Asha wasn't one to go exploring alone, especially in an area that she didn't know well. Which was why she usually stuck around home or at least where she could smell the den from a little ways away.
However, for some reason, the wind today was teasing her away from her home. It kept being right next to her, telling her that home was this way, no go further that way!
It was an adventure, she supposed. Might as well grab the chance.
So she danced out a little farther every so often and waited for the wind to tell her where she was. Then she would keep going. Eventually she got so far past the stream that was near her den that she had no idea where she was.

Adejola sighed happily, inhaling all the exotic scents that the wind carried to him. He loved days like this. The sun shone brightly above, illuminating the plains that surrounded his home and lighting up the thin stream that zig-zagged across the land. It was beautiful.
But, he was soon bored with admiring the view and so he set out to find something to do. Surely there must be a game or something he could play by himself...
After a few minutes of hard thinking, Ade huffed, bored. Then he saw another pup and with a bounce in his steps and his tail wagging, he started over, calling happily to her. "Hey! Hey! Wanna play with me?"

Surprised, Asha could only stop in place and wait for the sounds and smells to come to her. It was..a male, about her age, one that was bounding towards her with excitement in his voice. She smiled and made sure her eyes were closed so she wouldn't frighten him.
"Hello!" she called out in return, not really sure how close he was. "Sure, I'll play. What do you wanna do?" They could probably play hide and seek, or tag, or even go swimming if they found a good place for it.
Asha always liked to play with new friends. She made friends easily, but the hard part was keeping them. And that included meeting them again. But for now, as a pup, it wasn't a necessity.

The pup was over joyed to learn that this new female did indeed want to play with him. He wagged his tail faster as he came to a stop just infront of her, looking like he was having a hard time staying still. "Um, we could play... Uh... Tag? Do you like tag?"

Asha giggled.
"We could play tag, but I'm afraid you'd win everytime. I can't see very well," she admitted with a smile. "I wouldn't be able to know where I was going, or know where you were going. I'd probably run into something."
Which would hurt, and she didn't really want to be limping home and have to answer a billion questions from her sister, brother, and parents.

"You....You can't see?" Ade asked in confusion as he tilted his head. He'd never met anyone like Asha who was disabled in some way. It was a bit startling to him in fact. The pup was used to everyone being equal in the world, not one who was blind or anything. "Well...What do you want to play then?"

The pup smiled, not hurt by the other pup's ignorance, and shook her head. "Nope, can't see a thing! I have a brother and sister that always lead me around when I'm with them, but since I like exploring on my own, too, it's an adventure." She left it at that.
"Well, we could play..." Asha thought and thought, scrunching up her face to think of a suitable game. "Hide and seek?" That was an easy-enough game. She could sniff out where he was, and then find a hiding spot for herself easily.

The pup happily wagged his tail at her suggestion but then frowned. "Uh.... Don't... Don't you need eyes to play hide and seek?" He asked softly, confusion mixed into his voice as he stared at the blind female. "I think it'd be real unfair if we played that." Ade's face was a mixture of confusion and determination. He didn't want this new aquantice of his to feel unequal in their game.

She giggled. "Nah. I have eyes! But I'd use my nose to find you. Though if you don't really want to play that, we don't have to." Asha nodded. Really, it would be unfair if they played, if only because Adejola may not have as strong a nose as she. After all, that's what she had to rely on, so it would be a bit strange to say the least.
But she wouldn't mind if he wanted to try something else. The little wild dog sniffed the air and tilted her ears back and forth. The sounds were growing quiet; it must be getting late.

(Oh wow, we really do need to finish this. xD -just realized we started it in Nov)
"No, no, if you say you can play hide n seek then we should definetely play! Hide n seek is my favorite game!" Adejola exclaimed, his tail waving fast enough that it was a blur. "Okay, I'll hide, and you gotta find me! Kay? Okay! Go!" He was all hyped up now, and before the blind female could say anything more, the pup had taken off into the bush. He'd find a spot that she'd never find him. The pup giggled as he crouched down right in the middle of a pile of dark, thick, smelly mud. With his feet buried in the muk, the pup began almost invisible against the brown gunk.

Before she could say anything, the male was off, romping around and trying to find a good hiding spot. Asha grinned and closed her eyes, putting her head to the ground.
"One...two....three..." she began to count, continuing on. Usually it was until 20 that gave them enough time to find a decent hiding spot. It sure would be interesting to see where Asha hid when it was her turn!
"...eighteen...nineteen...twenty!" she shouted, standing and sniffing around for the scent of the other wild dog.

Oh! She was coming! In anticipation, Ade squated down more in the mud, getting the smelly stuff all over his belly and legs. The stench of it was strong and overpowered almost everything around it, but Adejola just wrinkled his nose and tried to tolerate it. He'd win this game! Hopefully.

Well, this was trickier than she thought it was going to be. The little pup wrinkled up her nose and sniffed harder, moving around and following the scent from when he had been standing near her. And then it just...disappeared. This was so strange! There's no way someone could just vanish into thin air!
"I'm going to find you!" she called out anyway, continuing her search.

Adejola couldn't help a giggle as Asha wandered past his hiding place, be he soon silenced it. His ears flicked foward toward the female to see if she'd heard him. The pup's breath caught in his throat and he waited, silent and patient so see if he'd been discovered.

Wait, was that a sound? She paused and looked to the left and right, listening intently and sniffing frantically for any sign of Adejola. She could have sworn that she had heard something around this area, but then again...
Perhaps she was hearing things.
What she did hear, however, was her mother's howl, calling her back home. With a huff, she glared in the direction and whined instinctively. She didn't want to go home! They were in the middle of a game!
