Lately i've been very scared of dying. People keep telling me that once you die, you basically turn into dirt and nothing more.
What do you guys think? Please help me demolish my doubts....

Well, I'm going to tell you what the Bible says, since this is a Christian guild.
The Bible says that there is a Heaven, and that anyone who believes in Christ will not die, but live forever in Heaven due to Christ's death and resurrection.

moonwalkman Lately i've been very scared of dying. People keep telling me that once you die, you basically turn into dirt and nothing more. What do you guys think? Please help me demolish my doubts.... If we do turn into dust and nothing more after we die then there is no purpose of life, the existence of this universe and everything that exist. Another words, no accountability, no punishment so live what pleases you for your own glory but you will die in vain. This thought is quite common among atheists and agnostics. Even though they themselves have never experience death. Quite risky and destructive! Now about Heaven, "For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." ~ 2nd Corinthians 5:1-10

God promises us a better life, if we put our faith in Christ, which is in Heaven.

well, when we die our body with decay on earth, but our spirit will go either to heaven or hell (heaven for anyone who accepted Chirst into their life) so really if you die, I wouldn't worry about your body so much since it's so temporary and just a shell for our spirit. Moreover, be more concern about your spirit and keep you lampstand lighting with light

Yes, there is a heaven and most definitely Hell. I am also afraid of Death. But if you truly believe in God and how he died for our sins, you'll be saved.

John 3:16
"For God so lvoed the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have an everylasting life."
Its saying that if you put your faith in God and ask for forgiveness for your sins through Jesus Christ you will get to live with Jesus. If you do this then there will be no death, but a long heavy sleep until Jesus comes to take His children and recreate this world.
So let me ask you this. Are you going to beleive what humans say based on their perspective or are you going to believe THE book of God??
