Don't you hate how parents always find a way not to keep their promises?
Ok, so story time,
First of all, I admit it, I did something I shouldn't have, but I'm really glad I did. Long story short I took a secret trip out of town and didn't tell my parents. So there was a man involved, and my mom found out that there was someone I was "interested in" and she kept pestering me to tell her who it was... I didn't give in. I was like, no mom, you'll be mad. So she promised that as long as he wasn't married, or in Jail, and didn't have AIDS. He isn't and doesnt. So finally I told her. She keeps her cool, and tells my stepdad, and gets him mad FOR HER. So now they're all like "well if you can find your way down there you can find your own way back home" so they're basically refusing to pick me up from campus for christmas... They're telling me to take the city bus and then walk, but I can't fit enough clothes for 3 weeks on a city bus... plus the closest bus stop to our house is about 5 miles away...
I live about 20 minutes from their house, and it's on my mom's way home from work.
I think i'll just tell them that if they don't want me home for christmas, I'll just go find somewhere where I AM wanted.
