I was browsing /k/ and saw this strange little thing here. Called the palm pistol it is a 9mm pistol you shoot with your thumb. It was designed that way for old people and others who have limited dexterity. Doesn't even really look like a gun, and I'm not sure how (if) you aim it, but I thought I'd pass it along. http://www.palmpistol.com/

From the PDF document linked to the web page: Quote: A Picatinny rail for attaching accessories such as a strike bezel, light or the LaserLyte Subcompact V2 laser sight may also be incorporated as optional features. Strike bezel. Sweet idea for people who like to make their point up close and personal. I want one. Wonder if it can handle +P+ hollow point rounds...

The original production model was legendary for stovepiping rounds for no damn good reason. As Admiral Ackbar said, It's a trap! Don't buy used or you'll find out the hard way why they're so cheap!

I think i saw this on gizmodo or engadget a week or so ago, it was approved as a medical device, meaning old people get them for free or something like that.

I don't think Academy buys used guns, but how would I know if it was?
