The election will start at August 10th, and will end at August 15th. Don't forget to vote within these days!
Alright, the previous governor of Avantgarde, Ankoku Gitsune, has resigned, and now, we will be holding an election here in this thread.
If you would like to be a candidate, please post your interest here, along with whether how often you are active, your RPing experience, and your Sci-Fi experiences as well. If there are anything else you'd like to say, I guess. Later on, I will add a poll on who should be the new governor of Avantgarde.

Hello
My name is Darkend_Angel. And I am running for Govenor of Avantgarde. I am very active and I'm on almost all the time. I am currently rping in several different guilds as well as this one. I have had many encounters with Sci-Fi role playing and I enjoy rping in many different kinds of guilds. I am very helpful and I am a very hard worker. I'm also multi talented, I just love doing things. I wish everyone a wonderful day. And please pick me to be your new govenor. ^_^

Hello fellow Vanguardians! My name is Rico, and I will also be running for the position of Governor on Avantegarde. Many of you are thinking "What the hell? This guy doesn't even have an ID card in his signature! What the hell is he doing running for governor?" Well, I'll tell you why. The Grand Vanguard Role Playing community is rather well, dull. (No offence intended.) And I am running to make things better, more exciting, and more enjoyable.
Many of you may not have noticed, or seriously doubt that I contributed to this RP at all. That is incorrect. I have been friends with Locke (Creator of the Grand Vanguard RP), and Vicki (Governor of Vann Sky), for over 5 years. I've helped them start this thriving RP and am helping more to make the community larger. I am also helping Locke on his new video game, Crescent Legends. ( wink Coming to a PC near you! xd ) And if elected, I will promise to continue helping and to get 500% more involved with this RP.
As for my experience: I may not be very experienced to RPing when it comes to forum RPing, but with regular RPing, I'm filled with experience. I have been RPing for roughly 6, count them, 6 years. Most of which (Around 5 years.) has been spent doing Sci-Fi or Fantasy role playing with Locke and Vicki. We have done role plays which span from Cloud Kingdoms, to the Grand Vanguard in the extremely early stages. So vote for me! domokun

Due to some technical difficulties that caused my last speech to be deleted and the backup destroyed, Locke has agreed to let me make a less augmented, more list-like speech for this election.
I have been Forum and Battle RPing in all styles from Fantasy, to Oriental, to Sci-Fi for roughly 4 years now. In these 4 years I’ve worked with some of the greater RPing and writing minds on the net in some amazing and very successful RPs, including a few about AC and Mech Warrior.
I have also created and led several RPs in which I have played the Main character, several other major characters, and a plethora of minor characters. These RPs have ranged from a comedy RP titled “Matrix: The Anime-tricks” to a Fan Sequel RP titled “Final Fantasy: Children of the Gunblade”, to a Realistic RP based around a space station called “Third Waltz of Legend”.
Also, as you may know, I was the winner of the Grand Vanguard Photography Mission and also the creator of the Custom Mech images, the Guild Banner, and many of the Backgrounds used in Grand Vanguard ID Cards. I plan to use my experience in the 3D Graphic area to bring a huge selection of images and animations to the station of Avantgarde including a brand new 3D animation of the station and some animations of space races and fights.
In addition I have worked closely and hard with Locke and Beth (Super Sailor Moon) to develop a strong, fun, and interactive Custom Mech battle system in which RPers purchase Equipment to customize their Mechs then duke it out in the Battle Arena for Prizes or in RP Events and Missions.
Finally, I am very active on Other sites, Gaia, this guild, and expecially this RP. I check up on things several times a day to make posts, take commisions for my Graphic shop, and do a whole lot of RPing.
If Elected for the position of Avantgarde governor, I will bring the RP brilliant 3D graphics, incredible interactive events, and stunning new feature like custom spaceship shops and planet based weapons and battles. So Vote Leowen for Avantgarde governor!

There's only 3 days left for the election. People, make your votes, and candidates, this is perhaps one of the most important times to make your moves. You do want to get the other 27 people's votes that hasn't voted yet, don't you?
