User ImageOk i kno some of you want to get alot of orbs to get to CL10.0 so heres a list of places you can go for orbs. (plz note the CL recommendation for that area)

1. Village Greens: A simple place, lots of gnomes and flamingos, mixed in with heavy hitting cannons and peaceful fluffs. A great place for beginners! [CL recommended: 1.0-1.9]
Enemies:
Gnomes (regular, majors, ect)
Flamingos
Fluffs
Mushroom Cannons
Boss: Gnome General
Strategy: Simple! Attack the gnomes for a bit. since they usually attack in groups. Attacking Flamingos are optional if you get bored. Crews should attack spawning spots, such as where the Major Gnomes.

==================================
2. Bills Ranch: Ok! So you've beaten the Gnome General and you think you can take on the next area with easy right? Wrong This place has a lil tougher enemies.[CL recommended: 2.0-3.0]
Enimies:
Air Fluffs
Alarmskeeters
Garlic
Stratergy: So these guys are a lil tougher than the gnomes but not THAT tough. The garlic and the skeeters are your biggest threat since they can hit hard. Its recommended that you stay with fluffs and garlic for a bit b4 goin up against them.

Bills Ranch...

From here you go into dead Mans Pass: There are a number of baddies to kill in there, and it will take a crew. Be sure to go all the way in before climbing the stairs, there is a create to open. work the pass out before moving on to the gardens. ninja

I read on a good guide forum that the gravestones correspond to the eight notes in a scale. If you play the scale and the seven songs you learn about from the maestro quests you will get a virtuoso badge. Playing one song gets you a badge as well. Since Zen Gardens would be next in line on here I'll comment on that a bit. A doll farming spot that is good is all the way to the east one screen below the weird square shaped topiary. It is where three paths converge and there will always be dolls scurrying past very often. It is also much less crowded than the area just south of the null crystal. Drums can be tough to take down depending on your CL so stick with the ones by the bell and the ones south of that since the ones above those screens are tougher and travel in larger groups. However if they are no problem then a good loop is from one screen below the bell all the way over to the northeastern corner of the map where the basket is. The pink fluffs are troublesome as they explode and deal out hefty damage to an area around them after being attacked. The problem is that this will often cause surrounding fluffs to explode at you as well. So if you are strong enough dervish is a good option since you will get loot only if you have struck a pink fluff before it explodes. Having lots of healing available or just farming with a crew is a good idea as well. Finally, at night the pink fluffs become ghost lanterns (or at least they spawn in the same spots). They can be tricky since I noticed that when you are low CL they are harder to hit. Basically the dervish ring or any other AoE ring can be a useful tool since they often cluster together. You can run out of stamina fast due to their frequent respawning so bring a crew to hunt them.

Bass'ken Lake:

The mosters are Grass Fluffs, Carrion Fluffs, Mother Fluff Guards, Mother Fluff, Flying Giftboxes, Ringboxes, Mama Saw, Papa Saw, Buzz Saws, Outlaw Pups, Outlaw Wolves, and She Wolf.

One of the best places to farm is the south part of the forest, below the Ole Fishing Hole. The recommended CL here in this area of Bass'ken Lake is 4.2 to 4.7. This area includes Outlaw Pups, Outlaw Wolves, Mother FLuff Guards, and Grass Fluffs.

The northern area of Bass'ken Lake includes Buzz Saws, Grass Fluffs, Mama Saw, and Papa Saw. I recommend being at least 4.4 to 5.0 to farm here. Buzz Saws drop good loot. ;D

Finally, the windmill: At the right time, this is the most dangerous part of the Lake area. Flying Giftboxes and Ringboxes spawn here, and you should be 4.8 upto maybe 6.0 to wander around here aimlessly... If you are below 5.8, and you see that insignia that marks that there is a group of enemies on the next screeen that is yellow or red, beware!

One good tip, when venturing into any of these areas for the first time stick to the paths. most of the monsters are off the paths. However, I have noticed considerably more in the mornings when there are less people around.

just found out that its a monumental wast of time trying to farm gift boxes.

I'm at cl5.2 and could not hit one fast enough - long enough to kill it. When the crew I was with finnaly did manage to kill some, they got nothing. crying

not really a new location in orb farming but useful tips

1.its good to have someone with the angelic set of rings for more drops
2.if your cl is too high for an area you wont get anything from boxes
3.drop percentage is based on most damage delt if you cant do much join a crew
4.once your dazed you cant get any new drop of newly spawned monsters but if your crew kills the monsters that killed you you still may get a drop
5.area attacks are powerful yet laggy try not to spam it
6. be warned farming alot of monsters at a spawn will get extreamly laggy
7.dmp is good farming till about cl 3.5ish
8.repeatable quests arnt always repeatable
9.sometimes its more productive to 1 hit ko gnomes than farm in baskin lake
10. expect no drop steaks and uber drop streaks

thoes are good things to keep in mind

A tip for deadman's pass. When you go to the gate, you can farm it endlessly if you leave before the OMGWTF shows up. By leaving the screen one the 5th wave (if you are alone) or the sixth wave if you are in a group it will cause the gate to reset back to the first wave. As long as you leave before the OMGWTF shows up you can continue to farm the gate for as long as you want.

The sewers are a pretty good place for beginners too if you hunt the Gramsters. Plus, the goo they occasionally leave behind is a quest item.

The Otami Ruins are accessible from Gold Beach. Upon entering from the Lake, go all the way to the left of the beach then up a few screens. The entrance will be on the left. If you're coming from the crystal then follow the footpath for 2 screens and then head left.
