 _____________________________________ Half Life 2 offers a very neat arsenal of guns, melee weapons, and even other things ranging from gravity bending devices and alien guts. Which is your favorite?_____________________________________ Personally, I found myself using the shotgun a lot after obtaining it from Father Grigori. I guess I'm just really partial to shotguns--they rock!

Screw the pistol, the magnum is the real win here. A compact gun with such POWER!
The super charged Gravity Gun would be my second choice though.

A lot of the weapons they took out of the game were pretty cool. Like The OICW.

It was a very close call between Gravity Gun and Crowbar for me. I chose gravity gun for Half Life 2 since it was fun to use and you couldn't use the crowbar to make people turn into goop after they died like Half Life.

I also love the crossbow. Reasons? Because it's your sniper rifle, just with a melting hot steel rod that can stick enemies into stuff and kill them with one shot! It's AWESOME! Sadly, it's not used much in-game...

I would say crossbow, but as InsaneFatality said, its not used much. So I will go with classic shotgun. It may seem boring, but it really got me through those headcrab zombie areas biggrin

In DM I use the gravity gun and grenades a lot, but the rocket launcher probably takes the cake in when it comes to DM.

Mine is the rocket launcher. I love seeing all the ragdoll bodies fly all over the place. I love it more when i use consol cheats to up the amo to 999999. ;o yes i love the console, infact, that is my greatest weapon!!!

If you can naturally get the stun-stick from a Metro police officer without using G-mod, then that's my number one... My #1 without it, though, is the crossbow...

Super balling is a cool technique you can use in deathmatch. Since your weapons switch faster, get an AR2 and use the secondary fire combine ball, and as you're shooting it, hotkey your gravity gun and fire. The combine ball will go really freaking fast. It's hilarious, I've killed like five people at once with it.
Sometimes you get banned for 'hacking' though.

The pulse rifle is a lot of fun just because it's so powerful against regular enemies, plus the secondary fire is a blast. If only you could carry more reserve ammo though...
