[18:23] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih'Matata yawned slightly as he wandered away from his mother's den once more. But this time she was awake and gave him premission to head out for a bit. He happily trotted away from the den, his tail flicking around behind him. He was so happy, he loved the freedom when he got to go out and play, and of course the main thing that was mainly on his mind that he might meet some one new. He perched up on a log and looked around a large grin on his face, then something caught his eyes. Was that bush moving? He wasn't that sure. He bravely puffed out his chest then crouched down slightly before flinging himself in the bushes. "Got you!"
[18:31] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Sadiki crouched in the bushes, aware from the scary monster that she&d seen earlier. She&d run away in fear and the peircing laughter it produced, which had scared the flyers and the hoppers from ther nexts. Her body shook and she peeked out into the open. She only saw a flash over color before a great weight landed on her. She let out a scream and kicked and scrambled, trying to get away from whatever it was. "GO AWAY!" She screamed again. The scary monster had gotten her! "Momma!!!" She cried. Her momma wasn&t there, though, ans so when she finally rolled away and saw what had gotten her, she blinked. "Hey... You&re not the monster."
[18:37] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih was slightly caught off gaurd at the fact that when he landed he felt a large body mass under him. Then with the screaming he jumped himself looking around he had no clue what was going on, or the fact that he landed on another lion. When he finnally turned around to look at her he blinked a few times before right away nodding to her. "I'm not a monster." He had to make sure that was clear before he went anyfurther. "I'm sooo sorry about landing on you!" He right away bowed to her then flicked his tail behind him looking around. "I didn't know that you were there and I thought that you were something to play with. SoSo sorry!"
[18:49] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: She blinked a few more times. "But the monster was here a while ago." She looked around, shaking from the adrenaline coursing through her body. When she blinked and looked at him she took a few steps back. She remembered. The predators had killed the herd! He was the predator. A predator. Her ears fell back against the base of her skull and she frowned. "You won&t hurt me, right?"
[18:51] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih made a small face this female looked just as scared as that one Wild dog, Talbot, he met not that long ago. In the back of his mind he didn't know why he couldn't meet anyone like him, bold and brave, but at the same time he wanted to play, he didn't run into other liones that offten. "I'm not gonna hurt you and I'm not a monster." He cocked his head to the side the moved just a little closer to him his ears back a little bit to, he folded his ears against his skull, trying to make himself look not as threatening. He dind't like seeing other's scared. "My name is Nazih, who are you?"
[18:57] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: "Oh. Okay." She smiled at him, he ears lifting just slightly and her tail flicking once. She wasn&t sure why, but she believed him. He seemed like a kind being; he wouldn&t harm her, and she believed it. Maybe it was just they way her presented himself. "I&m Sadiki Meskhenet." She tilted her head. "Is this where you live?"
[19:01] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih relaxed some as she did. He was glad to see that, his charm working with him again, it normally did. He stood up some, still in a non threating postion. A small smile growing on his maw."Its nice to meet you Sadiki, if you don't mind me calling you that." He flicked his 'mane' out of his eyes then grinned a little more. "I don't live here, just alittle far off, what about you?"
[19:04] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: "Sadiki is fine. That&s what the herd called me. She almost, ALMOST, flinched at the word, but she forced herself to be strong. Mother would have been proud. She listened to his question and glanced around. Should she tell the truth? "I.. uhm. I don&t have a home." She frowned, her ears falling again, but to the sides her her head instead. Her head drooped about and inch. "My herd was attacked and I lost them."
[19:12] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih grinned when she said that he could call her that. He shifte on his feet some before smiling softly. He wasn't that sure about why she kept saying herd, thats what meals were in right? He shrugged it off before frowning, one of those confurting ones. "I'm very sorry to hear that. I didn't have a home for a while. But then my 'mom' found me." He then sighed through his nose. "Maybe you'll find a home soon too."
[19:25] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: She shook her head. "I don&t think I want a new home. I miss my mom. And the rest of the herd. The lions killed a lot of them." she shuddered. "I want them back." She tried to hide the slight sob that raked her body but it was hard. A tear slid down her cheek but she flicked it away quickly.
[19:28] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih made a small face befofe moving closer to her and nuzzling her slightly. He hated seeing others cry, he didn't like things like that at all. He wanted to be happy and others to be happy. He spent a lot of his younger years griving and now he just wanted to be happy, but in the back of his mind he missed his mother and father. "You're a lion too Sadiki, its what we do, its food. If we don't then there would be so many others that are dead." His ears lowered once more. He was trying his hardest to pretty much make this stranger happy, he wasn't to sure why, he felt like it was something he had to do.
[19:30] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: "They killed my herd! couldn&t they eat the rabbits? Or the birds? They killed more gazelle than nessecary!" She frown, shrugging away from the nuzzle slightly before just resting her head on his shoulder; just because it was the first thing it landed on. "You&re little," she sniffed, smiling slightly. She hadn&t noticed before. He must&ve been a bit younger than her.

The part of the herd I ran with seemed to have gotten away. There were only.. Five other than me though, I believe. We were a large herd though, and it was very much a massacre." She shuddered slightly. "I&m not the same as the predators." She shook her head more vigourously this time. "I give thanks for the rabbits and small creatures I kill, and hail their courage. I take what I need and nothing more. Just as the wise one taught me."
[11:38] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih looked down, he wasn't to sure about who this female worked. Not at all. He ruffled his brow for a moment. "My... adoptive mother normall just hunts down a zebra nothing that we both can't finish." He sighed softly before flicking the hair out of his eyes then turned back toward Sadiki. He school his head again before looking up. "So you were raised by antalopes?" That could be the awnser to many questions that he could ask.
[11:42] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: She flicked her tail looking down in toward the ground for a moment. "I&m sorry. I&m just... I&m scared. I miss my family, and I&m all alone and angry at the predators who killed them." Her body heaved with a heavy sigh and she nodded. "Yes. Antelopes." This was one of the only species names she actually knew, so it was easy for her to understand. She knew she was a lion, as was this Nazih and the lions who&d hunted her family, and she knew that her mother and family had been Antelopes. Beyond that she knew rabbits and nothing more. She&d learn soon enough though.
[11:47] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih was still slightly surprised, she was confused, but interesting at the same time, very interesting. "Its okay, don't be sorry. You just live differently, there i s nothing wrong with that." He sighed again, the idea of her 'herd' getting killed reminded him of his pride, getting slaughtered for their color. "Thats very interesting... I've been on my own since my pride was killed, but now I got my adoptive mom who is taking care of me." He shrugged then looked down at his small paws. He felt bad for this female, she seemed so confused, or in his sigh she did.
12:08] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Her ears perked forward, towards him and her eyes widened slightly. "Your family was killed too?" They were alike then! Her tail swayed with a little more vigor as she watched him. Perhaps he could help her find her mother. This.. adoptive mom sounded kind though, almost like the one she was searching for. She&d have to remember to ask to meet her.
[12:14] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih looked down then sighed slightly. "Yeah, my family was killed... I was born into a odd pride, most of them were shades of grays, whites and blacks. However the pride not that far from us has lions full of colors, they didn't like the grays and black and white colors so they came and killed everyone in my pride." He choked on the last of his words as a vision of his mother being killed right in front of him was there again. That haunting image that followed him every where, he thought it was gone for a while but he was wrong. It took him a moment before looking back up and laughing nervously. "I'm sorry." He cleared his throat before sighing.
[12:18] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: The swaying slowed and she frowned. How sad. That seemed much worse than getting killed as prey. She looked down at her own dark coat and shuddered. She wouldn&t want that sort of fate. "Oh..." She said simply, tilting her head sympathetically. "It&s fine, I understand." She still had problems sometimes, remember the gore she&d walked through in attempt to find her mother. It was horrible. In desperate attempt to change the subject she glanced around and choked out, "You&re happy now though. That&s good."
[12:23] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih's attetion snapped back up when she was talking. There was some one who under stood what he was going through, that made him feel a little better. He then thought for a moment. Was he happy? Most of the time he was except for the thoughts of his old family that he mainly kept hidden from so many other's he didn't want them to see him hurt. "Yeah, I'm a lot better, of course I think of my parents but how do you no do that.
[12:26] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Sadiki shuffled her feet slightly, looking at the ground again. "I... I never knew my real parents." Her frown seemed as if it was going to permenently embed itself in her fur. "I only remember growing up with the herd. Mother said she never saw them either." She&d often contemplated if she just wasn&t worthy and had been left behind, but never allowed herself to speak such nonsense, because her mother would immediately tell her to stop being ridiculous.
[12:38] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih took a deep breath in as he thought about his family one thing that did come to his mind was that the idea of his father still possible being alive. That idea was always there in the back of his mind, his father and brother might stil be alive but that wasn't something he was sure of, no he didn't know if that was true at all. I t was something he liked to think was true but he wasn't that sure. He then shrugged softly. "Who knows, it seems like we were both ment to be on our own durning parts of our lives." He coughted after that, the idea of it bothered him. Oh the gods why did they have to do this. He cleared his throat and then smiled softly. "Maybe we were supposed to meet." He laughed slightly before flicking the hair out of his eyes and shifting on his paws. "So..." He murmured quietly as if it was his was of clearing his thoughts.
[12:41] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: She grinned, she liked where this had gone. "Yeah, I think we were suppose to meet." She nodded and sat back on her haunches, tail curling around her paws. "So..." She echoed smiling. "What do you do for fun around here?" Even in her long journey, she knew it was healthy to have some fun every once in while, and Nazih looked like he needed some health in his life.
[12:46] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih chuckled slightly as Sadiki agreed with him. There was some good things that went on in his life apparently, well it was doing better when it comes what had been going on now. He dismissed some ideas that were running through his head before turning toward her again with a smile. "Well some times I play tag, go swimming that kind of stuff, but I'm the only cub with my adoptive mother, I don't have many others to play with." He laughed nervously, he really didn't but he didn't mind, Rana was a pretty good play mate too.
[12:52] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: "Swimming sounds fun!" Sadiki hadn&t been swimming in a while. "Wanna go for a swim now? The water should be warming up now." As if to check her hypothosis she looked towards the sun, which was round and bold in the blue sky. Dark storm clouds rolled slowly to the easy, but they&d have some time before they&d have to take shelter. "Yupp. Sun's big and warm right now. Should be perfect."*

[18:34] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih smiled widely as they approched the water. He flashed a small look at her. He lost but he didnt' care it felt good to run and to run with... a friend. He leaned over the water and lapped some up before turning toward her licking the water that was dripping down from off of his chin. "That was fun!" He grinned before flicking his hair out of his eyes then looking at her. "That was fun! You ready to swim?"
[18:42] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Grinning she lapped up some water, loving the cool liquid soothing her throat. She flicked an ear and glanced at Nazih, laughing softly. "Yeah!" She took a few steps backward, dipping into a crouch. Her tail flicked side to side a few times and then sprung. She soared through the air easily and landed with a splash in the water
[19:03] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih watched as she flung herself into the water. It made him chuckle and when he got splashed his chuckle turned into a laugh. He flashed a grin at her before backing up and running toward the water and landing in the water, he laughed harder as he did, he loved the feeling of the water, however one thing he didn't like was his hair falling over his eyes.He flicked them away befor grinning at her once more. "Haha!" He swam around in circles getting used to swiming again.
[19:04] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Before he could get too far she pounced at him, practically floundering in the water as she nipped and pawed at anywhere she could reach without drowning yourself.
[19:06] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih was caught off gaurd when she pounced on him, at first he stiffened before he realized it was her then he started to laugh and n** back at her. He swam as fast as he could into the more shallow parts, having a feeling she would still be behind him, then stood and wiggled his rump in the air growling playfully at her.
[19:08] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: As they neared the shallow parts she began to bounce through the water, splashing everywhere. It&d been a long time since she&d been able to just play. She got into the shallowest part she could, rolling onto her back and pawing at the air. Her laugh rand clear and she grinned harder than she every remembered. She wished she could do this all the time.
[19:09] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih chuckled slightly as she pretty much when right by him, he followed behind her then looked down at her as she laid on her back, she looked down at her with a grin. She was pretty cool and he was glad he ran into her. He pawed at her playfully her laughing contagious as he couldn't fight off his own laughter.
[19:12] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Resting her paws against her chest, she tilted her head to the side. Her eyes traced over Nazih&s face for a moment before she smiled. "Hey Nazih?" She paused, not sure how to continue. "Uhm... We&re going to be friends for a while right?"
[19:16] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih chuckled before he slipped down the rolled over so he was also looking at the sky, next to her still. At her words she looked over at him then chuckled slightly. "Yes we are Sadiki, you can come find me anytime. I'll be there." He nudged her shoulder with his nose then looked up again, resting his paws on his chest and closing his eyes enjoying the feeling.
[19:22] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: Sadiki felt somewhat at peace once she heard his answer. She relaxed in the water, letting it ripple around her body. Staring up at the clouds her tail began to swish. some were starting to turn orange with the descending sun, but they were still fluffy. "That one looks like a rabbit!" She laughed, pointing towards one of the clouds.
[19:24] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih smiled as he felt some of relaxation in the air. A smile grew on his maw even though his eyes were still closed. A purr escaped deep from his thoat until she said something, his eyes snapped open then he smiled softly as he looked up at the sky then started laughing a bit. "Oh! Your right!" He giggled.
[19:26] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: She let her paw fall again then hummed deep in her throat. It had been a nice day. Perhaps she could have a little fun in her life more often. "Oh, hey. Your mom isn&t gunna want you home soon is she? I wanna show you something when the sun gets a little lower." She grinned, a sparkle setting to her eye.
[19:27] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih looked over at her once more thne sat back thinking. He was pretty sure his mom would be cool if he was out a little longer, he was getting older. He made a small face as he thought then shook his hea.d "Naw I'm pretty sure I can stay out longer, Just when your done showing me I'm gonna have to go, don't want to worry her too much." No he didn't like worrying her, not after she so kindly took him in.
[19:30] [c=#1CCCFF]|[/c][c=#9C01EF]DarkHeartedSorrows[/c][c=#1CCCFF]|[/c]: She sat up, letting the water roll off her back. "Well... when we get there the sun should be low enough." She grinned. "C&mon, it&s this way." She stepped out of the water and without shaking off she began padding toward the east. Her step was light and she was confident. He&d like this.
[19:49] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih looked up at her when she stood before smiling at her. "Alright!" He stood up and unlike her shook off, making sure that his hair was out of his eyes, before trotting up to catch up with her stride

12:02] DHS [Scream your heart out]: She grinned as she turned her head to look at him. "This'll be great, it's not too far away." Her tail dripped as it swayed to and fro, occasionally splashing Nazih as she flicked it too hard. But in the intense afternoon sun it wasn't too long before she'd dried to the point where she was no longer dripping. They walked through the long grasses for quite some time. Enough for the sun to move down a notable degree. By this time it bathed the lands in a red glow and made her violet eyes sparkle even more. the grasses got shorter and shorter as they neared a patch of forest and without missing a beat she disappeared between the dark trunks. "C'mon!" She called behind her.
[12:10] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih chuckled a bit every time he could feel some water splash him but he didn't say athing, nothing at all. He kept up with her with a large smile. A few thoughts were going though his mind one of the main thoughts were how much fun he was having this day, he really hoped to be friends with her for a while. He paused when they got to the woods he looked around in them before looking toward where her voice was. "A... Alright." He puffed out his chest hiding his nervous-ness and followed behind her.
[12:15] DHS [Scream your heart out]: She waited til she heard his gentle pad-fall before she continued on. It wasn't long before they emerged on the other side of the thick trees. In the middle of this patch of foilage was a clearing of golden grass. A lake sat in the middle of the clearing with a small waterfall flowing into it. Flowers blossomed here and there and butterflies fluttered away from the lions they did not know.
[12:16] DHS [Scream your heart out]: The reason she'd brought him here at this time was because of the way the red sun illuminated everything. The golden grass seemed to sparkle and the once blue water was turned orange by it's intensity. The whole clearing seemed alive and beautiful, like the magic of a god.
[13:42] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih was still hiding the slight nervousness he had in his gut, he didn't like wandering through this forest but appaerntly Sadiki knew where she was going and he was going to trust her. He puffed out his chest and grinned slightly and as soon as he saw the clearing a smile grew on his face more. It was beautiful and sun oh he had never seen anything like it before! "Oh my Sadiki it is awesome! How did you find this?" He grinned as he bounced foreward and looked around the area and flicked his tail behind him hapily.
[13:44] DHS [Scream your heart out]: The large smile on her face shrank a little. "Well, this was my herd's home, before the attack." She looked down at the ground and kneaded her claws into the soft, rich soil. "I've lived here since before I can remember. It's always prettiest around this time though." She looked back up and tilted her head at him. "You like it?"
[13:45] [-Yin-] :3: Nazih's ear's flattened slightly when she said that it was her heard's. That made him feel a little guily but he tired to shrugg it off not wanting her to feel bad, he looked back toward her with a smile. "Its beautiful..." He nodded to her and grinned. "I like it a lot."

Sadiki nodded. She was glad he liked it. It made her feel good. And she began to think about all the fun they could have here. She wouldn't be so lonely if every once in a while he could come and visit her, and they could be friends playing in her home.
Smiling, she watched him. "You're going to come visit me sometimes, right? Please?" She almost begged, now uncertain. Would he really want to hang out with her?

Nazih watched the area around him in awe. He wished he didn't have to go home soon, he wanted to hang out where with his new friend. He was completely distracted until she started to speak again.
He turned toward her with a smile before nodding. "Of course I will!" He giggled softly pawing at her with a smile. "I'd love to play with you." She was really the only other one around this area that he could spend time with. Other wise he would be alone most of the time. And she was also really cool, why wouldn't he want to spend time with her. "Well... I still think I have to go home soon." His ears flattened at the idea, he loved his adoptive mother but he also wanted to spend some time with her.

Her ears perked high and she grinned for ear to ear. "We'll have to much fun! I promise!" She ran in a small circle around him and then rubbed up against his side happily. "I really do promise!" She pawed at him once before stepping away.
"Well, you have to get home to your family. They'll be worried. Mine would be." She nodded thoughtfully. "But you can come back tomorrow. We'll play then!"

Nazih giggled and grinned as Sadiki ran circles around him. He nipped softly at one of her ears as she did before giggling again. "Yay! I doubt you have to promise though. I'm more that sure we will always have fun!" He giggled before flicking his tail behind.
"Alright! I will see you around." He nipped at her once more before nodding. "I'll see you tomorrow!" He chuckled before turning around heading in the direction that he came, he couldn't wait for tomorrow when he got to play again.

"Yeah," she smiled. "See ya tomorrow!" She watched him leave and continued to watch as he was long gone. It took a few moments before she could move again, she was just so happy.
She finally turned, racing over to her little den under the waterfall and curled up in a tight ball, ready to sleep. The sooner she slept the sooner tomorrow would come, and the sooner tomorrow came the soon she'd be able to play with Nazih. Her new friend.
