The Stone Family: Somewhere Not in KansasSiona stopped struggling with her restraints when she realized that she wasn't able to make any probability shields around her. Bella's voice as even different... she knew then that their mutant powers were being restricted... but that was okay. Siona knew not to rely on hers at times. There would be an opportunity for escape.
"Not too long, Bell," Siona looked over to Colton who was awake and looking very grumpy. He muttered that he was fine and then whined, "Great, now I'm going to be part of your emo club."
"Darlin' this ain't the time for your selfish little rants," Siona glared at him and then looked back at their half sister, "These guys have been scopin' us out for awhile, I think. Back after the capture the flag event, three of those elves were at the restaurant playin' nice. Ah paled around with the one called Lance who I was just yellin' at. I saw him again outside the school grounds after Genosha... he kinda warned me somethin' bad was gonna happen, but with everything goin' on I kinda forgot. Seemed like a bunch of kids tryin' to pull a prank."
"Ah don't think we're going to get the drug this time, though," Siona looked around at the room they were in. It was more like a holding room than anything else, "Whenever their victims woke up, they would have a whole team of folks around ready to pop you with the drug so you had no chance to fight. Sugah Man told me that they had to keep my power active to record how the thing would work..."
Foot steps could be heard down the hallway and the door bust open. A very blue lady was standing before them. She looked incredibly dangerous, but that of course was only aided by the fact that she was holding a very big gun very close to Siona's forehead.
"So you kiddies have two options. One: You come with me quietly. Two: I shoot you in he head. It is of no consequence to me. I already got my payday by getting you here," She motioned for her team to come in which again consisted of Avalance, Pyro, Toad, and Blob. Siona knew three of the four. She glared at Lance.
"Oh yes, I know you've met before," Mystique taunted, "My boys here have been scoping you all out for awhile. Following you to the mall, on vacation... because we needed to do the job nobody else could. But, then again, you've met me before. Mystique morphed between several forms including an aid worker on Genosha, a lab assistant in Sugar Man's lab, and their waitress from Las Vegas."
"What the hell do you want us for?" Colton yelled at her, "And leave my sister alone!"
Blob went to back hand the boy but Mystique called him off, "If you take option one, you'll find out soon enough. If you take option two, i won't matter much."
Siona looked at the gun pointed at her and sighed, "Well, ah suppose it can't get much worse than being converted into an evil super soldier... option one it is."
Lance unlocked their hand cuffs, but of course, they left the collars on the kids. Siona looked at Bella with a 'what choice do we have' expression on her face. At this point, she wanted the answers. Soon they were all walking down a brightly lit, metallic sounding corridor. There were no windows. She couldn't tell if she was under ground or not. She just knew she was unhappy with this situation and really wanted some answers and then the X-Men to do some butt kicking.
They were led down to the end of the corridor through a set of double doors. Mystique had to palm in her clearance along with her team. They were then admitted. Siona looked at the doors which seemed to be heavy and hard to penetrate.
Gideon could tear through them,, she thought.
"So why so secret around here?" Siona broke the silence, "Why doesn't your boss show is face to us personally? Ah mean, he was rude enough to break up our Christmas part and all. He ugly? Afraid of us laughing? Ah mean we are annoying teenagers after all."
"Does your mouth ever stop?" Mystique pushed her through a doorway and Lance grabbed her arm again to lead the way. He whispered in her ear, "Keep your mouth shut. These people don't play."
"Yea, thanks for the concern my prince charming. You're certainly here to deliver me from evil... feedin' me right to it," She stopped talking when she heard Mystique load her gun. Siona scowled again as they passed through another series of double doors into what looked to be a huge circular laboratory. They were on the lower level and above them was an opening in the ceiling that let giant computer screens go up between two levels. What was on the screens made her wince. They were videos of people being turned into super soldiers. Each had a date so she could see that some were current and some where older.
Her teeth started grinding when she saw the one of her own being watched by a cloaked man sitting in a chair. Fighting against Lance's grip, she didn't need to yell because Colton did, "You people are sick. You aren't going to change any of us into that... and you aren't going to touch my sisters without having to fight me...."
Mystique almost laughed, "Calm down, pup."
"
We couldn't change you if we wanted to," the cloaked person said sitting in the chair. His voice shot confusion right through Siona's brain. She knew that voice. Simultaneously,
Siona, Bella and Colton all questioned in disbelief and in confusion, "Dad?!"
Standing up from the chair, he said uncovered his face. It was sort of the same face Siona had grown up looking at. The guy she, Bella and Colton all shared features with. He walked towards them looking particularly arrogant and proud of himself, "
I'm so glad you all finally had a chance to meet... maybe some day you'll be able to meet your other siblings."
"Our what?" Siona blurted out completely dumbfounded. He tried to put a hand on Siona's head like he had when she was a child and she pulled away. He then put two hands on Bella's shoulders, "
Oh my beautiful Isabella, I wish I didn't have to stage my death... but my master was requiring me to come back here to work. I had to leave you all for good."
Colton spit on their father rather than letting the man touch him. Of course, Mr. Stone then slapped his own son. The force was rather alarming. So slight telepathy wasn't his only power, he had some strength to him as well. And obviously, he was a scientist... not a gambler.
"Will you for once in your pathetic life tell us the truth about what is going on..." Siona snarled at him feeling no love lost anymore. The man stepped back and held his arms out looking absolutely deluded, "
Welcome, my children, to my laboratory... everything here is my creation. I am Gerard Stone, the lead scientist for the most intelligent man this civilization has ever seen, Mr. Sinister."
"Hoo boy, he's that brilliant and that's the name he came up with?" Siona scoffed. Bella looked like she wanted to die. There really was no shutting Siona up. Well, until Mystique put her gun to her back to remind her she was still there.
"
Respect your elders, child. I thought you better manners than that. I have been a protoge of Mr. Sinister for 30 years... some 20 years ago, we developed a way to strengthen my DNA to be a perfect carrier for specific mutant sequences. I found the perfect wives to be compatible with my DNA to held procreate and make you all... children who can be the most perfect mutant creatures the world has ever seen.
You three so far are the only three of my children who have displayed mutant abilities so I brought you here. No worries, like I said, we can't turn you into super soldiers anymore. Apparently, Isabella, I miscalculated your mother. She gave you some form of genetic sequence that makes you immune to what we want to do.... Your Dr. McCoy figured it out and gave Colton the same transfusion just in case. Oh, and I know because I don't think you were aware, Bella, than I am slightly telepathic. I read it off your brother's mind while he was unconscious."
Good, that's still the only time he was ever able to read people before... he never actually used his telepathy while we were gambling. He used my luck, Siona reminded herself.

So you three get two options right now. You either come work for Mr. Sinister willingly or we test out my new cloning methods to create malleable versions of you that will do our work. We are trying to prefect the mutant species here.... make our species great.... no longer make us the hunted ones. So what will it be?"
