rp between Gloria and Melman. Respected owners only please
Melman was in the garden, having crept away from Marty and Alex, who were arguing with each other...again. He had to admit, they argued a lot for being best friends, but he had been learning just to ignore it.
His mind wandered to Gloria as he looked for some sort of plant to munch on. His mind always seemed to wander to the other when he was left to his own devices. He chomped down onto a flower stem, snapping it, and began to munch as he thought.
"I hope Gloria's doing ok..." he pondered aloud in between bites. "I hope he hasn't gotten sick or anything..."

 Gloria had been floating around in the pond. It was a nice day and the day always felt better in the water. Still, he was a bit bored. He wondered if Melman, Alex and Marty were around.
Gloria got out of the water and shook himself to dry a little. He then saw one of the boys he wanted to see. "Melman! Whatcha up to?" He called as he walked over towards him.

Melman, being the ever fearful fellow that he was, flailed in fear at the calling of his name before stopping for a few moments, thinking and peering around. Once he caught sight of Gloria his body relaxed, and he quickly got up to dust himself off.
"I...uh...well..." he stammered, looking around. He found the flower he was munching on and scooped it up.
"I...uh... was just enjoying a light lunch," he said finally, nodding.
"And yourself Gloria?"

Gloria put his hands on his face and shook his head as he had scared Melman. Under his breath he wispered, "Oh, Melman." He really hadn't ment to scare him. Gloria would have to remember who Melman was and not sneak up on him again.
"I was just swimming. It's a nice day for a swim." Gloria looked at the flower Melman was eating and smiled. "That's a pretty lunch."
((If I'm not just like Gloria I'm sorry. I'm not always great at rping as a cosplay! lol wink ))

Melman laughed a bit. "Of course. Guess I should've known. You do like your daily swim." He then paused, looking at the flower. He had just been munching on the stem, so he snapped the stem all the way off and placed the flower in Gloria's hair.
"There we go," he said stepping back. "Pretty flower for a pretty plush." As soon as he said that though, he clapped his hand over his mouth. He didn't mean to say it outloud
((a cosplay is just that, a cosplay, something made to look like something else, so it doesn't have to be perfect ^^))

Gloria smiled and felt the flower in his hair. "Thank you Melman." He then giggled at the comment. "Would you like to do something?" Gloria asked with a smile. His swim was over and he really wanted to do something with Melman. It would make his day.

Melman laughed slightly, glad that Gloria didn't get offended by what he had blurted out.
"Sure, I'd love to go out and do something with you," he said with a smile. "You got anything in mind, I'm not all that creative when it comes to activities after all..."

Gloria thought for a moment. He'd have to come up with something that Melman wouldn't get scared off. He firegured swimming was out due to fear or drowing and anyway that was something Gloria liked. He wanted something Melman could enjoy as well.
"How about a nice walk?" Hopefully there was too much pollen in the air or anything else that might bother Gloria's firend.

"Walk sounds nice," Melman said with a nod. "The pollen count is down low today anyway, so I'm sure everything with be safe,"

Gloria smiled. "So, how about a walk around the pond? It is a pretty sight and even better with someone nice." He smiled towards Melman and then held out his hand.

Melman smiled and took Gloria's hand with no hesitation.
"That sounds perfect," he said, a faint blush dusting his cheeks.

Gloria smiled as Melman took his hand. So, he began to walk. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shinning and the the pond was lapping against the shore making a nice background noise. Being there with Melman just made it even better.

Melman walked along with Gloria, and it seemed with every step he took with the other plush next to him, is hypochondriac tendencies started to fade away. The world started to seem pleasant again, but this always happened when he was with Gloria. When they were together, everything was fine.

Gloria smiled to Melman as he could tell he was doing good. This made Gloria happy. "The water looks good today, don't you think?" He stopped going and looked to the water. Gloria couldn't help likeing the water.

"Hm?" Melman asked, as his mind had been wandering, but Gloria's words replayed in his head, as he had been paying half attention.
"Oh, yeah... Water looks great. Makes me wish that I knew how to swim..." he stated. Honestly though, the only reason he wished he knew how was so he could spend more time with Gloria doing things that he liked to do.
