Adriel was sitting at the water fountian at the mall, even as a teenager he felt more awkward in his body than normal. Depressed was more like it, he couldn't help it, he hated that he was forced to take drugs to stop himself from making everyone around him want to molest him...hated that his tentacles Chii and Fuu were so listless they were more a burnden than anything now.
Sitting at the fountian he watched his reflection shifted and ripple from the flow. There were numerous coins in the fountian, he was tempted to toss a coin in himself and make a silly wish.
People stayed pretty far away from him, he was so different looking..and most didn't like his tentacles....

O U R A D V E N T U R E
Slythor walked down the mall proud as always, though even prouder that he felt he had the courage to go alone. Since his last trip was with Adriel he hoped to find the boy again, meet up with those silly tentacles. However as he was looking around he slammed right into the boy from behind. He hadn't expected to meet the other quite so quickly.
Immediately he grabbed Adriel's hand in somehow hopes he could pull in the opposite direction if the other decided to take a swim. "Sorry!" He spoke in a somewhat worried tone. "Long time no see! You look different now." He spoke curiously, then he took a tentacle in his other hand. "...What happened to these guys?"

THe knock against his back was enough that his one hand went out to catch his fall ...whilst the other was grabbed by Slythor. So instead of being completely soaked only one of his sleeves were drenched. Lifting the soggy mess out of the water he gave Slythor a small smile before he went about wringing out his one wet sleeve.
"..Ah..Hi...Slythor.." He murmured as he looked over the youth, he had grown no longer the little biter who had enjoyed biting his tentacles. He looked to Chii and Fuu as the question was directed at them.
"Oh..th..they arn't...f...feeling well." He stuttered as he found it too much work to exlpain about the drug therapy he was trying.

Slythor watched as Adriel drenched his own sleeve. It was somewhat funny, though he didn't laugh. He turned as he heard chirping and his bird flew in contently, landing on his shoulder and preening himself. On the bird's neck was a small necklace with a label of his name and address, phone number, and special permission for the bird to go absolutely anywhere with his partner.
Slythor pat the bird contently and gave it a sunflower seed as a treat before turning back to Adriel and releasing his hand. "Aren't feeling well? Why?" He asked softly, patting one that seemed to remain somwhat limp in his hand. It was much different from the devilish little thing he had played with the last time they met. It was somewhat disturbing.

Adriel was a bit surprised by the appearance of the bird caught off guard he inched back a bit, lucky to not fall into the fountain again.
"ah...well I am on some medication right now that they don't like.." He replied as he looked over the bird a moment. He felt a tickling in his nose and he rubbed it with his hand.
"Where did that come from? is he or she yours?" He inquired as he never seen the bird before.

Slythor smiled as Adriel explained what was wrong with the tentacles. He pat them softly. Poor things. He wouldn't like being forced to take medication that made them feel terrible. He smiled up at the other, oblivious as to why the medication was put in place and assuming it was something like aspirin that would take its leave out of his system soon enough. "I hope they get better. It's kinda sad to watch them be so limp." He commented softly.
Then the other asked about his bird. He laughed. "This is Blue. He follows me around. It's really cool. " He grinned softly and pat his bird. "I was born with it, and the scientists say it calms me down so they say I can't be too far from it now." He replied contently. After all, what else can keep him from crushing the weak? He wanted to laugh at the thought that a bird could keep him from proving he was the best. However, a tug at his ear wuickly took him from those thoughts.
"Why're you here?" He asked finally.

He was...born with it? That was new. Adriel had never heard of anything like that before. But he guessed he should never be too surprised with what happens at the facility.
"Yeah...it is.." he responded to the comment about Chii and Fuu being so limp and dead like. he then looked up at the bird who...was blue and was named Blue.
"that is rather neat...he is like a pet then?" Since he said the bird followed him and then he found his attention brought back to the task at hand. Why was he here?
"Thinking...I've had a rough couple of weeks...and I just needed to think a bit." He answered honestly.

Slythor thought for a moment. "Kinda, but more like a friend. I like him. " He smiled and hugged his bird. "Blue and I are like brothers!" He grinned. He was brothers with a bird, how silly. No one would believe him if he said his bird was his twin. Then again, maybe they transferred his twin;s brain to a bird's brain due to some funky complication. That made sense.
"Rough couple of weeks?" He asked curiously. "Like what?" He asked softly, curious. He could just beat up the people who gave Adriel a hard time.

Adriel looked the pair over and silently nodded his head. He envied the kid a bit, having someone always around..but then again he guessed he just missed Chii and Fuu...despite their antics at least he was never really alone.
"I've been taking some medication...uh to help with a problem I am having. It makes me very tired...and it gets frustrating with Chii and Fuu being completely out of it." He replied softly there was no sense taking out his anger on this kid. Not fair to him anyway.

Slythor nodded. "Really? Poor guys. I really hope you're off the meds soon." He replied contently, absentmindedly petting Blue contently. Blue stared at the tentacles as if he had never seen them before. To tell the truth, the little bird had never seen them before. He flew down to one of them to poke and pick at them curiously.

Chii and Fuu responded with little more than a twitch when Blue began to investigate them, and Adriel watched a bit saddened at the sight of them.
"Yeah I don't know how long I have to be on them so hopefully i can get off the medication soon..I don't like being like this at all." He murmured.
