For some time now the Divinity compound had been quiet. No new arrivals had come and the employees seem to be more and more scarce. It would almost seem as if the sylphs and their guardians had been left to their own devices.
So it may have come as a bit of a surprise when the letter showed up in everyone's mail box. The letter that read as follows:
"Welcome to Divinity.
We would first like to thank you for coming to Divinity and helping us with our study of the sylphs.
Second we would like to request your presence at a meeting in the courtyard at 1pm. We will be relaying some important information. Guardians will only be required to be there for a breif information session, we will however be requiring the Sylphs for most of the afternoon.
We hope that you can attend and would like to again state that is information is fairly important.
Sincerely Divinity"
----
The part of the courtyard that had been chosen for the meeting was a nice spot, a few trees and and benches for anyone who wished to sit. The air was a little chilly but it other wise it was a nice day.
Nikita waited alone. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, in fact normally Nikita would be quite happy to be on his own, but there was growing nervousness over the impending meeting. People should be arriving soon and the others who were suppose to help him with the meeting were still no where to be found. He was going to have to talk to all the guardians himself and he really wasn't looking forward to it.
So he paced a little and fiddled with his sleeves, waiting for and dreading the coming of the guardians.

Gil had conned his father into piggybacking him to the meeting; the green haired boy was more than capable of walking he just didn't want to at the moment. It was just after lunch so full and content the boy was more than willing to come and see what the people he hadn't seen in forever wanted. Especially since it seemed like there was a chance Dorian would have to show up as well, and Tal.
Malen wasn't sure what to make of this, part of him was eager to better understand these children and divinity itself. On the other hand part of him was nervous, past experiences had taught him that not much good came from large gatherings like this. Still he needed to be here for Gil's sake even if only briefly. Thus the man carried his son into the courtyard and walked towards Nikita.

Shane had brought Erika to the courtyard after receiving the letter and saw that the place was eerily quiet, despite Erika's excited presence. Her hearing had turned out to be improving over the last little while, what with her brother's constant music making and her sign language lessons. She was starting to pick up clearer pronunciation of certain words but still preferred signing because of the trouble with her inner ear. Currently she continued to sign over and over again a single phrase.
'Why are we here?' she wondered excitedly.
"Erika, I haven't the slightest idea." Shane replied while sloppily signing 'I don't know', fussing over the current predicaments of his children. One had just finished disappearing off the face of the earth at a party, Pyren needed to get out more, and now he and Erika had been called to Divinity HQ after months of silence. "But there had better be a good reason...'please stop asking'."
For some reason, she did and Shane noticed the strange eager trance look in her eyes as she caught sight of a boy with green hair, which was amazing. She wondered how it got that way, and how much hair he had and what it could possibly taste like. With her amazing eyesight, she began to obsessively count all the strands of hair on the boys head as Shane gently began to lead her closer.

Dorian had both resented being dragged out and wished that he knew what was going on. He kept asking his guardian, Christian, just what was going on, what they were doing now, why did things smell tenser out here, but Christian couldn't answer the questions beyond a simple 'I don't know, Dori.' Which, of course, didn't please the boy. He walked into the Court Yard with Dorian tagging along behind, holding his hand.
Over the course of months that had left the guardians in Radio Silence, Dorian's sense of smell had gotten progressively stronger, but his sight had gotten progressively worse. This made the boy more and more upset, and so now in place of his previous pair of glasses, he had a much stronger prescription. Even those didn't seem to do him much good, because he clung to Christian's hand and tapped at the ground with his foot to make sure nothing was there before stepping down.
Soon, he'd be blind, and all the vibrant colors would only be memories and not vivid at all. But he had his sense of smell, and by now he could pick out and identify most scents after one or two meetings, as opposed to four, five, even six. So for now, he fought with his sight and relied more on his smell, which kept him away from the funny thing that smelled empty and cold (glass) and more towards the warm-loving scent of fire and books (Christian).
So being thrust into this new environment that wasn't really new, but smelled like someone had glossed it over with a thick stew of anxiety and apprehension, Dorian did what he did best: He clung. And Christian let him, murmuring encouragements as he wandered over to Nikita.

Janus walked slowly to the meeting place but he walked alone and he was none too happy about it. Luca was sick today, more so than normal and had insisted that he could not make it to the meeting despite Janus' urging him to come along and brandishing the letter.
'It says your required' Janus had told him.
'I can barely sit up, you'll just have to go yourself and tell me what happens,'
'Some guardian you are, telling me to go out on my own.'
'It's in the courtyard Jay, its in the same building, you'll be fine,' without another word, Luca rolled over and went back to sleep.
So Janus went all on his own, grumbling and kicking the ground the entire way to the designated meeting spot. There were people there already, none he knew however, save for Nikita, so his mood did not improve. He just stood there, hands shoved in his pockets and waited for this stupid meeting to be over with.

People started to come and gather and Nikita felt his anxiety growing so much worse, his stomach was pretty much tying itself in knots. He pulled a watch from his pocket and looked at the time, confirming what he had feared, it was one and time to start the meeting. He put the watch back in his pocket and cast a bit of a desperate look around, still no sign of those he was looking for, just his look.
So Nikita looked to the guardians and the sylph that had gathered there. He opened his mouth to speak, sound didn't come out at first but he eventually managed to greet them with a bit of a squeak. "H-hello."
