A sluggish recently grown body made its way from what was now his home. The Simbafutaji lands, with Siti and his adoptive siblings. They were his family. He loved his family even though he was quiet about it. He just recently started calling Siti mom, and if felt right to him. His past life was full of traveling, he always liked it you can say. But when he was first traveling it wasn't for the fact that he wanted to, it was because he wanted to get away. Get away with his sister. But now he didn't have his sister, his real sister anyway. He was taken from her.
And that was the reason he was taking off to do this durning the morning.
He gained a fear of the dark, when his sister was taken from him he felt like he couldn't protect anything including himself. He started to travel during the day again. But now he had Siti. Siti was most likely the reason he was alive to see he Adoltence days. He was so greatful. He had a home.
He sighed through his nose as he looked around. The sun was slowly brightening around him. His paws were leaving imprints on the ground. His belly was fully and his mind had only one thing on it.
The Seeking.
He knew he had to bring back three important things that he learned. What could he learn? He wasn't that sure. He sighed through his nose as he approched a large rock and looked over it. He made a small face he wasn't going to worry about rest or food, he just woke up and ate before he left. But where to start where to start. Maybe just wander around for a while and see what he could pick up on.
Yeah that sounded good.
He kneeded his paws gently on the ground then sighed pushing himself onward. He wasn't that sure of where he was going but he kept track in his mind of the direction he was going to make sure he could find his way home later.
It would suck to get lost out here.
And he wanted to get something done before night came. Yeah, he didn't want to get traped out in the middle of no where. He would spend his day wandering and once the sun just started to set it was his plans on finding a place to stay.
It was going to be a long day.

It wasn't that long until it was night.
Or so it seemed to him. He could have sworn he just started traveling, but now his legs were sore he was getting tired and he was surprised to see the sun starting to set, he didn't even get that far! He sighed through his nose as his eyes scaned over the area he was in a small pant escaped his lips and he decided to follow the smell of water.
He paused in his pace. He needed water he could feel the back of his throat swell with thirst, he didn't think it was that hot. But it was getting closer to night, he needed to get water... That was a hard decision. But he had learned when he was younger that he needed, needed more than a safe place.
His hair bristled at the idea of being out at night but he quickly shook it off, the faster he did this the faster he could find a place. He quickly took off toward the water.
Once he was finished, drank his fill of water he looked around, water falling off of his chin. He quickly lapped it up before looking around. he had no clue where he could stay and the night was quickly approching. A small amount of panic ran over him as he looked around. "Of course, no where safe to stay in sight." He murmured, not knowing that he wasn't alone.
It wasn't company such as another feline but it was something. He noticed a small mouse pop out from the trees. Making him arch a curious brow. A funny sounding laugh came from its small mouth before it stared at him.
"Funny you are, you." He was even more confused at the way it was talking but before he could get anything else off the mouse contiuned to speak. "This tree can be home, be." It grinned as it moved down the base of the tree, it was nice sized, he had seen Siti climb one or two like this. "This tree can protect, can. You got to give it a chance, it."
He looked up at the tree, never really giving it that way, he could hide in the branches. He really never thought of trees of anything other than shade on a hot day.
Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
He saw a tree. This mouse saw a home. Could it work he was sure of it. He grinned at the mouse. "Thank you." Was that something learned that he could used. To him it was. He beamed proud of himself before climbing up into the branches of the tree and settling for the night, he knew he was going to be fine.

Then the days went by faster.
It was a few days later. He was sprawled out on a branch of a tree, the same one he kept going back to. He wasn't that sure of what to think. He was on his own right now. He wanted to get back home, get back so bad and hew knew he just couldn't go back with out finishing his quest. He wanted to do it, he just didn't want to give up. He wasn't like that.
But in the back of his mind he questioned himself. Was he like that? Did he give up on his sister? That was something always on his mind. He didn't know if she was okay still and he didn't know where she was, not at all. Was he one to give up, did he give up?
The idea bothered him and today he wasn't wanting to go anywhere. Hunger was gnawing at him but the idea of giving up on his sister was stuck on his mind. Tears fell down from his face, he hadn't cried for a while. She was so young why why?
The people you care about most in life are sometimes taken from you too soon.
It took him a while before it came into his mind. That was a lesson he learned, it was something that was there for all of his life but now he wasn't that sure of it. But it was true and it was something that had to be learned.
But he gave up on her!
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
It wasn't his fault entirely. He was young, he couldn't stop what went on. He blamed himself everyday, but when he did that he wasn't trying he gave up but thats because he blamed himself and sullked.
There! Three life lessons. He sniffled a bit. He had learned it took him for most of his life but he needed this to learn. And he did.
Three things he could take back to his pride. He knew he wasn'ted to get there soon and that was some deep thinking. He stood up and jumped down from the tree sniffing the air, picking up the pride's scent. He was pretty sure those three things were very important, he could do a lot with those. A grin spread on his face before he trotted back home. Something felt like it was lifted off of his shoulders though.
Maybe he could find her soon.
But he knew he had to live for now.
