~*~Rilana along with her Captain had returned to Wide Plains to check on the kingdom and also think about what had been going on in the Capital. As they approached the house she raised a brow at the lack of guards at the gate, glancing to Cirden. It was odd in deed to not see at three guards at a time there.~*~"I don't like this Cirden were are the guards at? It doesn't make sense, I need to find my parents immediately."~*~She would say to him as the carriage slowly stopped at the stairs leading inside. The driver opened the door for them to get out and she glanced around a little unsure and not to happy about how it was looking.~*~
::Cirden was sitting on the opposite side of Rilana as they rode home in the carriage. And he too was concerned about the lack of guards at the main gate. His eyes moving to her as she spoke, he would slightly shake his head. Then looked back out trying to see if he notice anything else unusual. "My Lady this is very strange, and hopefully your parents can answer these questions. Cause I know right now I have no idea what is going on." He said before the carriage stopped and they both would get out. He knew from hearing Katherine and all there was trouble, but this made no sense. They hadn't receive any message saying Wide Plains was having trouble other wise they'd a come back sooner. Moving with her up the stairs and inside. He took a deep breath and his hand lightly resting on the hilt of his sword.::

~*~As they walked up the stone stairs to the palace one of Rilana's parents maid came walking out to them. Curtsying she smiled softy at the Lady Rilana and her Captain before speaking. "Welcome home Lady Rilana, and Captain Delorium. I hope your trip to see the Queen went well, your parents are in the library, please follow me." Her voice soft, and calm as if nothing was going on that shouldn't be. Rilana bowed her head as the girl greeted them and offered her a soft smile. ~*~ "Yes it was an interesting trip I will say and thank you. Good I wish to speak with them."As she spoked they nodded and proceeded to follow her. Waiting till they were with her parents before asking about the guards.~*~
::Cirden smiled at the woman bowing in greeting to her before looking at Rilana wondering what she wish to do. Then nodded and proceeded to follow them inside. His eyes watched for any signs of trouble or problems, but the place seemed to still be as it was before they left. Shaking his head he remained quiet for now.::

~*~Reaching the library the maid knocked softly then opened the door before disappearing down the hall. Rilana looked over at Cirden then proceeded inside. Both her parents siting as it seemed looking over some papers before looking up at them.~*~ "Aw your home finally...good. So how is the Queen these days fairing?" Her father said with a slight smile as he looked to his daugher and the Captain. Her mother glanced to her husband before looking over at Rilana. "Yes, tell us how it went...we didn't expect you back so soon really. Is everything alright?" ~*~Rilana bowed her head to both her parents before raising a brow at their questions. Obviously the lack of guards was either nothing to worry over or they were hiding something. Shaking her head she moved over to the couch and sat down.~*~"My sister is fine why do you ask? Though seemed a little shocked at my arrival really. I wonder why that is mom, dad?"Yea she wasn't too happy about being lied to and wanted answers now, looking at both their faces when she spoke about Katherine as her sister. Their eyes grew wider and they both seemed to look down at the same time. Shaking her head she remained quiet for now.~*~
::He followed her inside standing to the side as she stopped to speak with her parents, only moving to bow his head in respect. He wasn't going to interrupt this talk, but was curious himself about the guards and all the lies. Though he sighed, raising a brow when her parents mentioned nothing of the absent members of his guard from the gate. Hearing Rilana he took a breath knowing she was still pretty upset and walked over to the couch. Setting a hand on her shoulder to try and calm her. Though seeing the reaction from her parents made him wondering what else they had been keeping a secret all this time.::

Her parents sat in their chairs and looked over to one another hearing their daughters questions and noticing the tone in her voice. Taking a few breaths her father finally spoke up. "Rilana I am sensing from your tone Katherine told you the truth, and I'm sorry we had to lie to you for so long. But you had to be kept away for Illomeania and sending you to live with us was the only way. Neither you nor Katherine were told about the other, till we sent you to see her. Given the recent events in the Capital and neighboring areas we knew you too had to find out the truth. If only to help you both against her. Please forgive us."He had tears in his eyes hating the fact he had to lie to her for so long, and loved her dearly despite not being her real father. He didn't want to lose her over this and would look down still crying. Her mother listened quietly but didn't respond there was no need too, her husband had said what needed to be said. It was up to Rilana whether she believed them or not.~*~Sitting quietly looking to her parents and feeling Cirden's hand on her shoulder she sighed. Though as her father proceeded to explain looked over her shoulder at him for a moment. Well that explained alot. Shaking her head she turned back still letting him continue and actually understanding though still not fully liking that they had been lied too all these years. As he stopped and was crying she slowly got up moving over to him, and leaned down wrapping her arms around him.~*~"Its alright father I understand you had to do it to protect me and to protect Katherine. As her and I also understand. Besides I have met the woman who is my mother, and do not like her at all. She had tried twice to turn me against Katherine, but I won't do it. Which is one reason we came back, that and needed to make sure the Wide Plains hadn't been attacked or anything. Neighboring kingdoms are being destroyed one by one, people going insane. I just don't understand it really."~*~Her voice was calm as she just held her father not wanting him to be upset or sad, she loved them both and would always consider them her real parents no matter what. Gently lifting her head to place a kiss on his cheek.~*~
::Seeing the look from Rilana he would nod as he stood there behind her just listening to her father. Yea it did answer alot of questions they had. He would shake his head squeezing her shoulder some before releasing it as she moved to her father. A soft smile coming over his face glad that she still trusted and loved them it seemed. As he wasn't himself angry or holding anything against them for this. They did it to protect both woman, that in itself was noble.:: M' lord, m'lady please calm yourselves, as we only wished for answers. Though both of us realize that you did it to protect Rilana and her sister, so we can't be angry for that...though we should see about trying to figure out what she really wants, and if it has anything to do with the attacks on the other kingdoms."
