thinks about the measure of no time, like he said, so he wouldn't any idea how long he been asleep, would it be a shock to him to wake up, and see all the wired things around him, or new things like plants and animals, would he be lonely, did he have any family or friends to leave behide him? She wanted to ask but, it was none of her busness to ask about it.
She shrugs a little then smiles " Yes, I have no herd to speak of." She looks ahead and sees the stream, her eyes spot a couple of birds infront of the hole, jumping around the hole trying to figure out how to get a drink without falling in.
