History
The now contemptable Arawn, ruler of his own New World, was not always as he is seen now. He has not always been esurient for power as he is now. He had become like this in his childhood, on a day only known of by few and spoken of by none. The day he discovered the endless opportunities his future held, and the day he was so swallowed by hatred and thought.
He had discovered his ability, in his mind even more than godly, the power to absorb and utilize the power of another. Even to amplify and detect those abilities in others given he had some sort of link to that person. It was the situation that allowed him this discovery that turned him into the despicable person you see now.
His only family, his sister. Five years younger than himself, even, had been kidnapped. Likely to have been murdered along with many other children at that time. Only one body had been found out of the many that had been thought killed, all of them young. None older than eleven, most under nine. The murderer was never caught.
He wanted revenge. He wanted revenge against evil, revenge against the justice that had failed him, revenge against all those who stood by and let him suffer alone, and revenge all those who told him "It's all right," and "It's over now." In his demand for "retribution" he himself fell to the darkness, never to return and never realizing his own wrongdoing.
He searched for others like himself and found many. He brought them all together, promising a place where they didn't have to hide what made them shine. He promised them all the things they deeply wanted most. Dara, his partner, allowed him this insight through her own ability he borrowed. He read the minds of those he wanted to recruit for his "cause."
By the time he recruited me, he had already gathered hundreds of others. He left them disributed all over the world assuring them that their time would come. The time when he would need them.
He, however, no matter how many times he flattered the others, had favorites. His treasured ones. We were the most special, the most obedient, the most...auspicious Cmatinens. He had chosen that name for his alliance. He favored Eryk, Gale, Varian, and I for our powers, mainly.
Eryk he called his time-bomb. He found it amusing how his hands and face would become scarlet and how once unleashed his wrath could not be controlled or sub-dued. He most of all took pride in Eryk's increased strength during these marxist times.
Gale was his jack of all trades, master of none. He had never seen so many undeveloped powers crammed into one being. Invisibility, animation, biological manipulation, and more he may not even be aware of.
Varian he loved because she was one of the only ones whom he could not mimic, for it caused him too much pain. The power of omniscience granted her infinite knowledge. Arawn had once described it as, "A flood of power and information much too great for one's own good."
Then there was myself, a commander of the Classic Elements. Another thing Arawn had never been able to truly mimic. I was glad for that, becuase since I had joined him, I discovered the true potential of this power and he knew I didn't want him to have it.
Enough said about us, though. Eventually, Arawn grew tired of sitting while those who had wronged him so long ago grew and died. Feeling the sudden need for action, he called together all of his "land-movers." Amongst them, myself. He commanded us to pull together and combine our power to move the massive continents together. Of course I could have done this on my own and he knew it, but I strained to hold it in as I worked with the others.
He called this pangea his "New World" and finally made the humans aware of our existance. Anyone who hadn't already realized his dark heart knew it now. He made himself king and made his favorites his "children," the princes and princesses of this new kingdom.
For years, he sent the Cmatinens out to kill many each year and was a cruel king not threatened by the law. So much so he even made his own rules, to be enforced by the Cmatinen Guard.*
He even made a new language to be taught to those who spoke no English and even those who did by combining it with other languages he had learned through an omnilinguist. This language, however, grew less common as he began to favor english again, only few remember it today.
He became hated by even some of the Cmatinens, mainly his princes and princess'. We were growing annoyed by his acts toward humans, some we had known. We had turned a blind-eye long enough, we had played along long enough, pitied him long enough...it's time for this to stop.

Towns and Villages
Inesside: A town located where New York City used to be. Since Sentry don't patrol there often, humans have salvaged goods and set-up shops in Inesside. It is within walking distance from Demire.
Demire: A fairly well-off village about a half mile from Inesside. Many Mercenaries wait for jobs here and keep tents instead of houses. It is dangerous land and only the most powerful Sentry will go near it for checking.
Keofa: The worst village there is. Many Spies reside there and will latch themselves to passers-by. Hence, not many people enjoy traveling there. On top of that, Sentry seem to favor this place for meeting messangers to report to.
Teoca: A fairly untoched city. It still has many of it's building from before the New World. Shops have been established and the Sentry there don't seem to mind it. Many humans try to escape there, but it is surrounded by less than friendly camps made by Guard Captains.
Tileocas: The circular structure that holds in the Cmatinen royalty. It is home to the castle and many Cmatinen. The only humans who've ever returned have returned Spies.
