Chardon had long ago left the forest and jungle behind, now traveling on sand and dirt. He passed by boulders, watering holes, and other creatures. Lions, leopards, cheetahs. You name it, he'd probably have seen it by now. Even hunting had been a bit difference. He had caught a gazelle, found half a zebra once, and some rabbits here and there (though they weren't nearly enough of a meal that would satisfy him).

He sighed, brushing past a bush with inedible berries on it. The lion wanted something sweet, for a change, but he couldn't find the right berry that would satisfy his wanting.
