Rose peered at her sleeping mother, makng sure she hadn't woken her up with her absence. She smiled, but it was short lived, she loved her mother and it was a scary concept, trying to go off and find her brother. Her grey and black paws quickend their pace across the frosty grass, it broke and snapped under her delicate paws. The row of feathers that were on her head lay back. She got down to her belly as she approached the woods to slink under bushes and logs. She shook lightly in the cool air, her fur not quite built for the weather. Dead leaves, burs, and twigs stuck to her fur as she made her way through. Soon, the sun high in the clear sky she had to rest. The journey was alot for a puppy and so she snuggled herself inside the rotten remains of a log.

Giselle was taking a nap and had no idea that her daughter had wandered off in search of her brother. The sun was warming her light colored fur and she shifted in her sleep. It was getting a bit too hot now. Aeolus had sneaked away from his father and was searching for his beloved sister. He fluttered his wings as he sniffed the air. Rose's scent was no where around here. He moved from where he was going towards the woods. He sniffed around here and caught a faint scent. "Rose?" He called out, "Are you around here?"((Did you find Rose's cert and then her growing?))

Rose's head slowly came up, her ears pointed forward. She could have sworn she herd some one calling her name. She heard words, closer but still faint. She unfolded her stiff limbs from her body, painfull pops sounding in her shoulder. She was able to stand in her small log shelter before her leg gave way from numbness and she tumbled out of the log. "Umph!" She scrambled painfully to sit up, the way she'd fallen had knocked the wind from her for a moment and she forgot why she was even up, untill she heard her name again. "Aeolus?!" She called out breathlessly from her spot on the ground, she stood, slowly and walked forward a bit, she too, sniffed the air. "Is that you?" Wings pumped as the helix made his way to where he belived his son would have gone. He knew it had been heart breaking, taking his son from his sister, but it was just how things went. His paws touched the frozen grass as she sniffed the air around him lookingfor any familiar cent, with little luck.((No i didn't see them))

Aeolus' ears perked up when he heard someone calling his name faintly. "Rose?" He called out again moving towards where he had heard the voice. He sniffed the air and caught her scent. It was fresh which meant she was near! "Rose!" He yelled running towards where she is. He skidded to a stop when he saw her near a rotten log. "Rose! Sis!" He cried running up to her and nuzzling her, "I've missed my pink dear sister!"
Giselle woke up when a cool breeze ruffled her fur. She shivered for a moment before thinking of Rose. "Rose dear. We should move back towards our territory. It'll be warmer there and I still need to introduce you to Soyala." She said before noticing that her daughter was gone, "Rose?! Where are you?!" She leaped up frantically and looked around. Where had her precious daughter gone?
((I'll PM them to you))

Rose stood uppon seeing her brother, wiggling what was a poor excuse for a tail so energeticly her rump wiggled too. "Brother!" She was so happy she forgot she was even the least bit cold, as she nuzzled and licked her brother happily all the while whining with glee. "I'm so happy you're here!"
Greystoke had taken to walking with his nose to the ground when he smelled somthing familiar. So like his son but millions of times more feminine and not his daughter. He would remember that smell, how could he forget? Their daughter must be with her, and thus, Aeolus must be near. His pace quickened as he followed the cent, hoping it wasn't too old.

Aeolus' rump was wagging as he wagged his stump of a tail. "Oh I've missed you Sis!" He said licking her back, "I don't see why we can't be together." He stood back and looked at Rose before nuzzling her again. "How have you been? Have you been eating enough? Have any playmates?" He asked shifting his wings.
Giselle sniffed around for a minute before catching Rose's scent. She followed it towards the small woods. She sniffed again and caught whiff of a different scent. It was very familiar so familiar that she had to smile to herself as she thought of who it was. What was he doing here? Did this mean that Aeolus was near? She began following this scent, forgetting about her daughter.

Rose had snuggled up to her brother now for warmth. She wasn't made for this cold stuff. She had a pretty lightcolored one layer coat that was meant to keep her cool in the west. But no they were more northwest right now and so her poor noes, toes, tail, and ears felt frozen, along with the rest of her body. It hadn't been good to sleep in the log, not warm at all. "I've missed you alot too Aeolus!" She whined slightly at the mention of them not being able to live together. "I have been....missing you, but good. I've been eating just fine and...no I don't have any playmates." Honestly, with out her brother she had like no confidince to speak of around other helixes. She was like velcrow with their mother....un-peelable, cute, pink, shy velcrow. "Any you? How have you been? Are you eating well and do you have any one that you play with?"
Greystoke could hear delicate foot falls, foot falls he would sooner die than forget. He stopped where he figured she could hear him call out to her. "Giselle?" He sniffed the air and fear washed over him. Where were Aeolus and Rose? Had Rose slipped off some were too? Delicate as the flower she was named after, had Rose slipped into the cold to find Aeolus? Were both of their pups out in the vast forrest in this weather? It was highly concerning and his forhead creaced in wory.

Aeolus kept close to his sister feeling how much colder she is than him. He rubbed his head against her neck trying to warm her up. "I've been missing you too and I guess you can say that I've been good." He said frowning at her, "I'm glad you're eating fine but why don't you have any playmates? You need to play with someone....... or at least that's what Dad tells me." He shook his head slowly before laying his head on her back. "I've been eating alright. And I have no one to play with. I don't know any other pups in the East. Besides I don't really want to play unless it's with you."
Giselle's ears perked up when she heard that unforgettable voice calling her name. "Hello Greystroke." She said walking out from behind a tree to face him, "It has been a long time." She grinned at him before walking up to him. "How have you been? And where is Aeolus? I don't see him with you." She looked around hoping to see her son.

Rose sniffed, the cold air stinging her nose as she did. "I don't know any other pups either." The light pink pup looked at her paws and sighed. "Wouldn't it be just wonderfull if we could live together? But I don't think Momma wants to live in the east." She shook her fur slightly. "I can't wait untill we move to the warmer west. I don't like this whole north west thing. Its too chilly." She licked her brother's cheek and grinned.
"Am I correct to assume that both of our pups have run off from us? I know you, and I know Rose...Have our pups gone looking for eachother?" Greystoke was just asking himself questions now, except they were still outloud. Finally pulling himself togeter he asked, "Where were you and Rose last?"

Aeolus nodded before licking his sister and pawing her. "It would be great if we could all live together. I don't see why we can't. I mean sure Momma and Dad wouldn't want to leave their territories but we could all live in the Neutral one right?" He said looking at Rose. He frowned at what she said about moving further into the Western territory. He wouldn't be able to see her at all if they did move; she'd be too far away. "Well if it's too chilly for you here let's move to somewhere warmer for now. Okay?"
Giselle tilted her head at Greystroke confused for a moment. "Aeolus ran off too?" She asked before shaking her head, "Yes Rose probably ran off to find her brother." She sighed before pointing in the direction she had come from. "We were just out of the woods that way. I was following Rose's scent but then I caught yours."

Greystoke sighed slowly and closed his eyes, hoping that the pups found each other. He opened his red eyes to look back at Giselle. "Do you think you can pick up her trail again?"
Rose smiled. "We should go see Momma, So you can see her!" She was suddenly happy. She knew Momma missed him and so stood up. "We can follow my trail on the way there." Her tail wagged happily.

Giselle nodded. "Of course I can pick up her trail." She said with a huff. She felt insulted that he had to ask. "Shall we go?" She asked moving towards the way she had come from.
Aelous nodded. "Yeah lets go see her!" He said wagging his tail, "Let's follow your trail." He stood up and walked towards where her scent came from. "I bet mom will be surprised to see us together." He said grinning.

Greystoke said nothing, just followed Giselle. At the moment he was worried, though he felt bad for insulting her, he wasn't good with apologies. He would apologize though, she knew him, knew he would.
Rose walked with her brother along her trail she had made earlier that day. It had all been exciting and maybe, though it was more than a maybe, she would see her father too. She hadn't seen him in a while either and it would be nice to feel like a family again.

Giselle led the way to where she had left Rose's trail. Her tail swished in irritation which you'll usually never see her like. She paused sniffing the air. She caught her daughter's scent and jerked her head in that direction. "This way." She said curtly.
Aeolus rubbed against his sister and smiled at her. It would be so nice to see his mother and it was wonderful that he could see Rose. He looked over at Rose and tilted his head. "Wha'cha thinking about?"

"That we might get to be a whole family again, even if its for a little while." Rose smiled at her brother as they trotted. Since the wind was blowing in her direction it was easy as pie when she cought their mothers scent and it came with their fathers too! "Cmon! I smell them!" She started into a run to meet their parents.
Greystoke sighed and nudged Giselle lightly on her hip, hoping she would turn around and look at him.
