I'm new, I'd like to meet everyone.
Post a short paragraph that best describes what you want people to know about you.
I'll start.
.I'm a 17 year old American Christian.
.I'm devoted to my boyfriend of two years. He's the only guy I've ever kissed/dated/had feelings for, and we're going to get married.
.In junior high I developed an autonomic nervous system disorder and was very ill for about four years. I know what it's like to lose everything.
.I avoid physical or emotional proximity to those of the male sex, excluding my family and my boyfriend.
.I'm a recovering self-mutilator, currently sober.
.I hate arguing or conflict of any kind.
.I'm unattractively skinny.
.I love winter, naked trees, dead plants, and anything in nature.
.I'm almost always wearing a scarf.
.I'm infatuated with the Victorian era.
.I enjoy reading classic literature, knitting, and drinking tea.
.I like Baroque music, especially harpsichord music.

-I'm an eighteen year old girl living in upstate NY.
-I've been suffering from depression lately, and it's really starting to bother me.
-I love to RP and write, but I haven't been doing it lately.
-I've been in a relationship for almost four years, and I don't know how I feel about it. I love the person I'm with, but their also my best friend in the world, and we're not going to get married or anything.... so sometimes I wonder if I've missed some chances.
-I have major self-esteem issues.
-I hate the standards and pre-based opinions on women. It makes me ashamed to be female sometimes.
-I'm just trying to go on. Depending on the future that I hope holds something for me.
-I love to be with people, but hate it at the same time.
-I would do anything for my friends.
-I have some better friends on the internet then I do in real life.
-I have major trust issues.
-I'm not sure if I want people to know this about me, but I'm being honest.
-But don't let this all get you down, I really do love to talk to people, and not about negative things all the time.

• I am fifteen years of age.
• I tend to be outspoken, quiet, and shy.
• While not a genius, I am reasonably intelligent, so you won't have to worry about literracy or any of that.
• I am not very confident.
• I play video games. Yes, I consider myself a gamer nerd. (Don't like that? Well good for you, smart-a**.)
• I don't hold a grudge.
• I am very skinny. My high metabolism is partly to blame.
• I am sometimes formal in the way I speak.
• I only have one irl friend who I can trust.
• I used to be very gullible, and people took advantage of that. Now, I've wisened up to people's tricks and lies.
• In additon to the above statement, I sometimes feel suspicious of most people.
Yeah, that sounds kind of emo-ish to say. xD
I'm tired and just feel kinda bleh for no reason.

xXx I'm 20, male, and heart Jesus FTW
xXx I'm single and plan to stay that way for as long as possible.
xXx I have circulation problems in my hands that nearly crippled me when they first appeared. My college career has spiraled downward ever since.
xXx I am a huge flirt, but I balance it by being highly sarcastic. I don't let anyone inside my emotional walls unless they're truly amazing. And I still usually regret it afterwards.
xXx I've never done drugs, but my mom let me try some wine once when I was younger.
xXx I am very confident by nature. I don't take it to extremes, but I feel like I generally know what I'm talking about and I'm usually right when I've been given correct information.
xXx People say I'm too skinny, but it's hard for me to put on weight. I can keep muscle when I get it, but my body really makes me earn it.
xXx To date, every one of my friends has abandoned me (to some degree or another) except my sister whom I adopted over the internet.
xXx I regret the naivete of my youth, and yet at the same time wish I could get it back.
xXx I like warm weather, but I hate bugs. I generally enjoy the end of spring and beginning of fall most.
xXx Japanese religion/culture is fascinating to me, and I'd love to learn more.
xXx I like to read a wide variety of books, but I spend most of my time reading fiction. Also, if I was allowed to I would spend the better part of my day reading webcomics. I like to draw, but haven't in a long time. I enjoy role-playing a whole lot, but I don't have the time for it because of school. I've written some songs, but lack the time to learn how to use a music-writing program, even though I know I have the knack for it.
xXx I am a gamer. This is near the core of my identity. Video games are perhaps the biggest part of my life next to God. Combining these passions is my ultimate dream.
xXx I collect swords, and weapons in general are very interesting to me. I think all guns and swords are created equal. 3nodding
xXx I'm of the opinion that most people are debilitatingly stupid, which accounts for the condition of our society/world. I try my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but most of the time that doesn't last very long.

Oh....this sounds fun...
~ Nineteen year old American thing...
~ I'm single and won't care about that until I actually like someone...
~ I don't like telling people about me, because I'm sure they never want to hear it.
~ I love learning about other people though.
~ Which makes me love learning about other cultures, the more diverse, the better.
~ Sarcasm is my best friend, please rarely take me seriously I never mean harm...
~ My longest standing friend is my "adopted sister" who has been my friend for seven years. Only person to last nearly that long before leaving.
~ Most of the time I am crippled with far too much energy and not enough things to do at once. Makes actually doing school work extremely hard.
~ I am a music junkie, it is very rare for me to find a band in which I do not at least like ONE of their songs. For me to like more than five from any is a feat.
~ I write all the time. Rarely ever stop roleplaying even though I'm a double major and probably should not waste so much time. I just love writing all the time and constantly get new ideas in my head bothering me if I don't write.
~ I HATE being cold. Takes a bit, but the cold makes my ankles lock up and hurt like all hell. Really makes it hard to sleep among other things.
~ It is not that I don't trust people, I just don't trust them to like me enough to not hurt me.
~ I'm a quote collector. I love learning new sayings and quotes, especially if they are funny or extremely insightful.
~ I generally like everyone and it is terribly hard to annoy me. Unless one is close minded, that fault I have trouble dealing with.

-Next year I am going to be in the navy
-Not many people know this but I'm a total book worm
-Yet I love to go out clubbing and chill with my friends

whee My turn ^_^ Brace yourselfs xD This could get confusing... (psst... I like writing lots >.> Run...) ¬ I'm 16 years old, started college just last september.
¬ I live in Northern England x3 ...It's okay I guess.
¬ I don't know where I'm heading in life.
¬ I am single, and very much don't like it but that's just me.
¬ I get depressed very easily. I see a councilor(sp) every week. She's lovely ^_^.
¬ For some reason when I'm sad I enjoy pretending I'm okay and happy, because it makes other people happy. People can't really make me happy, but I'll let them think they can... What an odd way to be deceitful.
¬ No body knows the complete truth about me. I intend to keep it that way.
¬ I'm highly unmotivated.
¬ I love rock music. For some reason I'm freaking out because I keep listening to dance music and I don't like it >.<
¬ I contradict myself ^_^
¬ I think I'm quite a nice person, that likes to help people, when I can.
¬ I don't like giving up quickly ^^ I'm a stubborn person, that prefers to be called a child rather than a teenager.
¬ I'm getting a fair bit of attention from guys recently, that's freaking me out too.
¬ Mm I don't have many "real" friends.
¬ My mum has always called me an "odd ball"
¬ Apparently I have an American accent even though I've never been to America in my life. xD
¬ I'm quite understanding. I can be childish or mature depending on the situation :3
¬ I'm very skinny gonk My friend poked my stomach then stated I have "abs of steel" Lol. I don't work out!
¬ In my spare time, I'm either hanging out with friends, on the internet, doing homework or playing video games. =P

- I'm 19 year old Yankee female who insisted on going to a Christian University and ended up 1500 miles away from my hometown
- In the past month I discovered I really, really enjoy dancing. It just helps to have an amazing partner. However I only really like true social dances not whatever my generation considers 'cool' dancing (the closest I get is blues dancing and that's with my boyfriend).
- I am also more than slightly disturbed by the stereotypical Texan culture
- I have a wonderful boyfriend who actually likes my peculiarities, in fact he encourages them, well, most of them anyway. He doesn't like that I still have a security blanket but he can get over it (even though I promised him when we are engaged/married it will be packed away...)
- I'm type A... even though I'm a horrible procrastinator and lazy as anything
- I have done the stereotypical little girl's dream: play flute, ride ponies and be a ballerina (I washed out of ballet but continue the other two)
- I came to school looking to focus on Levant Bronze Age Archaeology but I think I'm switching to Museum Studies with practical experience and education in Archaeology.
- I love sleep, unfortunately as a college student I never get enough
- My best friends at college are fellow members of BUGWB
- I'm a browncoat

-I lie frequently about my age, so I'm not going to bother posting it
-I live in Central Ohio, and hope to move to NYC when I complete a college education and have saved up enough money.
-I love playing and composing on the piano. It's extremely soothing.
-I'm intelligent, but recently I feel as though I'm losing my ability to think logistically and creatively to fit in with the crowd more.
-I'm under 21, but I enjoy the taste of wine
-I enjoy singing, but I refuse to when others are around, so I only sing when no one else is home redface
-I have a 4.0 despite the fact that I almost never study, I procrastinate horribly, and am extremely unmotivated.
-I love writing, and hope to write a novel someday, but probably won't pursue a career professionally
-I'm not quite sure what I wish to do with my life at the time being
-I feel that I am unattractive to guys
-I have a crush on a guy frenemy, but am playfully hostile to hide that fact
-I wear different masks around different friends, and feel guilty about it, but I always worry that they won't like the real me. There are very few people who know the real me
-I am distrusting, and fairly sure I have paranoia (I worry that the people around me can read my mind. Seriously.)
-I find it hard to hate others, but when I do, it's for the most childish or selfish reasons.
-I am extremely insecure, mostly because of the fact that I grew up in a community where most of the girls are rich, beautiful, skinny, and generally cruel and backhanded.
-I am terrified of deep water for no discernible reason.
-For a short period of time, I had anorexia and obsessively counted calories, though I haven't told any of my friends or family members.
-There is a lot more about me, but I'm sure that you don't really care.

Well my name is Chris and I'm 15 years old.
Im from Selah WA
My interests are widespread
Im not sure what I want to do with my life quite yet...possibly some field of engineering
I love to discuss scientific theories, or math, or basic beliefs for that matter, in fact put me in for pretty much every subject.
I have a thing for giving advice, love to do it, friends say im good at it.

I joined Gaia about 3 weeks ago
I have a girlfriend and love her very much, the downside to this is she is moving out of state in 3 weeks.

-I live in Virginia in the Alexandria area
-I love painting and sculpting things
-I'm out of college I have a degree in computer science
-I'm single and looking for a "partner in crime"
-I enjoy playing bass, I have been playing for 6 years and have been in and out of local bands
-I have ADHD so I talk a lot and I'm always on the move I hate being still
-I'm a great cook my chocolate cream breulee owns
-I'm at a strange point in my life to young to hang out at the bar with my coworkers but to old and mature for Highschool BS.
-I'm thousands of miles away from my family I took a risk moving to Virginia for a job but I enjoy living here more than I did in Puerto Rico
-I'm bilingual I speak English and Spanish
-I love my job
-I dont do drugs but I drink on occasion
-I see my self as spiritual but I dont have a religion
-I'm very easy going takes alot to get me mad
-I'm scared of heights but I dont mind scuba diving 120feet under water

Well i'm new too and i think i'm going to like Gaia from now on smile
This might sound a little weird too...
My nickname in school is Kirby ( i still dunno anybody here so you'll have to ask me personally about my real name) and i'm 19 years old. I'm from central Europe, Slovenia. Currently i'm visiting the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Media Comunication.
My figure is a little bit skinny so in my free time i do alot to care about my body. I like mountain climbing, it's the first kind of sport that i really stayed at and love doing it. I love photographing and computer editing (but i'm not that good though).
I hate arguing and talking in real life. I really love to listen to all kinds of people and therefore i'm very curious.
I mostly listen to everything but Rock and Metal are my fave.
Well i'm not going to spoil all the fun so if anyone's interested in talk...things will come depending on its time.

grayfriend I know what it's like to lose everything.
I don't know you, but I know I like you.
Here's some... stuff... about me:
-- I was born in Manhattan.
-- My birthday's July 26, 1989 [... so I'm currently 19 years old]
-- My father's a 68 year old very sucessful & "self-made" lawyer & businessman who lives in Washington DC two houses down from Paulson's [the current U.S. Secretary of Treasury... the Bailout Bill guy...]
-- My mother's an alcoholic.
-- In high school, I co-taught the English classes I was supposed to be taking.
-- I dropped out of high school a few weeks into my Senior year because I was a complete, disfunctional wreck because I was recovering from years of hard drug abuse. I got my G.E.D. approx. a year later, & that's more or less the extent of my schooling, even though I know I have the potential to be incredibly successful.
-- In April 2008 I was in an absolutely hideous car wreck; my friend Nicole died from it a few days afterwards in the hospital after the accident crushed her ribcage & caused her intense head trauma, particularly a horrible skull fracture. I went through the windshield the first or second time the car rolled going over 100 mph & hit the U.S.'s longest interstate from a really intense height. I had no broken bones or anything really expect a billion deep cuts from the windshield. After that, I was a "local celebrity" of sorts due to the sole fact that I was alive & everybody called me "Unbreakable".
-- I have what's called a "Trauma Tattoo" on my forehead from the car wreck mentioned above, which was caused by debris from the interstate getting inside of the really deep cuts I had from going through a windshield, so it was basically formed the way a tattoo is formed. I have bangs that mostly cover it, though. The only way I can ever get rid of it is by intense plastic surgery where they essentially peal off my forehead.
-- In about a year I'll receive an approx. $50,000 - $100,000 settlement [untaxed, of course] simply for being in & not dying in a car crash.
-- I'm an ex-heroin addict, an ex-meth addict, & working on being an ex-amphetamine addict.
-- I have a 6 month old puppy named Chloe.
-- I'm the captain of this guild.
