What do you think of Jetmai? I say they belong together I mean they are both silent and well pretty much both emo! They love sharp things to attack! Tell me what you think?

I do like Jetmai, but... Jet and Mai are far from the stereotype of emo. Mai is the apathetic girl who wants nothing more than to spend time with her boyfriend (Zuko) and maybe get a little excitement out of life. Jet is vengeful and has a lot of psychological issues (which, sadly, never really got dealt with in the series) and doesn't do so well at coping with loss. Emo is being overly emotional (which is actually the opposite of Mai) and dramatic, usually for no good reason other than attention (definitely not the case with Jet). At least, in stereotyping that's what it is.
Anyway. Sorry about that.
I like the idea of Jetmai because I think they could build off each other and have an interesting dynamic, and the irony of Jet dating someone from the Fire Nation is too hilariously awesome to pass up. More fic needs to made of this ship.
