How NOT to Roleplay: Exhibit A
One-Eye: **lowers sword and laughs** I see u did me son's job in retrievin' that hatchling 4 me **raises sword** let me do u a favor and take if off ur hands
How NOT to Roleplay: Exhibit B
One-Eye lowered his sword. "I see you did me son's job in retrievin' that hatchling for me" He raises his sword. "Let me do you a favor and take it off ye hands"
How to Roleplay the Right Way: Exhibit A
One-Eye lowered his sword, his eyes gleaming with realization and an all consuming greed. His laugh died short as he coughed and spit into the ground. Look back up at the two children with a horrid grin he rasped,
"I see you did me son's job in retrievin' that hatchling for me."
He raised the old, but gleaming cutlass level with the girl's shoulder, pointing straight at the dragon.
"Let me do ye a favor an' take it off ye hands."
**Note: If your story interacts with another member's story, an example being mine and Suzume Inuzuka's, short posts that lack detail are sometimes in avoidable because of dialogue, action scenes and such. But still try to elaborate on your characters thought process in such instances for further character development.
