She'd smile sweetly and nod and thank them for watching the show and their compliments, but mostly, she was left alone. The young dancer turned down a tree lined path, wondering how much longer she'd really be able to do this sort of thing, before it became out of the question to go out.

As she walked, she did a few turns on the path, laughing at how dumb she was sometimes.

He had thrown on a bacl Trans Am hoodie, with the firebird outlined in yellow, and was ready to finally get out. The chill had been a little bad lately, but nothing he couldnt deal with..as long as he had his hoodie.
He stepped out of his car, which happened to be a black cobalt which, he thought was quite a sexy car.

The gravel of the parking lot crunched under his tennis shoes as he walked over the curb, to get to the grass which led to the nice little paths that had been paved.
He liked walking.It was enjoyable.
It gave him time to relax, and just be himself.

His hair wasloose around his face as he hadnt hairsprayed itor gelled it at all. So the brown locks were touchable and soft looking.

Like Riley, people stopped him every so often, mostly older women who watched the soap opera. But, he would smilenicely, sign an autograph, takethe occasionalpicture and leave.

Today was going to be a good day.

Aubrey was sitting on a swing, something he hadn't done in quite some time. His legs trailed the ground, as the playground equipment was intended for children and he, while not the tallest guy around, was definitely not a child.

He stretched back, rolling his shoulders before pulling himself to his feet. His dark shoes contrasted with the sand despite having gathered quite a bit of dust in the day's venture. He'd have to shine them again later but it wasn't as if he had much to do. Perhaps study lines from that play he was thinking about joining. Oh, he was excited about that. One of the greatest plays ever written in his opinion.

The devoted Thespian smiled as he thought back on part he already knew-- the ending monologue. "... If we have unearned luck now to 'scape the serpent's tongue, we shall make amends ere long." The rhythm matched his footsteps and Bri found himself walking in an almost spritely fashion, only half-paying attention to everything around him. It was because of this that he almost ran into a rather pretty young woman who was about his height.

He grinned sheepishly and nodded to her. "Sorry about that. I'm a terribly klutz and afraid I was also lost in my own thoughts." She looked somewhat familiar. Now, where had he seen her?

"Else the puck a liar call," Riley continued, hearing the young man repeating lines, although hers was done significantly more poorly. She really was a terrible actress, although her memory was sharp (it had to be, to remember complicated routines, she supposed)

"A Midsummer Nights Dream, that's a great play," she said.

She laughed. "It's no problem, I'm as much to blame, I was just as lost in thought as you."

Oz was paying about as much attention as the other two, and watched his feet as he walked, hands in the front of the black hoodie.

He noticed he was about to colide with the pair, and stopped himself abruptly, eyes wide as he looked apologetic.

"Oh God, sorry guys. I didnt mean to interrupt."

But she looked familiar..

"Have I seen you somewhere before?"
He swore he had.. He didnt normally forget a face.
But wow did that sound awful.

"I swear, Im serious and that was no pick up line." He said smiling.

His grin transformed to one a bit less awkward in appreciation of the recognition. "It is. I'm going to audition for a part ere long." Bri studied her face, trying to recall just where they'd passed before. She certainly didn't have 'one of those faces' that was commonly found. No, she was a touch more exotic.

As he was about to speak, someone else stepped in-- quite literally. A dark haired young man with a very... sensual... aura. He pushed back his own very brown hair and turned to the young lady, glad someone had asked the question.

Riley giggled a bit. "Well, I hope you get the part then! I'm sure you'd do wonderfully." She had studied some Shakespeare plays in her high school literature class, and while everyone else complained about how confusing it was, she had enjoyed the richness of the words and the complexity.

She turned to the othe man, and studied him for a moment. She thought he looked like the man she briefly had spoken to in a cafe...and also, at the Walk of Fame's recent party. So he must be a...something too.

"I'm with the Walk of Fame agency," She said, smiling politely at Oz. "So perhaps you've seen me around there? I'm often in the studios, dancing."

She laughed a little at his apparent embarressment at thinking he was trying a pick up line. "No worries, I'm not that easy to pick up, anyway," she said, winking at him. This was no doubt the same man she had met at the cafe!

He smiled, holding out his hand to the male and speaking.
"Hey man,Oz, Oz parker."

He then looked to Riley again and a look of recognition sparked in his eyes and he smiled wider.
"Aha! So I do know you. That makes me feel less likea moron."
He said nodding.

He had just wandered right into their conversation..God he hoped he wasnt interrupting.

"I, too, am with Walk of Fame. The Soap Opera Turn of a Century, and a few little movie roles."
Hesaid with a shrug not wanting to come off as smug.

Bri thought to himself with amusement that the other man would make quite the Oberon as far personality. "Aubrey Dyer-- stage hand. Glad to know I'm not the only one wondering where we've all seen one another." He stuck out his right hand and gave the man a firm shake.

The girl was a dancer? Well, she certainly had a lithe form. She would be a Hermia, with her height, colouring, and obvious beauty. "And your name, fair maiden?"

He certainly had a flair for the dramatic. It was probably a good thing he was going into the acting business.

"I'm Riley," she said. "Riley Daima." As long as one of them was already talking about his roles... "I was recently on Stars and Starlettes," she said. "Dancing with Zip Afron." She shrugged. "That's all, though, really. I haven't gotten around to doing anything else yet."

She shook her head. "I don't think I've ever really watched that. Soap Opera's aren't my thing," they were so...over-dramatic. She had a hard time stomaching them. "I've heard of it, though. Is it fun to be in a reoccuring role?"

Oz couldnt help but smile at Aubrey and shake his head.
"Its a pleasure to meet you Aubrey."
He said with a nod of his head.

Then he looked to Riley.
"You could say its fun.Its definately neat to have people watch the show because youre in it..Almost like watching amovie cause your fave actor is in it. Its pretty cool."
He held out his hand to her as well.
"Itsgood to see you again."

"So you two are already budding stars." He was just starting out, hoping to play his part and perhaps get a career going, but he doubted he would ever be a star. Unlike the pair of them. It wasn't pessimism, just reality. Stage actors weren't the heroes of society in this day and age, but he couldn't help his passion for it. And wouldn't even if he could.

"And, please, call me Bri. To you also, Riley."

Riley shook Oz's hand and nodded. "It's nice to see you again too," she said, although she couldn't really remember having really met him before, just saw him here and there. Ah well.

"Yup, just starting out," she said, answering Bri. "I'm always looking for new opportunities, though." She laughed at glanced at Oz. "You wouldn't happend to need a silent ballerina on your show, would you?" she asked, in a joking voice.

That would probably be one of the most ridiculous things ever.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 04, 2008 2:49 pm

"Alright Bri," He said with a smile and nod. Then he looked back at Riley.

"Silent Ballerina?"
He laughed and his teeth were pearly and white.
"We could always use pretty people on the show, though, the plot twist with a Mime ballerina would be a bit odd Im sure.."

He said, smiling.
That would be rather funny..Maybe in a hideous, OMG, I cant believe they did that way, but still funny.

"I'm sure someone could work it in." He grinned and watched the two interact for a moment, hands going to his pockets. In Bri's mind came a situation in which it would work-- a young mute woman, someone's sister, who expressed herself through dance alone. It would be vaguely interesting, he supposed. The sort of thing women would eat up. He imagined the willowy dancer, perhaps the outcast of the family, silently pleading with Oz's character. An old flame, maybe?

He blinked slowly, pulling himself from his thoughts. "So, where are the two of you headed this sunny afternoon?"
