I got this piercing about two months ago. I took out the original earrings about a month ago. About a week ago, I took them out. The backside of left piercing had some blood on it. I thought it might have been because of it's weight. Its 14k gold and it's pretty heavy.
Anyway, it turns out it wasn't the weight. I change my earrings to a pair of white gold earrings. They're pretty light but tonight when I took them out the bleeding was worse.
I read about it online and I can rule out its not infection from the earrings metal but I think it might be because I sleep on my left side and that my ear isn't properly healed.
Now, the solution would be easy, just sleep straight, right? I don't think I can do that. I have this superstition about keeping my back to the closet. They're just scary.
So I was wondering if you guys knew any other solutions?
tl;dr OH GOD MY EAR IS BLEEDING!!11! I think I know what the problem is but I can't fix it. Suggest other solution. KTHX!!11!

 Additional information:
Pus is coming out. gonk My left lobe is bigger than the right. I think it's swelling. At the bottom of the lobe I feel something. I can't tell if it's hard because when I pinch it it hurts. It's really sensitive.
I've removed the earrings and cleaned it with anti-bacterial soap. If I don't find another way to fix this I think I might give up wearing earrings. (If I do, then I'll probably have to give away all the earrings my mom bought for me. sad )

Ginji of Thunder Meat. Frozen. Put it on thar for about 20 minutes. Um...yeah... I'll put something cold, but not meat. My last encounter with raw meats had me going to the ER for infection.
I have such a ******** up immune system.

It's an infection. Uhm...I don't know what to do, but taking the earrings out and cleaning it thoroughly every day might be a good idea. I'd say don't leave them out, or you risk it closing up...

Deck Of Jesters It's an infection. Uhm...I don't know what to do, but taking the earrings out and cleaning it thoroughly every day might be a good idea. I'd say don't leave them out, or you risk it closing up... http://www.wikihow.com/Treat-an-Infected-Ear-Piercing I already know it isn't an infection. I clean them well enough to know that isn't a problem.
FYI, If it is an infection the first thing you do is to take them out.

Heh, my fiancee did the same thing, but still got infected (she has an incredibly weak immune system). But, you might not have an infection, it just sounds like it to me.
However, since I can't say one way or the other as I can't see it directly...I guess just go back to the piercer, or a local one if that's not possible.

Just to put it out there, I didn't mean to sound condescending, if I did >.< It's 6 am and I'm tired, so my coherence is...low xD

Just try to keep it clean, and squeeze the icky stuff out if you can.
And then find someone else's bed to sleep in so you don't have to be afraid of your closet.

Put your pillow on the other side of the bed. : Like, your feet would be where your head usually is?
Otherwise, take off the earrings for a few days. I doubt the piercing will close up, that doesn't happen unless you don't wear earrings for months.

um, get over it? Is just holes in your ears. Sleep different or deal with it, and don't take a piercing out afore it's healed. srsly.
