He couldn't help it, between the trembling in his hands and his limbs now getting int he way the cookies he had made for Mareike's visit...were....ruined! Okay so not ruined...just horridly mishapen. Since Christmas was coming he had tried to make gingerbread girls and boys. ...unfortunately his tentacles (now more awake than they had in a long while); had decided to help cut them out as well...ice them.
He looked at one gingerbread girl.....trying not to sigh as he took note that the tentacle Chii had drawn langerie on it. Whilst the other Fuu was having fun with the white icing on a male cookie... He couldn't show these to Mareike! Or anyone else for that matter!
Rubbing his forhead he was mostly nervous because his tentacles were more lively...and...he worried that his pheramones may be ...in effect. Though his mother hadn't acted any differently around him that day...so he assumed he must still be safe. He still had some pills left....maybe Chii and Fuu were just getting use tot he medication.
Still he hoped that Mareike wouldn't be offended by the cookies....he had done some himself and they looked normal. NOt done well but at least not wearing langerie and doing inaapropriate things.... Now all he had to do was wait for the marooned skinned girl to come over.

Mareike knocked on her friend's door unaware of the goings on inside.She wasn't sure if his mother was home and Nickle had insisted she be polite, bring a small cactus as a gift and wear a dress. Polite was easy to do, Mareike enjoyed Adriel's company and she supposed his mom couldn't be too bad, even if she did leave him at the facility becuase she didn't know how to deal with the problems his demon half caused him.
The thistle haired girl thought the cactus was silly and as her orange eyes looked over the small potted plant she couldn't see how this was really a gift or that it meant anything positive. The Dress she abhored, it was cream coloured and girly and it was tight enough at the top to modestly display the products of her recent growth spurt. Two things she wanted nothing to do with.

Adriel nearly choked on air as he haerd the knock on the door. He had been trying to put the cookies away but at the moment Chii and Fuu were fighting with each other trying to be the best cookie putter awayer. He found it all soo....frusteration and yet he was still happy they were being lead weights.
"M..Mom! I..got it!" He called out though it was too late and the red head moved to answer the door.
Jayoku knew Adriel was having a girl over, she was glad he was having friends over. Last time...was ...not a good senario. And thus she intended to at least watch over them for a while to make sure nothing ...innapropriate happened.
Pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose she paused and then opened the door smiling. It faltered slightly as she spotted maroon skin and three eyes. Oh...dear...it was another wrath child. What was with Adriel and children like this?
"Ah hello there." She greeted, "I am Adriel's mother. You must me Mareike?"

Mareike nodded and held out the potted cactus to the woman " Thank you for having me over and letting me visit Adriel." Right, thanks for giving me the right to see my friend and here's a spiky plant in return. Nickle asked her to say the stupidest things.

A bit surprised as the potted cactus was pushed in her direction she accepted the 'gift' with a nod/
"Ah..yes, a pleasure to have you over...Adriel is in the kitchen..." She started but the teen was already moving out of the kitchen and away from the cookies as his tentacles has decided an icing war was the only way to determine who got to put the cookies away. Now smeared with various shades of red, white, green and blue icing he was holding two canisters in his hands above his head to get them away from Chii and Fuu.
"Ah..I told you two to stop! If you can't behave I won't let you near Mareike!" He snapped at them both as they started to wrap around his arms and wrestle with him. Apparantly all this laying around had built up a lot of energy in the pair. At the moment Adriel hadn't noticed Mareike yet.

" Behave or else " Mareike growled softly and spread her wings intimidatingly as she walked into the house. The tentacles had usually listened to her before and she certainly expected them too now. Thought it was a bit hard for the girl to maintain a stern appearance considering the sight of Adriel and the icing covered tentacles.
" You've gotten bigger and they're still winning" The girl teased, noticing that once again her friend seemed to be aging faster than she could keep up with.

Adriel turned his gaze as he heard Mareike his tentacles froze at her words. Then abandoning the icing they reached forward happily. Eager to give Mareike a hug, like they hadn't seen her in ages!
"GAK!" Adriel coughed as they reached earnestly forward, he then took a couple steps back.
"No! Stop that! you will get her pretty dress all dirty! Your still covered in icing!" he snapped at the pair though they ignored him as usually still reaching forward as much as they were able.
"Ah....hehe..yah...well...lately they...havnt had a lot of energy...its like it all built up to today.." He explained as his brown eyes looked over the girl. Wow...she had grown. And in more ways than one. His face went bright pink. NO no nonono! He shouldn't be thinking of things like that! She was his friend!
"..y..ouve gotten bigger as well." He murmured faintly as he then took another step back.
"I said stop! Come on if i get you washed off MAYBE Mareike will let you two hug her."

This time giggles did escape the girl and she brought her wings down to wrap around her body. " No hugs till you're clean" she agreed. No way she was getting in trouble for getting the damned dress dirty. She still didn't see why she couldn't just wear a nice shirt and shirt combination. It was ok to look like a girl but she didn't have to look like a priss.
Not wanting to wait to tell her friend the big if not pleasant news Mareike blurted it out. " Penny's getting a kid from the facility for herself." The words were a grumbled sigh. Sure she had agreed to him them a chance but the longer it took the more her mind thought up all the reasons it was going to be horrible not to be an only child.

It took a moment for Adriel to register who Penny was, when it clicked his eyes widened a bit as he then lowered his arms the container of icing still in his hands.
"O..oh? H..how ..do you fee.l about that?" He inquired as he himself wasn't too sure how he would react to suddenly having a sibling. He moved towards the kitchen gesturing for Mareike to follow as he needed his tentacles to get clean.
They were listening almost dragging him to the kitchen themselves reaching the sink and promptly turned on the facet and grabbed the soap and began to clean themselves. apparantly they really wanted to give Mareike a hug.
"I don't know ...how i would react to getting a little brother or sister..." He stated honestly almost smiling at the antics of his tentacles as they now faught over the bar of soap.

Mareike just sighed." Nickle and Penny were mine first and they promised to not treat us different but I know it's gonna happen. This one's probably gonna be like you all good and nice and then I'll be the bad kid.. the older sister who doesn't love her brother or sister and everyone will think I'm horrid." The girl ruffled her crimson stained wings in agitation. " I'm not you know, and I promised to give them a chance becuase we're all related sort of coming from that place. I just I'm not sure what's gonna happen."
Fear plain and simple, fear of replacement and of the unknown had gripped the young girl tightly. Fear of losing what was hers, her things, friends and identity. For a girl now edging into puberty and dealing with a brand new set of hormonal issues it was a bit much.
All three of her eyes watched Adriel and his tentacles in their attempt to get clean without making a bigger mess

Adriel paused as he was cleaning up his gaze looking at Mareike a bit surprised. For some reason it had never occured to him that Mareike would think herself the bad kid. Of course he liked her...so he never really noticed the possibility.
"...I...I don't think your a bad person..your a lot of fun...and strong willed....I am sure they won't think things like that..about you." He murmured in reply as he returned his gaze back to his tentacles who were now finally clean. Turning off the focet he then went to grab the drying towel from Chii and Fuu who were already bickering with it.
Yanking it from the two he then went about to dry them both off before drying his own hands, only to have himself perpectually yanked in Mareike's direction as both Chii and Fuu went to go retrieve the hugs they so deserved.
Like a pair of puppies so happy to see her they wrapped themselves around her happily, which unfortunately (or fortunately) Squished Adriel against her. His face went pink again, as he gave her an apologetic smile.

Mareike had been pleased that Adriel thought she was a good person, after all the girl knew she wasn't evil, part demon or not. She just had a certain way of looking at the world. Before she had a chance to reply though she was attacked by the tentacles.
Wrapped up in them and pressed against her friends chest the girl rolled her eyes and sighed softly." I missed you guys too but your squishing me me and it hurts a bit." there was a slight sound of agitation in her voice. Stupid breasts , they were the only part of her body that appeared to be unaffected by her natural hardiness and resistance to pain.The girl was really beggining to hate them.

Adriel hadn't really noticed before but now pressed up against her he could cerianly feel her boobs squished against his own chest. His face flushed even more and then he nodded his head in agreement with her words.
"C...chii...F..fuuu...let ..g..go o...okay?" He requested as he knew demanding them to would appeal to nothing.
Now weither or not they were responding to Adriel's request...or Mareike's complaint no one would ever know. But both Chii and Fuu released Mareike from their grasp almost instantanously.
Chii then went to but its 'head' against her hand while Fuu went to stroke her cheek in an adoring fashion.
"..T..They re..really missed you..." He murmured as he hadn't seen them do that to many others.

Mareike blinked a few times in confusion as she got used to the attention before petting Chii. She fluttered her wings in amusement. " I missed them too , though I imagine they've been up to know good since they don't listen to you much." She teased. Really if she had tentacles they'd listen, she'd make sure of it.
" I missed you too, you never come to tennis anymore and I don't have anyone to sneak around the facility with and stuff." Mareike frowned, she certainly had other friends now but it wasn't the same. Adriel was her partner in lesson ditching and facility sneaking crime. he was her first friend.

Adriel nodded his head a bit in embaressment he then looked tot he floor before moving to look at something random on the shelf.
"Uh..yeah....well I havnt been feeling good lately...actually Chii and fuu just recently started feeling better.." He explained though he was too embarrassed and ashamed to say that he wasn't really sick..just dealing with lusts effects.
"But I am glad you are here now, and OH you don't have to worry...I am..no contagious." he hurriedly added before he turned and awkwardly grabbed a cookie for Mareike and offered it shly too her.
Fuu noticed the cookie first and retreated from stroking her cheek to go grab it and offer it in Adriel's sted. Chii...however had moved from being petted and was now trying to lift her dress hem.
"Ah...! Fuu! Stop that!" Adriel cried out abashed.
