Adriel was in the mall, watching as people went to and fro like little ants with too many things to do and not enough arms to carry everything. He found it interesting the craziness of Christmas. Though today he was gentle pushing his tentacles away as they tried to meakly reach out to touch anyone within reach.
Since he was running out of his medication he found that they were slowly comeing back alive. It was good to know they were perminantly lethargic . Though he smiled inwardly as he had to catch hold of one tentacle...Chii...as if tried to lift up a girls skirt. He was shot a nasty look but he only smiled back and moved towards the mall water fountian. Though was surprised to find that there was a huge display set up there...and a huge line up. Kids....and...Santa? He found the idea of a large man dressed in red a bit disturbing...

"Don't you want to sit on Santa's lap?" The woman dressed as an elf giggled nervously, leaning over the green girl as she absently licked at a false icicle she'd snapped off of the display, glancing past the woman to study the man in the large red suit, currently talking to a small [and very human] child.
"Why?" Lori questioned, turning to fix her gaze back on the woman with a small smile. "He looks kind of scary," she admitted, head tilting to the side as she snapped off a piece of plastic to crunch it between her teeth. The woman winced and paled before laughing.
"Ahaha... Well! T-then run along to your parents, okay? B-buh bye! Merry Christmas!"
"What's a Christmas?" Lori mumbled before turning to wade through the crowd, blinking into the distance before grinning and hopping down. There was a boy with thingies, like Adhi's! The girl almost bounced her way through the shoppers to the stranger, wings fluttering as she lifted her gaze.
"Hi~ You're from the white place, too, right? You have thingies like Adhi had," she reasoned, indicating the tentacles in question, visible blue eye lighting up slightly as she reached to touch one with the hand not holding her stolen treat. "That's cool," she continued, studying the boy curiously now that she was closer.
He was pretty, she decided, rocking back onto her heels and absently lowering her hand - only to give a soft, disgruntled yelp as the tongue of her stomach's mouth reached out to wrap around the end of the icicle. "H-hey..! Gimme," she hissed, tugging at it slightly and releasing a soft growl. "..stupid.. Fine!" She huffed, releasing the clear plastic to let the demanding orifice close around it with a soft, happy gurgle.

Adriel looked down at the girl who had stopped to speak with him, he blinked a couple of times, it was his first encounter with a gluttony that had a mouth on their stomach. It was also the first time that the Seven of Seven facility had been referred to as the 'white place', he supposed it made sense though.
He found it strangely comforting that the girl also knew Adhara, his face still went a shade of pink as he recalled their first meeting. His tentacles had reached out to give Lori attention and then seemed to recoil when the tongue came out of the mouth. As if afriad they too would get eaten.
Feeling embarrassed that his tentacles were treating this girl differently he knelt down and offered her a smile.
"M..Mine name is Adriel...and if you want I can..get you something better than what you had as a treat...i..if you dont mind." He offered as she had sounded rather annoyed at her stomach stealing her 'treat' of sorts.

"It's okay, Adriel," she repeated, turning her attention from the tentacles to smile brightly at their owner. "Unless you really want to?" She pondered, tilting her head thoughtfully. She couldn't stop him if he really wanted to.
"Ah... Don't worry about this," she prompted after a moment, patting a hand over her second mouth before pointing to one of the purple appendages. "They're a part of you, right? So I won't let it eat them." She smiled, rocking back onto her heels. "Besides. They'd squirm too much," she added as an after thought before pausing.
"Ah! Do you know what a Christmas is? The lady in green told me to have a merry one, but..."

Adriel felt rather embarrassed she had noticed his appendages recoil against her mouth. Though was happy to see both Chii and Fuu...hesitate and then reach forward to tickle her face and stroke her ears.
"Ahaha..." he laughed though she sounded a bit too serious about the wriggling part.
"Ah...Christmas? Well...I think it is to celebrate the birth of someone...really important.." He murmured as he desperately tried to remember the meaning of christmas he read in a children's book in a store.
He stood up and offered her his hand. "Why don't we get you a gingerbread cookie?" He offered as he noticed a bakery not too far away.

The girl giggled softly as the purple extensions tickled at her face, ears twitching slightly as they were touched. Her face split into a wide grin as she peered up at the older boy before pausing at the bit of new information. "The birth of someone important?" She repeated slowly, frowning and looking away to tap her lip.
"They must be really special for people to go through all of this," she decided, nodding and glancing at his hand before reaching to take it with her own with another bright smile. She didn't know what gingerbread was, but cookie was a familiar word to her - cookies were generally sweet, soft and delicious.
"Thank you very much, Adriel," she replied to the offer after remembering her manners, grabbing the edge of her skirt with her free hand to curtsy clumsily, wings flaring out slightly to help her keep balance.

She was a very cute girl, the boy smiled as he offered his hand, batting away Chii who eagerly offered itself to the girl to hold.
"Behave Chii..." He murmured softly and the limb although looking a bit dejected conceded and went about to bug Fuu.
"There is a shop nearby..a bakery...I hope you like gingerbread. Have you had them before?" He inquired politely. He knew people were looking t him...he felt that uneasiness fill him...did people think he was going to do something bad to her?

"No, never. Is it good?" She mused, ignoring the curious stares of onlookers and gripping his hand tightly as they moved through the crowded mall. "It must be good, if it's part of Christmas," she mused, nodding slowly. "Since everything smells so good."
Another pause and she moved to carefully touch one of the tentacles with her free hand before pausing a few breaths from the purple appendage. "Your tentacles are more touchy than Adhara's were," she noted with a faint smile. "They kind of tickle - one of hers wouldn't come near me at all," she reminisced, head tilting thoughtfully. It had been afraid of her belly mouth, too.

Adriel looked at her a moment finding her curiousness about his tentacles very..cute. She wasn't afraid of them and the comparison made him look a bit ...perverted. His face blushed slightly and he rubbed the back of his head with his free hand.
"Ah..yeah...they tend to ..um..enjoy contact with people." He responded though that was the nice way of putting it. Contact was really just frisking people up.
"I think you will really enjoy the cookies. " He continued as he then started moving towards the bakery slowly.
"Uh...where are your parents?" he asked suddenly realizing he must look like some weird guy kidnapping a child.
