Orriole is the oldest elf alive. His life is bound to the very fabric of the elven realm. He is best friends with Feodor, but has also become a close friend of Hirschel's, seeking to help make up for what Feodor did to Hirschel and Yuki. Sweet and kind, Orriole's gentle nature hides a deep sadness, as he has outlived everyone he has ever loved. Even though the circumstances of their meeting were unfortunate, Hirschel regards Orriole as a close friend. Orriole is also an extremely talented and world-renowned Classical musician, one of Hirschel's personal musical idols. Orriole presently teaches music at the Liberty Center. He has two pet mice, Terra and Castella.

A thief and petty crook, Feodor was what brought Hirschel and Yuki together, though the circumstances were less than ideal. Feodor is responsible for Hirschel's missing left eye, which he ripped out during a fight. He also inserted himself into Yuki's life against her will for several months. During a second altercation with Hirschel, Feodor forced Hirschel to blood-bond, making it impossible for Hirschel to harm him. The blood-bond has forced an uneasy alliance between Feodor and Hirschel; as much as Hirschel hates Feodor for everything, he can't help but have his perception colored by the bond, and he has so few people left in his life since his sister's death that he's secretly grateful for both Orriole and Feodor. Feodor, for his part, doesn't harbor any bad feelings about the whole being hunted thing, and actually likes Hirschel a great deal. (He enjoys messing with Hirschel especially, but in a friendly way.) Yuki, however, hates Feodor and refuses to speak with him.

A little bit nuts but a lot bit loving, Lem entered the picture after the attempted alien invasion of the elven realm when the world barrier was broken. She was to her universe was Orriole was to the elven realm, so they had a lot in common. When repairing the world barrier, they left the gateway between Lem's universe and the elven realm intact. Lem has been part of their little group of friends ever since. She absolutely adores Hirschel, but finds Yuki scary. Lem's a bit absentminded and comes and goes randomly.

Yuki's former best friend, they've grown distant over the years, but still call and catch up with one another every few months. Machiko was married to Orriole briefly. She owns a gymnastics training center and helps train Japan's future Olympians.

Feodor's wife, Kiprilla's family once had ties to Hirschel's, and she was the one tipped Hirschel off as to Feodor being in Japan. Kiprilla is a fashion designer and owns a small three-store chain of stores in Tokyo and Osaka, specializing in jewelry, clothing, and accessories imported from France as well as her own designs. Like most elves, she looks down on Hirschel for his vampire heritage. She can be a bit of a shrieky shrew, especially when pregnant, as she is right now with her and Feodor's second child, a boy they intend to name Tobias. The average length of an elven pregnancy is nine years. (Which explains why Feodor is so conveniently hanging out with Hirschel a lot of the time.) They have a daughter, Brigitte.

A classmate of Yuki's and Machi's in middle school, Masamichi's life was drastically changed by Feodor and Orriole's arrival. He has had a crush on Yuki ever since elementary school, but Yuki has no interest in him, and out of respect Masamichi does not act on his feelings. They still maintain a friendship. Orriole saved Masamichi's life when Masamichi attempted to jump from the roof of the school, and ever since they've had a close bond of kinship. Masamichi currently teaches music at the Liberty Center, but has aspirations of becoming a conductor. He plays violin.

He was interred in the earth due to a mixture of violence and racial prejudice when Hirschel was only a few months old. What happened to him after that is unknown.

Hirschel's mother, she died of old age when Hirschel was only 220, still waiting for her husband Konstantin to return to her. Quiet and demure, she has widely been regarded as a failure for ruining her family's legacy when she married half-breed Konstantin, took his name, and bore him a son.
