Void tilted her head it wasn't often she was alone. Even with her attitude she was rarely alone. Those pesky males and people that she had somehow gotten stuck with.
But some how she had managed it, not a soul in sight. Sure she was probably on or over the boundary's but who was she to follow the rules? She licked her teeth looking around now only to satisfy the other need.
She was moving her nose almost to the ground as she was searching out anything that would linger just a tad to long.

Claws spread out as his weight came down his legs, step after step, and imprints were left in the ground of the male's journey. But despite his crushing weight and size, his footfalls were near silent. A noteworthy trait for any predator. Small eyes the color of crimson scanned the dusty ground below and around him, every few moments his nostrils expanding wide to find a scenty trail. But none was to be found, not the one that he was searching for. The scent of that blackened kin of his; his dark sibling.
Feathers bristled as his nerves shuddered. It was always the same. Any thoughts to his brother sent his blood flowing faster. Yet he was nowhere to be found. Nowhere to challenge to see who was finally the stronger of the two. Hissing a sigh to himself, Nishant continued on his trek.

She snorted just a bit to deep a breath of that bush and the dust was well into her nostrils. Growling she quickly tore the bush outta the ground and stomped on it. A childish reflex but there was no one around to see it. Then she stopped.
She smelt him much more before she even seen his white form on the horizon. The spikes and sails along her body quickly perked to any challenge that might arise and she carefully watched him. He hadn't spotted her yet, but he didn't seem to be out looking for her in general.
She hissed and lowered her body a bit closer to the ground wishing she hadn't in her anger destroyed the bush.

The smallest rustling of destruction could be heard in the distance, and it was enough to catch Nishant's attention. Though there'd be no feast to be had, as the air was free from any smell of blood. Even so, the grown rex found himself curious as to what caused the ruckus. Weaving his way past the thin line of trees (just shorter than his chin), Nishant cast his eyes to the far left. Far off could be seen a small cloud of dirt, light and still falling slowly in the air. A bush....or had it been a young tree....lay limply and pathetically on the ground with it's roots violently coiled outside the earth. A savage attack, no doubt.
Narrowing his eyes,Nishant was able to see details behind the destroyed plant. A breathing flesh stood behind the plant, blending and watching. Two beady red eyes could been seen staring back at him. Shaking his crowned face, the rew gave a faint growl just under his breath. More a curious communication than a challenging threat.

There was no hiding her damage to the tree was well to give her away rather then her form hiding in the cloud of dust that it had formed. She growled he seemed friendly enough but given her nature she only seen a huge male. And wow was he big he was much larger then the males she was used to. Most of them coward before her and she was given the lead way.
But this male was different, he was much larger and carried feathers along his arms. "this is my area what do you want." she continued to glare at him maybe that was enough to not risk a fight with him.

Nishant bowed his head alertly as the other rex allowed a growl of her own. There were many a species that Nishant had encountered, escpecially of his own kind. But when this other lifted her muzzle into view and out from hiding, the rex had to blink in hesitant surprise. This one was extremely different from the norm. And her scent....it was unfamiliar in some odd way.
Waving his tail in slow and small motions side to side, the pale rex held his ground. There was no kill around for her to guard possessively. Nor were there any eggs or young in sight for her to protect. Still, a predator was a predator and it'd be best to stay on guard. Nishant gave a curt nod to the other. I have no desire for these lands. Keep them as you will.
However, have you crossed paths with another rex...one like myself but of skin like the night?

She stood up a bit but in no way lowered her guard. "no others have been around here." She glared then glanced around, "Ive been out here by my self till you showed up." She lashed her tail back and forth the spines and spikes along her body still on edge. But curiosity was getting the best of her.
"what are you?" she ducked her head examining him from yet another position. "you have feathers like those birds. Not all that good a meal but a morsel never less."

I see.
So, he was wandering a dead trail. He scanned his surroundings with a thoughtful pause, absorbing the information to himself. Another direction of travel then, that was his only option. The rex pivoted his body so that it semi faced the other carnivore. She was fairly large, as most adult femme's were, and the spined fins along her body made her appear all the larger and dangerous. But, nothing he couldn't handle. Afterall, he didn't live so long as to be a weak creature in the food chain.
What am I? I could very well ask you the same thing. He tucked his arms close to his frame as he began to pace. A slow and very cautious walk that made him nearer to the other. There was plenty of distance between them, so any threats of a sudden attack would be well seen and reacted to. Afterall, there was no need for misguided and senseless wounds.
Interesting, considering you tried to become a vegetarian just moments ago. He nodded to the destroyed bush before eyeing the other once more.

She snorted and her eyes got rounder, she had never been talked down more so from another rex. She watched him pace a moment before starting to fidget on her feet. "i wasn't trying to be a vegetarian," She glanced at the mangled plant, "it merely got in my way." She snapped her jaws harder then needed to show that she meant that it was a problem and she had fixed it. Something she was well prepared to do to him also.
But she was also to the point that she might lose, he was bigger and probably stronger, she decided to change the subject. "who are you looking for." better her change it then him seem to think he had the lead.

Nishant slowed his pace, gauging the other rex's reactions as he moved. Treading to close now, was he? The white rex stopped walking all together, while edging his head side to side as calm evidence that he wanted no confrontations. Perhaps she felt belittled? And not in just the physical sense of size. But Nishant was by no means speaking down to the other. It was just a force of habit that he speak so forward and straight to the point. Maybe it was for that reason that others thought him to be challenging on simple interactions.
Hm, and it seems it received due justice.
However, the other's question drew him no patience, and he bowed his head with crown feathers lifted. That is of no concern for others. If you've not seen him, then there is no more sense in aggitating wach other any further. And he made his way to exit. No point in tresspassing another predator's territory just to annoy her.

She growled was he really so sure he could just walk away? She hadn't thought out her plan all that well just suddenly jumped and made it into a crash halt in front of the larger male.
Sticking out her chest she glared at him, "don't think running ends things." She growled a deep rumble but she wasn't as much in a mood to fight as she was in a mood to say no way. "i wasn't done with you yet." She bared her teeth as she spoke the last statement as if she was threatening him.

Spikes lifted along his spine as he was forced to stop in his steps by the blocking female. A rumble made its way through his throat as a fair warning to the other. It was never wise to cross another's path so boldly, unless they expected a struggle.
Running?....
Red eyes glared daringly at the other rex, before Nishant snuffed under his breath and his lips gave a curve as if slightly amused. Was this female really so bored to stir up trouble when none was needed? So, as she bared her teeth to him, Nishant simply lifted his crown feathers as a show of being bigger. A simple but effective display when dominance was challenged. Well then, what else is there to be had?

Void stopped she almost wanted to take that few steps backwards that would put her at least farther from the large male, but that was a sign of weakness and she was not going to back down. "i asked you a simple question, the answer is not to hard." She rumbled back her eyes still locked on him her tail now stiff behind her as she faced down the larger male.
She only had a simple plan get the answer she seeked even if it meant bloodshed, she was no way against it, just not sure if it would be hers or his.

Hm, so she had paused long enough to calm down. A smart decision for both Rexes. The male turned his head so one eye still gleamed at the other as he considered her argument. Then your question will be answered. I seek my kin; a brother. Are you satisfied? What good would that info do for her? Unless she would help in his questing, he doubted it was of any use.
The Rex huffed to himself while rolling his stiff tail. Though why I bother, I still don't know. Blood relations seem to be a brief pride, not something to cling to as this.

Void only wasted a moment on the question before showing the front teeth in a sneer, "I see no challenge in that." She gave a light growl not one to be menacing but rather to laugh.
She would have glanced around but that meant taking her eyes off him and the days through her travels she had never found a male so big. "I would make another question but I feel that would over step my luck." She took a step to the side she was not about to back away from him. She was simply moving out of the males line of travel.
