your parents say you have an additude, and you're being completely positive?
my mom bought this charm braclet for bffl, and i was all 'OMIGAWD thanks mommie!' and 'its so pretty' and 'WOOOWW'
'i bought something for her too, we can send both of them!'
and then she was all
'be appreciative, stop with the additde, i can give this to someone else, additude has alot to do, stop with the additude'
WHAT.THE.HELL.
does ANY of THAT sound 'additude' to you?
sure, when she said 'be appreciative', that pissed me off and i said 'i AM', but other than that.
its like she SET ME UP for her to do that.

Maybe just the inflection of your voice sounded insincere.
Just give some leeway. Your parents are doing the best that they can.
