RP for Moogz and Fish between Emery and Eiji.

Starts in the shop, and goes from there |3

------------------------------------

Little Fishy
Emery's wings fluttered lightly as he peeked into the sanctuary quietly looking around... Pretty empty. The decorations drew his attention as he made his way in, almost stumbling out of sheer clumsiness, and finally reached a couch where he sat, flattening his wings a bit so he was comfy enough as he settled in to read.

MoogerMint
Eiji's ears perked to the sound of the door, knowing immediately that someone else had entered instead of left, seeing as he was the only one around here at this time. He was leaning heavily over the kitchen table, chipping away at a piece of wood he had found on his way over to the building with a spare swiss army knife. Glancing over to the couch, he saw the angel sit down with the book. "Hey there," he called over, still hovering above the table with the instruments in-hand. Quickly setting down the piece of wood, he waved to the angel so that he would know from where the sound had come from, but also in greeting.

Little Fishy
Emery perked and blinked, looking up from his book as he heard another voice. Looking around curiously... He hadn't seen anyone else--- Oh! His attention was draw towards the wave and leaned a bit so that he could see the feline better. He gave a small smile and a light wave back. Not sure what else to say he gave a small, "Hello ~"

MoogerMint
Well, it was a good thing to note that Eiji hadn't spooked the angel too badly with his poorly-executed hello, something he hadn't really thought about beforehand. Waving his tail through the air as he slumped onto the table's surface, the panther asked curiously, "What'cha readin'?" He seemed to be a little tired, probably from a busy day, and wasn't really paying attention to if he was making the angel uncomfortable with his forward nature. He just thought it was nice to talk about nothing with someone he hadn't met before.

Little Fishy
Blinking, Emery was slightly shocked. This seemed to be an odd way to carry on a conversation. Clearing his throat lightly, he moved so he wouldn't have to lean to talk, seeming as the other wanted to. "Um... Well..." He looked at the book. "It's a biography..."

MoogerMint
Eiji watched the angel intently as he moved, paying little attention to what he was shaving off the piece of wood with the knife, almost as if it were a nervous habit. "Anyone interesting?" he queried, ears twitching forward.

Little Fishy
Emery tried to keep his gaze on the book as he fidgeted a little. People staring always made him a bit uncomfortable, but that was just him. Glancing up briefly he looked back down... "Um... I think so... It's about Hellen Keller..."

MoogerMint
"Helen Keller, huh?" he repeated, as if he knew exactly what her history was about. However, his next question made it obvious that that was not the case, "Did she invent something?" No, he didn't read very much.

Moving his head a little, the simple action made his hands slip as he cut down on the piece of wood, making the knife find its way to the thumb holding the object. Quickly, he flinched upright and, taking a second's glance at it, slipped the thumb into his mouth to stop the bleeding, trying to keep all his attention on the angel.

Little Fishy
Th angel blinked... "Um... No..." He glanced up, catching the slip of the knife he hadn't actually noticed yet. "Hey--! Are... are you okay?" He set his book aside as he moved to get up and help. There were reasons why he didnt play with knives, that being one...

MoogerMint
Stupid stupid stupid! he growled to himself, seeing as the angel was now coming on over. He wasn't normally so klutzy with the knife, but he had been getting groggy and was focused on something else. He nodded sharply when asked if he was alright, pale gold eyes wide. He fidgeted and slid away from the angel, not because he didn't trust him to look at it, but because he didn't want to see it; he was terrified of blood, and although he had seen it enough in the past, there were just some things he couldn't quite cope with. His ears laid back flat against his white hair, free hand wrapping around his injured hand's elbow.

Little Fishy
Emery blinked and moved over anyways, always a tad nosey and a bit of a worry wart. Offering a hand he moved to gently catch the others arm so he could look at it. "Let me see ...Please?" His wings shifted behind him a bit. He wasnt really queasy around blood, though he'd never seen a mass amount of it.

MoogerMint
Eiji's muscles tensed as his hand was touched, expecting it to be pried away from his body. He glared briefly in response to this before realizing that Emery was trying to help in the kindest manner possible, and his gaze dropped to the floor. He let the angel take a look at it, releasing it from his own grip, but he turned his face away, knowing that he had drawn blood. "Are you... any good at first aid?" he asked quietly.

Little Fishy
Emery looked up at the other, quietly at the tense. He wouldn't if the other insisted much more that he didn't need help. Gently he took the hand watching Eiji a moment before he looked down at the cut. Gently he cupped one hand under the others while the other moved so he could see the finger that'd been cut.

Oh, it wasn't too bad... there was a bit of blood though."Im... guessing you don't like blood..." Gently he closed the others hand and looked at him, "To the sink? I can't see... it very well..."

MoogerMint
Eiji managed to relax as Emery took a look at his sliced thumb, noticing that the angel was going out of his way to make sure he didn't hurt the panther any further. Problem was that it wasn't pain that made him react like this, just the sudden rush of shock and slight paranoia.

He perked his ears up, turning back to Emery as the angel made the vocal observation. He... he was right. That was unexpected... He figured the angel would have assumed he was being a crybaby over a little cut, but he noticed it had been more than that. At a loss for words, Eiji bobbed his head in a nod before finding his voice for the last question. "Y-Yeah, that sounds good," he replied, a little dazed over everything that was happening. At least it was a faucet... that would calm him down. "Thank you... I mean it," he said as they wandered over to the sink, under a brighter light.

Little Fishy
Emery gave a small smile moving over to the sink where he turned on the water. "Put it under for a moment... I need to see if there's a first aid kit." Wings fluttering lightly he stretched them out before moving to check drawers and cupboards, finally coming across one. He found a paper towel just in case, and moved back to Eiji.

Reaching, he turned off the water and took hold of the others wrist. "This... might sting. It's peroxide... We need to disinfect it..." Looking to the panther a moment, before back at the cut where he lightly poured some over the wound. He hated peroxide...

MoogerMint
Eiji did as he was instructed, though it was a reaction he would have done without thinking about it once he saw the water cascade out of the faucet. He slouched a little as the water hit his thumb, relaxing him further even though the pain was still there. He glanced over his shoulder, watching the angel look around for the first aid kit. He had no idea where it may have been, otherwise he would have tried to help. Either way, it looked like Emery knew what he was doing, so he didn't want to become more of a distraction; after all, he didn't come in here very often.

He flashed a disappointed look as the water stopped running, even though he knew that just keeping it under there wouldn't help the injured thumb. Turning his pale eyes to the bottle of peroxide that the angel held in his hand, he gave Emery a smile. "You don't have to worry about being careful with it, I'm used to using that stuff. You know, klutzy childhood and all," he said with a slight laugh, even though he was only telling a partial truth.

He didn't cringe at all as the liquid hit the open wound, rather he went on. "You don't have to do all that, I can take care of this part..." though he knew there wasn't much else he could do; Emery was doing a great job at it without him. Instead, Eiji's eyes fell on the angel's mismatched wings, purring out a quiet, "Blue..." before grinning.

Little Fishy
His golden eyes flicked at Eiji and chuckled lightly, "Every kid is clumsy..." He couldn't think of one that wasn't and he himself was still clumsy. The angel had never liked peroxide and found it stung and hurt depending on the wound.

"It's okay ~ I dont mind." He was one to dote and liked to take care of people. Smiling lightly he waited a moment before patting it dry with the paper towel. He'd taken out a band-aid before and let go of Eiji to unwrap it. Blinking he perked as he heard the color and looked at the panther then to where he was looking... his wings. Looking back up, the then turned his attention to the band-aid then back to the hand.

At the gaze, he moved them lightly, "Do you like blue?"

MoogerMint
"Yeah, that they are," Eiji agreed, turning his eyes to the ground. True, kids were klutzy, but that hadn't been the main reason he needed the medication. He shrugged to himself; it was all in the past, so there was no reason to dwell on it now. It was actually kind of a breath of fresh air that it happened in this manner, and one that made him less antisocial. It was nice to be able to talk to someone again, especially one that seemed so caring, and not in an overbearing way.

"Really?" Eiji asked, blinking slightly. Many people may have been slightly annoyed at the situation, but if the angel did like it, then there was no reason for him to be all that worried; he seemed sincere enough. Glancing down as Emery dabbed at his thumb, the panther commented, "You know, you'd be a good doctor or nurse." It was a simple statement, but the angel was so delicate and efficient with the way he handled things that that was what Eiji got of it.

The feline flinched slightly as Emery's wings moved, signaling that the angel had realized where Eiji had been staring. It didn't embarrass him, but he hadn't really noticed that he had been focused on them so intently. Grinning broadly, he nodded and replied with a quick, "Very much so! It's a lovely color." Glancing back to Emery's face, he asked, "Do you have a favorite color?"

Little Fishy
Emery put the band aid on, being sure to be gentle. Smiling lightly he chuckled... "I... don't think I could do either. People make me to nervous...." He drifted off as he finished then stepped back. "There you go. All done." He gave a warm smile

At the information of the others favorite color he thought a moment... "I like green actually... and purple..." He gave a small nod.

MoogerMint
Eiji pulled his hand back as Emery finished wrapping the band-aid around his thumb, studying it slightly. "Is that so?" he asked, "I think you did a pretty good job with me." In truth, he knew how people could be, and he really didn't blame the angel for the observation. However, Eiji figured he did a better job than most of the doctors he had ever been to, who didn't seem to have any sympathy for what the patient may have been in for, let alone the patient at all.

Glancing back to Emery, Eiji smiled back. "Those're nice colors, too," he replied, "But you know? I think I could go for some coffee right about now." Okay, so the panther wasn't the best about transitioning the conversation, but he was finding it a little difficult to concentrate completely. True, he still had a bit of an adrenaline rush, but he knew that wasn't going to last much longer. As he moved over to the coffee pot, looking it over and reading what little direction was displayed on the front, he asked, "Did you want some? Or maybe something else?"

Little Fishy
Emery's wings stretched lightly as he chuckled lightly, "Maybe you're just a special case..." He would never be able to handle angry patients of any kind, let alone the ones that suffered horribly...

He was caught slightly off guard by the others comment on coffee, "Oh, um... no thank you..." He didn't drink coffee; made him sick and feel gross. Quietly he watched, and gave a small smile when looked at...Now he didn't know what to do. It seemed he'd gotten himself into a social situation after he'd planned to read; interesting. All well, he could read later. Moving he seated himself in a chair, watching Eiji.

MoogerMint
Eiji laughed at Emery's description of him being a 'special case.' "Maybe so, in some sense of the word," he managed to say, turning back to the coffee pot. "Mind if I go to you for any other medical problems that come up? I don't much like the doctors I end up going to," he asked as he looked down the sides and back of the coffee maker, wondering where the power button was located.

The panther managed to find the coffee filters nearby, on top of a canister of coffee at the edge of the counter. He hesitated slightly, wondering if he was allowed to use it, but decided to go ahead with it anyway; after all, it was just sitting out. As he unscrewed the top to the tin, filter held at the edge between two fingers, he turned back to Emery, who by now was seated at the table. "You sure? Not hungry or anything? I feel kinda awkward to be making coffee for myself and nothing for you," he asked, indicating his bandaged thumb. He needed to repay the kindness somehow.

Little Fishy
Emery chuckled lightly. "I suppose that'd be okay if you really wanted too." He watched on as the panther looks for the button, he was about to point it out when he perked at the offer yet again. Smiling he shook his head, "I'm okay. Really, don't worry about it."

Settling in the chair he shifted so he cold fold his legs, his wings out so they didn't get squished. "It was nothing ~ Really." He chuckled lightly, "Just a band-aid."

MoogerMint
"Niiiice," Eiji crowed, waving his tail in pleasure, "Goodbye, Mister Trigger-Happy Needle Man!" He snickered a little, bright smile lit on his face as he turned on the coffee. He had been referring to his current doctor, though the relation might have been a little obscure through the context he put it in.

His ears twitched at the air, leaning himself on the counter with his forearm as he waited for the coffee to be ready. He blinked, then rose his hand to his eye level to take another glance at the bandage. "...It's a nice band-aid," he stated after a brief pause, before shrugging. "In any case, it's the most anyone's ever done for me in a long while. I'll just give you a verbal I.O.U. in the meantime," he said, winking.

Little Fishy
Emery blinked slightly thrown off and quirked an eyebrow, though not about to ask about the 'needle man' figuring it might be a doctor or something. He gave a small chuckle content that the other was pleased by the small offer.

Watching quickly he blinked at the comment about the band-aid and couldn't help but snicker lightly. "Well, Im glad you like it." It would be a bummer to have a band0aid one did not like... right? Sure. Made sense...

"Okay ~ Ill keep you to that." He meant the I-O-U.

MoogerMint
Eiji's grin broadened, stating simply, "I like your laugh." It wasn't very often nowadays that he came across someone who's laugh he could relate to, someone who was laughing because they were having a good time. In fact, it had been a while since he had a good time, come to think of it. The meeting had started off badly, but maybe it actually had started off the best it could have?

At the mention of the I.O.U., Eiji looked a little surprised. "Really? Good!" he said, thinking that the angel may have just told him to forget about it. "Gives me a reason to see you again," he nodded, reaching for a coffee mug as the pot started gurgling.

As he took a sip, mulling over the night thus far, he went to take a seat on the other side of the table, across from Emery. "So, what brought you here in the first place?" He hated to think he was interrupting anything, but then again... he was just soaking up the attention.

Little Fishy
Emery just kept getting thrown curve balls from Eiji, not really, just the things that were stated from the other kept seeming random and something to do with a new topic. At the compliment he blushed lightly, blinking, "Oh, um.. thank you." He gave a happy smile. Maybe it was the bluntness of the other that was so appealing; Either way, Emery found himself almost anticipating the others statements.

He watched on as coffee was poured, smelling it from where he sat, and smelt it even more as Eiji came to sit with him. Shifting a little, he got a little more comfy where he sat as the others sat and at the question canted his head lightly, "Oh, I was just going to read a little... How about yourself?"

MoogerMint
"You are very welcome," Eiji replied, nodding as if he were agreeing to an observation. He blinked, however, as he noticed the sudden silence, glancing over and noticing that Emery was blushing. "Oh, don't stop on account of me! I'm not here to make you uncomfortable," he quickly added, directed toward the laughter, before his eyes narrowed, "or I'll have to tickle you." He grinned again, hiding behind the coffee mug that was raised to his mouth.

He turned his eyes away in thought, glancing over to where Emery had been sitting before Eiji had cut his thumb, catching sight of the book. "Ahh, I see. Then it's all good. One can always go back to reading later," he stated, a bit relieved. He turned his eyes back to the angel before answering, "I'm... not really sure why I came down here. I guess since it's a little like the place I used to live. I got tired of sticking around the apartment complex, and I wanted a bit of fresh air. Though... it'd be fresher outside..." He blinked, looking briefly out the window to the darkened sky. "Buuut, it's too late."

Little Fishy
The angel's wings fluttered slightly at the 'threat' of being tickled. He grinned and muffled a chuckle lightly, as he was in fact, quite ticklish, not that he would admit it openly just in case one would use it against him. Looking back at Eiji, he saw the other from behind his mug and smiled, relaxing a bit in his chair.

"Mhmm ~ I can read later... I always read before bed, so it's okay." He gave a small nod and canted his head at the fresh air, following the gaze to the outside... It was a bit dark, but... "It's not too bad..." Looking back at the other, he sat up a bit, "I'd go with you."

He wasnt much for dark streets, but it didnt seem to bad and it was a nice night.

MoogerMint
Eiji smiled broadly from behind his coffee mug, though it was only the eyes that could really be seen decently. "There, that's better!" he chirped, glad to know he didn't make Emery too uncomfortable with his off-handed comment.

"Read before bed?" the panther echoed, tilting his head slightly. "Were you planning to go to bed soon, then?" No, it was an obvious answer, but he found it odd to mention. Emery wasn't planning to sleep here, was he? Well... guess it all depended on if it was the book that made the angel tired.

However, his mind was quickly redirected, perking his ears. "Fer serious?" He wasn't sure what he had planned to do outdoors, but the offer wasn't without consideration. Or acceptance, for that matter. "Sure thing! Let me just finish this--" he hastily said, quickly downing the mug of coffee before bursting out in a coughing fit once he had finished. Seemed it was too much at one time, something Eiji didn't take to thought.

Little Fishy
Emery gave a small nod, "Yes, I read before bed, but no, I wasn't planning on going to bed soon. I was just meaning I could read later is all..." Though it was possible if he ended up drifting to sleep during a chapter, considering he was a bit on the tired side.

"Oh wai--!" He was going to warm the other not to chug the coffee and blinked, eyes wide, "Are you okay?" A grin couldn't help but pull at the corners of his mouth as he put his hand to his mouth to stifle a chuckle. He'd never, ever seen anyone chug coffee before... He hoped it asn't still hot. There were reasons he tended to lean more towards cold drinks versus the hot ones, just because he always ended up burning his mouth.

"Mm, yes... I wouldnt mind going out." Maybe they could go for a walk.

MoogerMint
Eiji coughed a few more times, waving his hand as he bent over from the force. "No, no-- I mean, yes, I'm fine!" Eiji exclaimed, gaining back his composure after the fit. He tried a few breathing exercises to keep back the urge to cough some more, rubbing his head a little and grinning back at Emery. "Haaah, phew! It's okay to laugh, I really shouldn't have done that," he snickered, a little embarrassed but in good spirits.

"So! About that trek outdoors, hmm?" he said, pulling his arm in a forward motion as he moved toward the door. "We can figure out what to do when we get out there. Or we could just talk. Either way, I'm happy," he contemplated aloud.

The air was slightly brisk, the comfortable daytime temperature dropping as the moon threatened to come up over the outcropping of city lights. The sky was clear, stars just starting to become visible over a quickly-darkening horizon. Eiji inhaled the air as he stretched, comfortable being out. "If you get too cold out here, we can go back in at any time," he offered to Emery with a smile.

Emery shivered a bit as he walked to the sanctuary, even with all the layers he had; he had been cursed with bad circulation, thus making winter a bit of a hassle most of the time. Shivering he scurried into the sanctuary where he went to curl up on the couch till he could completely defrost.

His wings curled as much as possible to warm himself back up.
