Jess walked along beside Kamira on the path that wound through the Forest section of the Botanical Gardens, the calm, quiet atmosphere relaxing.
"Isn't this relaxing, Kami?" she asked, grinning at her daughter.
"Mm-hm! It's so quiet here."

Ebony gently held onto Bailey's hand as the two of them walked through the gardens, staring up at everything in wonder. The child was mystified by the number of interesting plants and trees. They were all so big and pretty!
Up ahead, she spotted someone who almost perfectly fit into the scenery. A girl with pretty blue and yellow wings. How nice! So, being who and how she was, Ebony quietly walked over to tap Kami on the shoulder to tell her how nice she looked.
"Hello there." the purple girl greeted warmly when she'd caught up to them. At least she wasn't loudly squeeing across the room - she had respect for the calm of the place at least.

Kamira turned around when she heard the greeting, smiling.
"Hiya!" she said happily, her wing ear fluttering softly. This was a new person to meet! A new friend, maybe? She hoped so. Jess sat back and grinned, quietly watching her daughter interact with another spawn. This was good for Kamira, since she needed more friends.
A dragonfly darted across in front of Jess's face, startling her and causing her to recoil back, during which she tripped on a rock and fell.
"Gyah!"

Ebby leaned over and looked at Jess then. "Are you okay?" She'd been about to tell Hami that she liked her wings and that her ear-wing reminded her of a friend but now the girl was distracted.

Jess dusted herself off and got up, aided somewhat by Kamira's insistent tugging on her arm. "Yeah, I'm fine." she said with a sheepish grin. "Zoning out, not good." Kamira giggled at her mother's antics and plucked a pine needle out of her hair.

"hehehehe!" Ebby giggled at that. How silly of a Mommy! That seemed fun.
"You have really neat wings." the purple girl told Kamira, turning back to her with a grin, now that she knew the other woman was okay.

"Thanks! I like yours too, they're so pretty and white!" Kamira chirped, smiling. These two were getting along well, so it seemed to Jess. That was great! Kamira couldn't be happier when she made friends, and Jess loved to see Kamira happy. It was kind of her motherly instincts screaming at her to make her daughter happier than possible.

Ebony grinned and fluttered her wings at the compliment. "Thankies! I get them from my one DNA-Mommy. She's an angel. Are you part angel too?" the child asked, grinning happily. Yep, so easy to please.

"Mine's a DNA-daddy. I got my wing-ear, the feathers on my wings, and the feathery ear from him. I haven't met him yet, though...Mom says we're going to go meet him next." Kamira said, her tail swishing a bit. "Yep~ All the kids from wherever we came from are. At least, that's what Mom and Uncle Salazar say."

"Hehe. I wasn't sure if you were from there or not. Mommy says there are lotsa places to get kids on Gaia, but I was sure that's where you came from." the child said, bouncing on her toes. "What's your name? I'm Ebony."

"Yeah, my mom has a lot of friends with kids from other places. It's pretty cool, meeting everybody." Kamira said with a smile. "I'm Kamira. nice to meet you, Ebony~" Her tail swished in delight. A new friend! This was great!

"Yay, nice to meet you too!" the child clapped her hands a little as she spoke.
"So, do you like this place? It seems really nice to me. Very pretty. Trees and flowers are really really neat, though I wish I could climb the trees. I don't think that's allowed though."

"Mm-hm! I like it here a lot. It's so peaceful and nice!" Kamira said, twirling. Her kimono billowed out around her, and she laughed. it was so nice here, what with a new friend and the gorgeous....everything! She loved it here!

"I wish I could fly. Then I could see it aaaaaaaall from up high and look at all the pretty plants and trees and peoples!" the girl sighed wistfully, fluttering her wings.
