It had been a few weeks now and Koy had found herself very attached to the male that courted her. She had found out a lot about herself along the way as well; he had changed her for the better—one could say. She no longer feared the outer world and walked the lands with a bright smile.
Today though she was sunbathing, purring softly to herself as she stretched out and smiled; the sun was so warm today and it played off of her dark coat wonderfully; Where her ‘mate’ had wandered off to—she did not know; she didn’t keep tabs on him, she wasn’t one to cling.

The rock his 'mate' was currently sunbathing on was a good bit higher than the surrounding grasses, so it wasn't that hard for him to blend in and sneak up on him. Besides, she wasn't really looking around much anyway. This was too easy.
He slowly crept up, towards the end of the rock where her hind feet and tail was, ruffling through the grass at a slow pace. Chardon stopped when he broke a twig, then kept going after a moment. His grin was wide and his eyes sparkled in the sunlight.
But then he suddenly pounced, coming up to land on the rock directly over her, his feet on either side of her. He grinned proudly at her.

Koy laughed as he moved himself into sight; her dark eyes narrowed and with a thud she felt herself rub up against the rock roughly as he pounced her. She giggled like a cub would and blushed, biting her lower lip a little as she gazed up at him with a rather bashful look.
“Ha-ha, found me, eh?”
She ay still and gazed up at him.
"Hello!"

"I did find you," he told her, bending down to lick her neck. His tail swished around from side to side above her.
"Hello! Fancy finding you here," he grinned. "What are you doing here on this rock all alone?"
Much of the time the two acted like complete cubs around each other, flirting and teasing and playing games and bouncing around with the innocence of those younger than themselves. Today, apparently, was no exception.

“Haha, I was relaxing.”
She spoke out with a chuckle and smirk.
“But someone attacked me, and now I’m down here.”
As she spoke she laughed and batted at his face with her paws softly as if to play with his mane. Her ears twitched as she purred a little and sighed.
“What do you want to do today?”

"Attacked you? I did no such thing."
He blew lightly in her face and shook his mane so it fluffed over her outstretched paws.
"I dunno. What do you feel like doing?"
He asked in turn, still smiling.

“I don’t know.”
She giggled and licked his cheek.
“It’s really up to you.”
Her head nodded a few times as she spoke. Koy slowly moved herself up and wiggled free from his gasp. Her brown eyes danced with excitement as she nipped at his left ear a little and pulled away from him, jumping off of the rock.

He made a face at her.
"Up to me, hm? Ow!"
He yanked his head back reflexively and watched her bound away with a gleeful look on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
"So that's how it's going to be." He crouched down and with a growl launched himself after her, chasing and nipping gently at her shoulders and back of her neck.

“If your looking for a fight boy, I’ll take you on now!”
Koy growled playfully and nipped right back; her paws softly batted at his nose as she turned to n** at his neck too, facing him as she did this.
Her tail swayed back and forth as she laughed and tackled him.
“I can take you!”

Boy? Nay, he was a man!
But he yelled in surprise as he was suddenly tackled to the ground by a nicely-sized lioness.
"Yeah? I'd like to see you try!"
He quickly rolled them both over to the side a few times, finally ending up with him on top. He gave her a smirk and bent to close his jaws lightly across her throat.

“you trying to kill me!”
She laughed as she felt his fangs against her neck. A soft gasp passed her chest and within seconds she felt herself give out from under him.
“Oh god, I can see the light!”
She laughed as she stuck her tongue out and played dead.
“You… you beat me! Oh, oh the pain!”
God, she couldn’t help it. With her last gasp she let her paws and body rest; playing dead took skill, after all! She had to stay VERY still!

No, he wasn't trying to kill her. Apparently he has succeeded, for she lay dead under him.
"The light has called you and now you are mine," he chuckled darkly. "Though you should be glad you're past the point of suffering; pain was never good for you, my dear."
With a smooth movement, he burrowed himself under her 'body' and lifted her up to lay on top of his back. She wasn't heavy at all, so he trotted at an easy gait back to the rock she had been resting on, and went under it. There was a slice of rock overhead that created a spacious area of shade. He released her and let her slip to the ground gently. Then he sat next to her and took a territorial stance, half-way over her body.
"And now, mine for the feast!" Pretending to eat her, he made gnawing sounds and instead licked and nibbled from her ears to her stomach, imitating a feasting lion.

Giggling madly gave her act away; she wasn’t really good at playing dead when he did that to her. Her stomach ached as she laughed hard and rolled from side to side crying out.
“I give up! I give up! You win!”
Her face felt so hot as she chuckled to herself, her paws wrapping around her sides.

He gave a triumphant yell and collapsed on top of her.
"I win! It's hard to tickle you for so long, you know," he winked at her. "But it was worth it, I'd say." Ohhh yes, it was worth it to win.
He laid his head down on top of her crossed arms and stared at her.
"So what now?"

She gazed at him with tiny tears in her eyes. He had warn her out, big time. Koy gave him a soft lick on the nose before resting her head back down. She sighed deeply and smiled to herself as she gazed up at the sky.
“I say we take a nap now.”
Her head titled as she gazed at him for a long second.
“You ate up all of my energy, you know?”
