 ((anyone feel free to jump in, however this is going to be a little secret santa perma rp. whee ))
Aurora slept peacefully in the moonlight atop a tall rock just outside the scrub forest of the island of Hal'ia. She was hoping she was not going to be bothered by a predator of some sort, due to the fact she was so small. If necessary she would easily be able to protect herself.
She snored lightly in the quiet night as the moon light shined beautifully on her scales.

 Frosty pranced along cheerful and warm in her snug cap and scarf. It was a good day to be alive, the air smelled of snow soon. Up ahead she spoted something on a tall rock. Frosty spred her wings and jumps up onto the rock.

Aurora woke up with such a startle she nearly fell off the rock. She clawed her way back up and looked at the stranger painter distastefully and sleepily.
"What are you doing? Don't you know it's like... really late at night?"

frosty looked about in the dark night. "Well of course! It's the best time to be out star gazing."

Aurora frowned, but her expression soon changed into a more relaxed state.
"I suppose you're right."
The moonlight continued to make her scales glimmer as she sat on her haunches and looked up at the starry night.
"My name is Aurora. And yours?"

"I am frosty. though I am also nice and warm Frosty is just my name." She giggles and plays with he scarf. "Your scales are very pretty."

Aurora smiles in response and turns her neck and raises her wing to look at her shiny scales.
"Oh why thank you. They really only look this way in the moonlight for some reason."

"They do? Well it's cool, what do they look like it the day time then?" She streches her wings. "Mine are just plain white."

"Not as shiny."
She laughed heartily and looked at her new found friend.
"So what were you doing before you decided to come wake me up."
At this point she didn't mind so much about being woken up from her slumber. Plus Frosty was right, the stars were shining brightly and it was nice and cool out. It was just going to get hot during the day anyway.
"Let's play a game."
Before hearing Frosty's reply, she quickly hopped down the rock and ran towards the thick shrub forest.

"What kind of game?" Frosty tries to ask to Arura but she is already gone off the rock. Frosty jumps down to follow her wings gliding her a couple of yards before landing. "Wait up."

Aurora bounds over various rocks and branches before she stops at the edge of the forest and turns to see where Frosty is.

Frostytied to ke to the air but found th folleges to diffiult to fly around. She winds up falling face first in a pile of mud, getting it all over het ornge snout. She sitts up trying to shake it off.

Aurora scampers back over to Frosty and helps her wipe the mud off her nose.
"You all right?"

"I'm alright, thankyou." Frosty smiles the mud driping off. "Flying in shrubbery doesn't work too well." She reaches up and wipes off as much mud as she can.

Aurora pranced around Frosty and ended up stopping on top of a stump nearby.
"like that."
She was a fairly playful girl, even when the sun went down and all the other painters went to sleep and the beaties with teeth came out to play.
