Judith is a very nervous and self conscious child. She doesn't really understand what's expected of her but she is aware that she is often disappointing Ethel. This makes her determined to do better next time though over time she begins to doubt herself and her worth since she never seems to get things right. A small determined spark remains alive in Judith though urging her to keep trying harder becuase maybe.. maybe if she does things right Ethel will love her.

Both Ethel's experiments and Judith's punishments when she fails to meet certain expectations are strictly timed and Judith will come to hate the sight and sound of any time keeping device . Even after leaving Ethel's care Judith will still become agitated or scared when any type of time restraint is present to her.

The girl is awkward socially having been raised initially around adults who treated her less as a person than as a subject. When she is finally able to meet others near her age she will not at the start have much clue as to what is and isn't socially acceptable never mind how to really go about playing with them.


Then there is Jude he is an alternate personality residing within Judith, whether he existed but was silent previous to he experiments performed on her or was formed as a way to remove herself from the worst of the trauma is unknown. Either way Jude appears when Judith can no
longer handle a situation. Though at the beginning he is much less a solid personality than an excess of strength and encouragement a sort of urge to say different words and take different actions. Judith does not black out during his appearances but instead watches as he controls the situation. Jude will become a more solid and distinct as Judith grows.

Ethel Morrison:
Ethel is a forty year old human woman and native of Gaia. She is a Physiologist who spent most of her time testing the ability of her subjects to endure various circumstances that stressed their bodies in unnatural ways. Cast off from the general scientific community years ago for her less than humane treatment of her subjects Ethel works in a secret lab located under her home.

Always curious about the strange types of children that pop up mysteriously on Gaia Ethel has studied several of them in the past and has her sights set on a child from Dr. Akari's cabbage patch. Using an associate to procure the cabbage for her Ethel has great plans in store for her studies of this one.
