Plot


We are the savors of man kind, the hope of all the world, finally together in one city. Ready to take down what ever threatens the lives of the innocent. Ready to sacrifice our own lives, for everything that we love. With each step deeper into the city our foes, grow and fester, like the wrote that they so stepped forth.

WE MUST STEP UP! BECAUSE THE VILLAINS ARE HERE! JUST AS READY TO DO ANYTHING TO STOP US!

Fight with me! Fight for justice, and peace. All that we hold close. It's time to defend our very souls from the torment of the world....


Welcome to the city, Let's say someone took every comic out there put them in a pot an melted them down into one awesome a** story. Each character has their own general area, while there is a cliche hideout for the hero's and the villains. They work together when they need to, interact, and hang out to help each other with their taxes. Major plot will be posted in Red above, Daily crime will be posted in the heading of threads, whoever get's there first get's more exp.


(please use an existing character, from any comic you wish. If you decide to make a new character they will need to go to the highschool,)

Profile Creation


Profile's are essential to helping us have amazing fights, and personalizing your very own super. The Majority of this format was created by Kenkaru, I do not take credit for all of this, so don't be mad.


User name: Your gaia username
Posting: how often do you post?

Character

Wiki/ information website: A website that gives us a whole bundle of links and pictures to really take in all that your character is and does.

Name: The real name of your super, if you don't know than simply right n/a
Alias: This is what every knows your character as, like batman.
Age: This is where you are allowed lots of freedom, hell you could make captain America 7, I don't think that would be too exiting though, keep it real.
Gender: if you're unsure put something appropriate
Powers:You may have to look up your super to see if they have any powers you didn't know about. a simple list will do fine.
Weaknesses:Everyone has one, n/a is not except able. It may be emotional of physical. These will be explained more later.

Appearance
( a picture would be awesome for all of us)
Hair: What your character's hair looks like
Eyes:what eye color
Physical description: Is your person, super small? super tall? Built like a runner, or built like a weight lifter. What color is their skin describe that here.
Clothing:in normal life, if they don't have a normal life, describe their costume.
Background:Have fun with this, it's simply your character's past. Please don't go into too much detail.
Personality: What is your super like? Are they happy, and pleasant? Or do they snap at anyone and everyone, while they are plotting to steal all the money in the world?
Other:Random stuff that you might find interesting, including habits and addictions.

Stats

Exp: This is your experience, any time you get in a fight or do some kind of training you must post in the experience thread to gain more points, once you reach the designated amount of points, you gain a level or something still in planning, and start again on your experience. See the little table in the Experience post.
Hp:This is how much health your character has, Your starting health is a variable that can be found lower on the page times your constitution mod. If you reach 0 you pass out, but if you reach -20 than you die. Watch out guys....
Ep:Ep is your Energy points, or how much endurance your character has. To find this look on the table below and times that number by your energy mod. Each fighting post is -1 on this stat. Same with health, when you get 0 ep you pass out -20 you die.
Mhp:Mental health points is basically your sanity, if someone is using an attack on your brain than it effects this stat, not your health! 0 you pass out -20 you die. This is multiplied by your wisdom mod.

Strength: Your raw power, how strong you are
Dexterity:Your agility and coordination
Constitution: How much beating you can endure
Intelligence: How smart you are
wisdom: Your six sense, or mind powers
Charisma: this is your social skill, or how sexy/cool you are
Energy: This is how long you can fight.

Dodge bonus: your dodge bonus is very important, you never roll anything for a dodge, if the attacker's roll is higher than your dodge bonus than you are hit. To find this 10+wisdom mod+dexterity mod. This is also explained in the Attack+ dodge post.


Attack Melee: Add this to each close range attack roll. Like a punch or kick. Find this by adding your age to your strength mod.
Attack Ranged:Obviously this is the same thing except for ranged attacks, add your dex mod to your age to find this.
Attack Will: This is what you use for mental attacks, or telekinesis.
Will powers/spells
In order to fill these in you must go to the approval forum and fill out the form for your spell or power. Once it is approved you may add it to your profile and are free to use it in the rp.

Damage: Dealing damage is figured out by using random numbers. To find your damage range, add you strength modifier to 1-6, (if my strength mod was 2, than my damage would be 3-8 ) And if I am successful in hitting my opponent (See attack+dodge) than I would roll a random number the lowest number being 3 and highest as 8. Let's say I rolled a six, than my opponent would have to -6 health.
(Going easy we all have moments where we don't want to kill someone, but we have to beat them up, in that case just set your minimum and maximum lower. This does not work in the opposite way! You can not "Go hard" and raise your damage! See the Killing post)


Equipment

Weapons razz retty self explanatory, You must get any weapons approved in the approval thread!
Money:Only the stuff you have on you.
Valuables: Anything that you character has that is deeply valuable to them. Please keep this to what they currently have on them.

The guide to Stats and Points

Base Points, Distribution Points, Modifiers
aka how to do all your stats


Base points are the point that you put on all of your stats just to start out with, like such:

Strength: 4
Dexterity:4
Constitution:4
Intelligence:4
Wisdom:4
Charisma:4
Energy:4

And than you look on the graph to see how much distribution points, if you have 20 than you have 20 points to put on any stats you wish. Hopefully on the stats that your super has that kind of ability. for an example let's do spider-man! (In truth he would be like 7 with the stat's im giving him but that doesn't matter ^_^)

Strength: 4 +4 (He is pretty strong not as much as super man though)
Dexterity:4 +4 (he is really agile so more dexterity)
Constitution:4 +3 (And he stopped a train! he has to have some awesome con!)
Intelligence:4 +4 (I'd give him lot's of intel, cause he's a brainiac)
Wisdom:4 +2 and all the rest go to his extra stuff)
Charisma:4 (No charisma for nerd boy! mad )
Energy:4 +3 Every body needs energy

All in all add up to 20 points.


Modifiers

Modifiers are just so that we can use low numbers when dealing with things, you find each mod. for each stat. by adding the base to the distribution points, and dividing them by two. If it's a half number than round down.

ex.
Strength: 4+4=8 mod=4
Dexterity:4+4=8 mod=4
Constitution:4+3=7 mod=3
Intelligence:4+4=8 mod=4
Wisdom:4+2=6 mod=3
Charisma:4+0=4 mod=2
Energy:4+3=7 mod=3

Ta da!!! Once you have done this and checked it countess times that you have not distributed too many points, you can find your health, and dodge, all that crazy stuff!

Attack and Defense


Attacking is easy once you get the hang of it. Between two people one will throw the first punch. That person will roll a d20 and than add their attack bonus based on whatever kind of attack it is. The person who is trying to dodge, simply has to hope the die will suck.

If the sum of the attacker's roll and attack bonus is higher than they get a successful hit on their opponent, and can roll a random number in their next post. Just in case you didn't get any of that I'll use the next few post as an example ^_^.

Jim has an attack bonus of 12 and a dodge of 9 his damage is 7-12.
while bill has an attack bonus of 16 and a dodge of 14 his damage is 9-14.

Jim was red with fury, he screamed and hurled himself out towards Bill. His fist aimed straight at bobs face! (Obviously a post would never be this short but i feel lazy god damn it!)

Bill slammed back against the wall. His nose snapped under Jim fist. Blood poured over his lips, and if he had wanted to could taste it seeping down his throat. But the pain had his attention, Bill screamed and grabbed his face. He flung his other hand out to claw at Jim eyes.

Unjust Killing


Ok guys, this goes for anyone and everyone even the heros who kill an innocent. Whenever you kill someone you must roll a d100 in your next post, if you roll below a 5 than you go to prison, and either escape, or make a new character. If you make the dc than you just lie low for a day, and resume your life.

After each kill your probability of getting caught goes up. 5 points each kill. Use this little table to help you out.

(The same system is set up when you are framed, even though you didn't do it, it doesn't mean they aren't going to try and catch you)

Injuries


Every time you get a serious injury, or a cut you need to go to the hospital. Either in costume or not. However in costume would get you a lot of attention.

If you are simply bruised in battle than you regain health by resting. Which is simply not doing anything in your post. Each resting post you regain +5 health.

While each post you have a serious injury(Basically any injury that opens your body where it's not supposed to be open) such as getting shot, stabbed, deep cuts, losing a limb, or empailed, you loose -20 health each post until you get to the hospital or are treated by someone who knows what they are doing. Some attacks have set specifications which you must fallow, like -50 until you get to the hospital.

Each glass of alcohol gives you -10 health. Which can be treated by resting.
