Hey I noticed this the other day while watching the TOA anime with my friend, but are we seeing things or is Jade's hair changing in about every other scene? I mean like first it's short then it's long or some other color!

It's happening with Luke's sword too. It's long then it's short, it's curved, then it's straight.
...what does this say about Luke?

Yeah, I've noticed that his hair seems to change quite a bit, but that is pretty common in anime. I'm assuming that they don't quite have time to go reference it and make sure that it's consistent.

Luke is also taller. In the game he's...wider, sort of.

You also have to realise that characters in the game are a bit 'chibified'. Albeit, not so extreme like Tales of Symphonia, but it's still there a bit.
But I never realized at all the hair changes. xD; Although I assume it has to do partly with the fact that they're probably animating these episodes in several different studios, or whatever it is that they do to lessen the load on the animators.

Hmmm, could be the aritst's different styles--like there's more than one artist who draws the characters. Maybe that's why at times, they're inconsistent with each other?

Me and my friend made some bit of a game from this... Basically, we pick a character and each time we see a major difference we take wasabi shots. Hah, I can't feel my tounge anymore...
