It took my fiance almost 2 years to get pregnant. I'm a little scared, and it doesn't feel real yet. I'm only just over 7 weeks now. I had to take 3 tests before I believed it, because 2 of them were too faint for me to be sure, but the digital one said 'Pregnant' right across the display. I got it confirmed at a walk-in clinic 2 days later. My first prenatal appointment is on Tuesday, and I'm a little nervous. I have to go by myself, and I'll probably be going to most of them alone, because my fiance can't take a lot of time off of work. We need all the money we can get to prepare for baby.
I didn't want anyone to know right away, except for the parents, but they spread the news like wildfire all over Facebook within 20 minutes or less, so now I'm sharing. I'm just hoping that it all goes well and I don't lose the baby. I want this baby so bad.
I think I've been pregnant a few times before but miscarried, but I didn't catch it in time. I always thought that it was just my period kicking in, because I have the most irregular cycle ever.
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.
