Are there any items that seem to be equipped on your current avatars more often than not, whether they're your priciest items or simply commons? Any items you find that you almost always use them TekTeking others? Have any opinions as to what items you think should be in every Gaian's wardrobe? Post 'em here!
For me, personally... As far as "expensive items" go, my Golden Laurels are almost always in my avatars... if not always. It will probably stay that way unless I decide to "trade in" my laurels for another "expensive item" I love [Ninja Band, possibly...]. My Penguin Slippers are in most of my avatars too. Sometimes I trade them in for Seal Slippers. I figure, if I'm going to have an item that pricey in my inventory, I'd definitely prefer that it be equipped.
Expensive, but significantly less expensive items that I love to use are:
-- Demonic Anklets
-- Biancamella
-- Dark Halo
-- Oculus Magica
-- OMFG

Now-a-days i seem to change quite often and when I'm bored, more than 3 times a day. xd
but before that, I stick to my avi for quite some time. For more than a week usually.
My last fave avi I had before I started changing almost everyday was my favorite but i couldn't revert back into it because:
1. I used one of the urn's evolving glitches and when it evolved, i used another one to make it look like i have two urns xd
2. lol, evolving glitches again, actually it was my favorite pose of deathwhisper. the eyes.
3. Even a part of the look i had i couldn't get back into because gaia still haven't fixed the problem with the poses being not available in the 1st gen of the urn.
and as for items I simply wear mostly, my tats the black star shape tat and the bat wing tat. they may not always show but they're usually there. biggrin
one of my favorite things to wear is my urn. tho i think my most expensive item is my goti clips xd

I'm poor so it takes me a long time to save up for the items I really like. My avatar usually gets changed little by little.
Favorite cheap staple items:
-Spiderwick Sprite (SUPER cheap but totally awesome in my opinion)
- Gold pocketwatch (I actaully sold mine to buy my complex shirt... =[ )
- Newsprint Stars (Idk why, I just like them)
- Star Hairpin
I also LOVE striped stockings and legwarmers, but my avie is a Victorian and she much wear a long skirt ^_^

Back in 2006 my really close buddy created a Charity Guild called the Red Star Charity [all communism implications completely accidental :blush: ] & she appointed me her Vice Captain. We decided to give out Newsprint Stars to every single person who joined the guild blaugh
The Gold Pocketwatch is also an AWESOME item, I think. I nearly always add it to my avatar, it's like my avatar's "default accessory".
I'm a huge fan of the black & white striped stockings. I should have put those on my list. With most of the other striped stockings, they look kind of awkward to me. Although in TekTeks I feel that I use the red & white ones on other people's avatars quite often.
Legwarmers... totally one of the most classic, timeless commons of forever :3

I haven't had an avi in a while(At least a month) that hasn't had Apocaripped Broken Glasses, of any of the three colours.
I also like the Cigar.
And I've been using the Chained Pocket Watch a lot.

the item i always keep on my avi is my little buddy pantheracorax agate. i just like the way he looks. the sunglasses usually stay to but they vary a lot....

- long drag
- bandage
- ska wristband
- tribal head tattoo
- nitemare headband
- any kind of hat
- gloves
- white belt
- a jacket
- silver lighter
- snug leggings
yeah, it's a bit much. D;
but i just can't seem to make an avi without them.

I really love radient prism! It gos with everything and u can use it as anything, a background, a hat, a handheld. So useful! heart
Iteams that I always have on are my beloved head fins(the very 1st item I bought on gaia) and my immaculate bishop. The i-bishop is a great spellcaster staple. I'm ALWAYS wearing blue.Its my fave colour! 4laugh

@ Stomach: Well, regardless of the length of your "must-equip" list, you're clearly doing something very right, considering how totally awesome your avatar is! blaugh
I love the Long Drag too, by the way. It seems that one of my avatar's "hands" nearly always contains a Long Drag or a Gold Kiseru.
I also see the White Leather Belt as a wardrobe essential as well... as well as the Black Leather Belt and, albeit slightly less so, the Red Leather Belt. Skirts + Leather Belt = heart
I feel like the Nitemare Headband is an item I'd probably use all the freakin' time if it didn't totally clash with my greatly-preferred hairstyle [Black Pom-Pom].

@ Ichigo: Golden Laurels.... hecccck yeah! blaugh [I always got my Golden Laurels on, too. Always... I think .]
I totally dig the Angelic Bracelets, too. My avatar generally has on Black & Gold Oversized Bangles instead, though. It didn't even occur to me that Angelic Bracelets would work so well with all the gold jewelery my avatar generally has on until very recently, actually.
I've had to hold off on purchasing them, though; they seem to be going through some hardcore Artificial Inflation recently sad

An item I find myself using the most? Because a dear friend gave me one of each I try to use any of the following: Chyaku Norisu Scarf, Padmavati's Lotus, Elemental Wings, Elemental Hair or Pixie.
Coal Sprite also seems to be sneaking into what i come up with. I don't know why but I seem to love that evil little guy. heart
