not good for procrastinators or for people who go places at really wierd hours.

depends. Im a procrastinator. Ive procrastinated in getting a credit card. People tell me I need a good credit history but I just can't bring myself to jump headfirst into the claws of the capitalists.

I'm making car payments to build up credit.

its a good idea.
Although I hate the idea of going into debt. And I hate the idea that the whole system of financing is just a trick to get middle class people to participate in consumer culture. They've made it practically impossible to buy a nice car strait out. There are actually penalties if you pay off loans early. The almighty credit score scares everybody into participating. damn capitalists
