Morgan
Name: Morgan
Gender: Male
Species: Nu Mou
Personality: Morgan is a naturally curious child, he wants to understand the world around them, how it works, how big it is and what's out there in it. This makes him adventurous becuase Morgan prefers to learn by doing, going places, touching things and the like. He is independent and tries hard to find answers without having to resort to asking others for help. Having discovered anything he considers new however Morgan is more than willing to share the knowledge with others as long as he get some form of credit or recognition for sharing.
Morgan isn't really fond of rules since they make it hard to do things the way they want to; thus he will try a find way to twist or avoid them whenever possible. Breaking rules outright comes with consequences so Morgan tries not to do that unless he has to. Nevertheless this disregard for the rules tends to get him into trouble.
Fear is for other people, Morgan has no time for tiptoeing around bugs or freezing in the dark when exploring. Water is an exception to this, as a Nu Mou Morgan will go out of their way to avoid the substance as much as possible and being caught in the rain is cause for panic. Early attempts at baths will result in loud hysterical fits of fear.
A lack of fear can and will lead to more than one accident until Morgan learns that fear and caution are not the same thing and both are useful in their own rights.
Animals are a great source of amusement and curiosity for Morgan becuase they act so very different from humans. While the child still prefers human/humanoid company, he does like to watch and follow animals around to try to understand them.
For all that Morgan loves exploring his body is not made for extended strenuous activity and one can often fine the child parked just about anywhere taking a breather.
Likes: Animals, music, Storybooks, traveling.
Dislikes: Water, staying still.
Abilities:~ Animal control: Morgan can compel animals to do what he wants them to through a magical mental link. To make this work he must first create eye contact with the animal in question. Resistance is always a factor and Morgan can lose control of the animal at any time if the natural mind resists enough or a stronger force interrupts the process. The more intelligent an animal is the harder it is to force control but the easier it is to give commands that they creature will understand. Morgan is fully capable of breaking eye contact after the initial link is made and can move freely and do other things while the animal under control is also active. However they must maintain some mental focus on the creature's mind or risk losing control.
* Ability is always active but only really useful or successful as Morgan ages and is capable of understanding it and having the focus required to use it effectively. Aka as a toddler the chances of them successfully compelling any animal to do anything are small becuase he wouldn't have a clue what he was doing or the mental ability to overpower any but the weakest minds.
* Morgan can make a dog do something but not an anthro dog person, however even an extremely intelligent sentient dragon( that is not humanoid in some form) counts as an animal and could attempt to control them though likely without much success.
** Abilities based somewhat on the Nu Mou beastmaster job in FFTA
