Can somebody tell me if my black egg is an alt? I think someone abandoned loads of alts and regulars. I always wanted a Black Alt!!!! _____________________________________________________ >>> <<<

Now that you mention it...
I've never knew if it worked for vine alts as well...
Best way to know is trying.

If you use Firefox, there is a tool called ColorZilla that defines colours used (you just have to find an alt vine/black and not the codes used on different part of the egg). The most foolproof thing is to verify the egg using this - but then again, you can not use it on the abandoned page because the eggs disappear too quickly.

Akiska Nandeenah It's not an alt. Save its image and open it in paint. Blue background: normal black egg Green beckground: alt black egg is there a similar trick for vines? eek My trick for alts is that the alt has a very nearly black shadow while regular vines have a green.

That trick doesn't help me since my compy monitor is going out and the vine eggs and black eggs don't show any shading. they just show up as a black egg shape.
