How long had she been watching Dalibor? Talking to him briefly? Didn't she hate the male species? Or was everything different now? Was he the one exception? But what about Narcissa...
Looking around her Natasha noticed it was getting darker and she had been gone almost the entire day. Her baby must be hungry. Dropping to the ground she hurried to Dalibor. "You no move ok? I be back..." With that she turned and lept to the trees effortlessly.
It didn't take long for Natasha to find where she had left her daughter, she had marked it clearly... the only problem was, was that Narcissa was no where around. "Cis? Narcissa?" She called... anxioty running through her. She had left her daughter here hadn't she? "Narcissa!?" She called louder, jumping around the trees.
She wasn't here... there was something wrong with this. Tears sprung to her eyes as she turned and ran back to Dalibor... he could help... couldn't he?

The days seemed to drag on; he had seen his family, but he hadn't found the time to talk about what had happened to him. As Natasha spoke, the stopped his steps to look at her(the lioness rarely talked to him, so when the opportunity rose, the listened attentively). "Hm? Oh, of course." He nodded and watched her leave. To see her daughter, no doubt. The one she spoke of briefly the first time they met. He didn't speak of her, but he knew enough... Moments passed and his mind drifted. As he heard her footsteps, his ears perked. As he noted the quick pace he looked to her. As he saw the tears, he frowned. "Natasha..."

Natasha came flying out of the trees, tears stinging her eyes. "Gone! Narcissa gone!" She whined, panting from sprinting the whole way back. Her heart was hammering and she kept looking over her shoulder expectantly. "Don't know where!" She turned to look back, shifting uneasily but not wanting to leave Dalibor for the moment. "Help please!?" She groaned as she laid down on the ground, staring pleadingly into the trees. Rising again and pawing at the ground she took a couple steps forward but hesitated. Would he help?

Dalibor opened his mouth to speak, but closed it again. Her daughter... gone? His ears pinned back. He knew what it was like. To have a child, gone. His tail flicked as he watched her fretting, and his frown grew deeper. "Come on," he murmured, gently. "I'll help you find her." He nodded and walked towards her, looking down with a sorrowful expression. 'Torque...'

Natasha was shaking, her adrenaline was pounding through her. She just wanted her baby... She would run forward a few steps then circle back to walk beside him. "I left in tree... went back... gone... no where.... smell her... can't find her..." She stuttered and spoke quickly, her accent think and her english poor. Even when she wasn't fretting she didn't have great english, she was a wreck.

His ears pinned back further as he watched her with worry. The sight of it made his heart ache with memory. A distressed mother would do no good in finding her. With gentle movements, Dalibor walked to the wrecked mother's side, setting his head atop hers. It wasn't a romantic movement, merely one to calm her down and show further that he would help her. "You know what she smells like, right?" He pulled away, still calm, and looked her in the eye. "And she is your daughter. She'll smell like you do. We can postpone seeing my family and we can go look for your Cissa. Alright?" He gave a hopeful smile and nodded his head. "Alright?"

Natasha, sick with worry, leaned against him trying to think clearly. Her ears had gone down when he laid his head on hers but she didn't do anything to pull away, if anything she kind of liked it. "Yes. Smell... I can smell her..." She said softly and moved away, taking a deep breath, trying to find which direction to go. "This way... I hope..." She said with a sigh and followed below the trees her daughter had just oppupied not but a couple of hours ago...

Dalibor gave a slight smile and watched her. "Alright, then." He nodded and ran briskly beside her. "We'll find her, Natasha. I promise." He nodded his head and flicked his tail, absorbing in the scents of both her and her daughter with a few deep breaths.

Natasha began to quicken, the scent growing stronger. Although she had caught onto it, she was stil very unsure. "I can't lose her... she's all I have left..." It had been the smoothest english sentance she had every said, once she couldn't lie about. "Please, I need her." She had stopped for a short moment, looking at Dalibor. Her eyes were filled with pain and worry, her feelings were twisting around like a tempest in her sea green orbs.

Dalibor's steps came to a stop and he frowned. The sadness in her eyes pulled him apart and he stepped to her. "I'll find her, Natasha. I'll bring you two back together." He gave her a comforting nuzzle, pulling her close. "I promise. I'll do everything in my power..." It hurt him to see her like this. Losing one's child was something that no one deserved.

How long had it been? Why were they still looking? Every outcome had passed through Natasha's mind at least a hundred times... even if she couldn't count that high. Every night she tossed and turned, occasionally waking as she had nightmares of her daughter becoming like her and being forced out of heaven but forbidden to enter hell.
"Narcissa!" Natasha wept as she was shocked back to real-life. Her heart was pounding and her face was covered with a dampness from the ground beneath them. How many miles had they covered? Why couldn't they find her? It had become clear someone took her for they came across mingled smells more often now. She looked to where Dalibor lie, she hoped she hadn't woken him again...

Dalibor was awake, but he wasn't awoken by the distressed lioness; cry. As he heard her, though, he looked, worried. "Are you alright, Natasha?" She had been getting worse over time. It was a sad thing to see happen. He wished he could help her more than he was at the moment. He padded towards her and sat at her side, brushing a paw over her cheek. "We're getting closer. I can... I can sense something. It's faint, but..."
And he had no idea what he was getting them into.
Her little puppet had grown, and my was she proud. Lampetie watched as Nissa trained with her, what used to be harmless sparring and teaching turning into something that would turn the lioness dark forever. "Good job, Nissa." She grinned and watched the younger lioness. "You're getting better every day."

Natasha closed her eyes when he brushed her cheek, she was grateful he had stayed with her so long. What if they found her? Would he leave... in some ways she didn't... she enjoyed his company. It was... relaxing. She sighed and rose. "We not found her... therefore we not close enough." Her soul had been shaken to the core, her heart broken. "I learn only from the best, Lampetie..." She said with a wicked grin. with the short time she had been with this lioness she had learned so much, something no man could teach her. She'd show Lamp... she wanted to make her proud. Her mother was never proud of her... "I want to know more Lampetie..." She complained, forgetting her defense for a moment.

Dalibor watched her. "That's just it." His eyes turned towards the side. "I think... I think I smell her." he wasn't too upbeat about it. Why? He smelt another scent with it. Something else.... Something... wicked. Something dark. Something he didn't want Natasha to face, though he knew he couldn't stop her...
As Cissa's defenses fell, Lampetie jumped at her, knocking them both to the grond and standing above her tall, and grinning. "And you have learned well. Not all that you could have, though." She stepped off of the younger lioness. "Much better, though, Cissa. And I still have much to teach you..."

"Oof!" Narcissa hit the ground, the air almost knocked out of her but she took a deep breath and kicked back up, turning quickly to face Lamp, not wanting to be over taken so easily again. "Lampetie... Where are we going? We havn't left these trees in forever... I know we blend perfectly and I have become soundless on my aproach and whatnot, but why can't we try other climates? If I want to become better, stronger... I have to be diverse!" This was the first time Narcissa had really brought up the point, she had learned to not question Lamp but still... she was so curious...
Natasha smiled at the little enthusiasim he had left. "I do t-" She was stopped by a soft thump in the trees. "What was that?" She brought her voice down to nothing more than a whisper of the breeze through the trees around them. "Did you hear something...?" She began stalking slowly in that direction before the breeeze wafted her smell... Narcissa smell, right to them. "NARCISSA!" She whispered as loud as she dared.
