If i put a song on my iPod then delete it to save space on my drive, the song is deleted from the iPod when i sync them again. Is there a way to keep the song on the pod but not on my computer?

ive never dealt with having to sync my ipod but i did it on accident and it erased all my songs from my computer and my ipod but i think if its not in your library it wont play or show up on your ipod

There is a way to set your iPod into MANUAL. This allows you to freely add and delete music at your own discretion. I think you have to plug in your iPod and change that setting while on the computer.
