My computer just got reformatted so I lost all my art software among other things
Is any one aware of a good art software it that I can use that is free or you can find a free download of it

I need software which can do what I want it to
Examples of the type of coloring I want
. I need to be abele to put layers over or under other layers of the pictures

maby not as good coloring as the frist ones but some were were i can test out difrence stiles of coloring and find the one that works the best with me. so probly somewere in the mital woud be a good sofwere to begin with
And I some thing that is not too difficult to understand (I don’t mean as in paint simple I just want some thing I can under stand)
but i think some thing like this woud be ideal for what kinds of things i like to draw

I use photoshop, but it is fairly expensive. I have heard a lot of good things about OpenCanvas though, and I think it is free. smile

Gimp and OpenCanvas are good softwares.And you can download it for free

biggrin i use art weaver it is more geared to the home artist so its good to start off with if you have never done graphic art before and its free exclaim
