She was at the karaoke bar already. She had her hair straightened and pulled back into a braid, exposing the huge golden hoops in her ears. She wore light make-up; only some dark red lipstick and a blue print floral skirt with a matching pink shirt and flip flops. Her coat was on the couch in her room already, and she'd just finished ordering drinks.
Oz wasn't late, but she was early. Khahlela wanted to make sure everything was just perfect for her first date with an American guy.

He had dressed in a pair of Khaki shorts, topped with a red polo shirt. He lookedlike the classic Abercrombie and Fitch model, but he honestly, had never really been that type.
The Kareoke bar was well lit, like they were trying tolet you know youwere about to be embarrassed beyond all belief.
He walked in, looking at the rolex on his wrist, and deciding he was slightly early, but pretty close to when he said he'd meet her here.
He looked around, not expecting to actually see her, but when he did, he smiled, walking over to her.
She looked lovely tonight, her hair being straightened really made the attention go to her face.
"Good evening."
He said smiling.

She looked up at the voice and gave a brilliant smile, getting up to greet him. "Good evening, Oz," she murmured softly. Why did her heart flutter? Of course he was attractive, he wouldn't be on TV otherwise. Shaking her head of that thought, she sat back down and bit on her bottom lip.
"I hope you don't mind, but I ordered drinks.."
She'd gotten him what he drank when they'd first met. And she got herself a beer. Lela had taken to the amber liquid quite well. "Maybe I can get you to sing today."

Course he was okay with drinks being ordered. He liked a good drink.
"Well thanks." He said, smiling, and pullingout his seat to sit down next to her.
"Ah, well.. I cant garauntee that, as I said theres a reason Im an actor, but we can see. Im moreinto wanting you to get on stage anyway."
He said with a mischevious smile.
He ran a hand through his hair, leaning back in his chair,and looking at her with a grin.
"Sohow you been?"

She watched him carefully, her cheeks slightly flushed as he smiled and watched her. Licking her lips, she gave a small shrug and sighed. "I've been... good?" Lela had to think on that a moment, her head turning away from him.
The drinks came then, and she was glad for the little interlude. She was nervous about this date. Taking her beer and popping the top, she took a swig from it and felt the burn in her throat. Good beer. She licked her lip again and shook her head. "If I am on stage, you'll be next to me, dancing and singing."
