On the mainland, just a two day walk from the shore that faces the Safari's island, is a valley. From shore to valley is a narrow dirt road, almost as if it was a pokepony trail that humans had used often at some point. It winds through the landscape, leading to a pass between mountains and into the valley. The trail then continues on to a pokepony ranch that fills most of the valley.
Right now the ranch consists of a ranch house, tool shed, storage room, two stables, two pastures, vegetable and fruit gardens, a small orchard and berry bush thicket and pond. Though the valley is large enough to extend just about any area of the ranch.
As you follow the path you see the house, gardens, orchard and berry thicket first. The path leads right to the front porch of the house. Inside the ground floor contains a living room, study or office type room, bathroom, kitchen and dining room. The second story consists of four bedrooms and a bathroom. In the study is a computer, which holds the storage box for Yaneci's pokeponies.
If you follow the path as it curves around the house you'll see the gardens, orchard and berry thicket on one side. Around the gardens are stone walls, built around knee height. The orchard and berry thicket have no walls or fences.
Following the path to the other side leads to open land.

Out behind the ranch house, just a few yards past the tool sheds, are two stables. The right one, as you look at them, has a sign over the large double doors that reads "Female Stable". As you step inside you see the front holds a grooming and washing area and tack room. Beyond that are the stalls, each one roughly 10 feet by 10 feet square. The stalls line both sides of the stable, with a broad aisle between them. There are twenty stalls, ten on each side of the aisle.
When you walk past the stalls to the back you see another set of huge double doors leading to a covered yard. At the back of the fence for the yard is a gate that leads out to the female pasture. The pasture is fenced in, except where the pond separates the male pasture from the female pasture. The last third of the pasture is all woods. Trees grow in thick patches, but most of it is a smattering of trees and bushes.
Aside from the female ponies, there are a few genderless ponies who stay here as well.

Between the two stables is a large bulletin board. Across the top is the title "Breeders Board", and under that are lists of all the ponies Yaneci has who can breed. Under the lists blank paper is tack pinned up for any who wish to make a match between their pony and Yaneci's to leave their name, pony kind, pony type, pony gender and pony egg group.

Yaneci drops the rag into the bucket of water, leans back to sit on her feet and sighs. "I think the house is as clean as I can get it tonight." She says to herself.
After bartering a rowboat off someone in the town on the Safari's island she'd found the beach, and path, that led to this abandoned ranch. Sense then Yaneci has spent the past twelve hours cleaning. She, and her ponies, cleaned most of one stable, and most of the house.
Now her ponies were either resting in their pokeballs, in the stable or in the house. With another sigh Yaneci stands, stretching sore muscles. When she's done she walks into the living room, there on the couch Gaara and Cheshire are sprawled. Melu and Jade are playing with Yaneci's marbles on the floor. "How on Earth do you still have energy?" Yaneci asks, both ponies look up at her and giggle.

Yaneci goes back into the halls, grabbing up the bucket of water. Taking it into the kitchen she dumps it down the sink, then sets the bucket in the sink. Going back into the living room Yaneci announces bed time. "Alright you four it's bed time. Sleep here if you want, but I plan to sleep in a bed tonight." After saying that Yaneci heads upstairs, walking into the first bedroom. Quickly she changes and climbs into bed. "Ahh, very comfortable.. better then grass and dirt." Yaneci has barley closed her eyes when she feels two thumps on the bed. Opening an eye she sees the forms of Cheshire and Melu on the bed, and Jade hovering over the bed. "Alright, c'mon then." Yaneci scoots over, making room for the three ponies. Cheshire curls up at Yaneci's back, Melu and Jade snuggling close to Yaneci. Soon trainer and ponies are asleep.

Yaneci closes the last stall door in the male stable. Leaning against it with a sigh she looks around. "Finally, took almost two full days, but it's all clean.. tomorrow I start looking for what needs to be patched up." Mostly she was thinking out loud to herself, but Melu and Jade were sitting beside Yaneci, nodding their heads.

Yaneci shakes her head and blinks. "...I've gotta stop spacing out.." She Walks out of the stable and back to the house. Once inside she goes into the kitchen and takes some bowls out of the cupboard. Next she grabs a bag of pokefood and fills each bowl, then sets them on the floor. "Dinner guys." Melu, Gaara, Cheshire and Jade come into the kitchen and each pick a bowl to eat from.

After feeding her ponies Yaneci goes up to her room and crawls into bed. Not long after that Jade and Melu jump onto the bed and snuggle beside Yaneci.

Yaneci sighs contentedly, soaking in a tub of hot water. After waking this morning and feeding her ponies, she'd spent half the day cataloging all that needed to be fixed on the ranch.
Out in the pasture Dash ran around, enjoying being out of storage.

Yaneci had just gotten dressed when Kaelas came into the room. "Kaelas, what are ya doing here? Your sorta too big to be in the house.." Kaelas just snorts, then goes about sniffing around the room. After a few minutes Yaneci sighs and lay down on the bed.

It had taken her nearly two and half days to get there, but Kasumi finally managed to make it to Yaneci's Ranch. She had heard through the grapevine Yaneci had already settled it, so she figured she'd come pay her a visit. She walked up the winding dirt road to the front porch, and knocked loudly on the door.
