Who ever said you couldn't love several people at once while being in love with on person is an idiot.

Who ever said life is stressful or that the little things matter more than the big doesn't know how to live life or how to truly be free.

Who ever said love was unattainable to the young does not believe in love nor Romeo and Juliet, "till death do us part".

Yet stories such as the tragedy of Shakespeare's eternal couple compares little to the romance of two lost souls, lost within each others loving gaze and torn by the love for each other and the one's they've chosen for eternity.

This is the story of Serenity's struggle to continue growing in love with her soul mate while struggling in and out of love filled relationships with the friends that come and go.

This is the story of one girl's journey down the road of
love...

ONE

The trees howled as the wind strummed their branches, pulling leaves off and sending them into the foggy night sky every which way. A few clouds shifted across a veil of stars, impatient with the slow rise of the moon.

Two figures, a man and a woman, sit silently alongside a lit fire side. His eyes look through her soul as if she'd committed a deadly sin; her eyes glared back, knowing she'd done nothing wrong to receive such accusations.

"I don't like him." His voice echoed through the room as the trees fell silent, the fire seemed to die down, and the space between the odd couple seemed to stretch apart more and more.

"But he didn't do anything wrong." The girl pointed out the obvious, her tone raised to defense her friend. Her boyfriend, or rather the strange man in his place, seemed far more distant than ever before as his head began to shake in disagreement. "What is it he did do that was so offensive?" Her eyes narrowed as the skies began to shower rain upon the earth, catching his gaze. As he watched, the rain begin to pelt the windows in frustration. With a sigh, his eyes closed before returning to her face.

"He smiled at you." His eyes broke down all her hopes as the memories of his lifeless voice sketched her heart with more unmendable scars. The girl took in his ridiculous reasoning before shaping her mouth into a silent 'so what?'. "I know how guys think, he likes you."

"Or he just missed me!" Her voice tried to fight back as she debated to leave or stay if this was how he was going to be for one moment of happiness between two friends. "We hadn't seen one another in years. What did you expect?" The trees whistled as if an audience applauding her reasoning. "A short and simple hello? It's not like I didn't tell you we were meeting up!" The rain died down in fear of her anger as the fireside crackled, a simple reaction to her emotions.

"Because I don't know him." He fought back, almost lifelessly.

"Then get to know him! And stop putting it off!" There was a sudden crack as the earth shook, announcing the fall of a decaying ever green, yet the angered couple hardly moved, their minds focused on the issue at hand.

"I don't want to! He is a complete loser like the rest of your friends! He'll only drag us down!" He fell silent in thought, putting his hand up before speaking again. "I don't want you hanging out with him till I've met him a few times." There was another pause as a strange fog circled the house. "In fact, don't even speak to him unless I'm present." As he finished, he stood, walking down the hall as the sounds of cougars forewarned of an unthinkable evil.

"Where are you going?" Her voice rose as she stood to follow him. Every floor board announced her footsteps as they scurried after him; though by the time his step fell silent she had been pulled into his room and slammed onto his bed as the door echoed an apology for its masters actions.

"How would you like it if he took advantage of you like this?" His voice was rough, shallow and cold as stone. Within seconds he had her pinned down, whispering into her ears, his breath hot and rotten in her face. "I'm going to rape you..." He chanted over and over, licking her skin as she twitched in horror, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Stop." Her voice came out as a squeak as he continued to violate her. "Jayden, stop!" His eyes seemed to glow red as his body lay closer onto hers, his full weight holding her down. "Get the hell off me." Her voice chanted through her teeth, hot tears streaming down her face till he'd pushed away from her fragile body.

"Learn how to take a joke." Jayden spoke coldly, his back to her as he settled into his computer chair. There was a loud surprised gasp from where she lay. Jayden turned to face her, leaning back in his chair as if the king of some evil kingdom. "Why do you always ruin the mood?" His voice was relaxed, as if he'd done nothing wrong.

"Unbelievable." She thought, standing quickly, swinging the door open and scurrying to the front door. Outside the wind slowed to an evergreen scented breeze as the rain calmed to a misty fog.

"Serenity!" Jayden yelled as the door slammed. Once she had made it to her car, Jayden could be heard stomping down the deck just as the car started, he appeared in the head lights. Serenity revved the engine as a lightning storm began, sending Jayden back to the house.

Half way home, Serenity's phone went off, caller ID read 'Jayden'. As she answered, sobbing out of fear, his voice spoke slowly, apologetically, and honestly.

"I'm sorry baby." Jayden whispered as the sound of video games echoed in the background. "Can you forgive me?" He asked, half heartedly.

"How can you act like nothing happened?" Serenity asked between sobs. "You act like that night didn't even exist!" There was silence on the other end for a moment as she and his video games paused. "We had just started dating when I stumbled to your house, beaten, bruised and rapped. Now you pull this s**t!" The video games began to echo on the other end again as she continued. "You were the first to know! I trusted you!" Her tears fell like hot salt springs, drenching her shirt, blinding her path as she drove.

"Please don't do this, come back here, I'm sorry, I love you." Jayden babbled on in one breath. "It won't happen again; come back, I'll help you feel better." He whispered, breaking down as his video games continued to echo in the background.

"I'm not coming back tonight. I need time." Serenity whipped her eyes as she came around a slick corner, barely missing a tree. Jayden hesitantly agreed before saying goodbye to allow her a safe ride home.

Minutes latter she was home, thankful the fifteen minute drive was over. One more incident like this and he was gone, she thought to herself, he shouldn't use sex as a way to help her cope with the pain.

That night, her phone rang hysterically. Worry drenched her body, sending sensations of water over her skin, mimicking the shower she just finished. As it rang one last time, she picked it up quickly without checking the caller ID.

"Hello!" She greeted, almost to excited, while drying her hair. The person on the other line laughed hysterically as she looked at the caller ID; it read 'Ender'.

"Hey there." Ender spoke up as she placed the reciever back on her ear. "How's the boy toy?" He asked as Serenity broke down. His voice chanted soft "sh-sh's" over and over, till she'd calmed down enough to talk. After Serenity explained the nights events, Ender sighed. "You know he's not healthy for you." There was no need for her to speak one of her many excuses for putting up with him. 'He loves me' or 'He's promising to change' echoed in both their minds as they refused to take in the truth of Jayden's evil ways.

"And we are?" Serenity asked, laughing a little at her innocent joke. "Just kidding of course." She whispered, awaiting his reply shyly.

"It's to bad your taken." Ender laughed, jokingly, but leaving a slightly serious tone in his voice. "Or there could be a chance." his voice was low for a moment as Serenity slipped into PJ pants and a skimpy top.

"A chance of what?" Serenity's voice whispered back as she lowered her MP3 almost to mute. The answer was obvious but complex.

"You know," Ender spoke up shyly, taking a moment to slyly add more hot water to his bath. "He has every reason to fear me, I could have you any chance I wish." If they hadn't been friends since birth, Serenity would have distanced him then and there. "But that would only push you deeper into an emotional hell." The water fell silent as it lapsed around his pale skin.

"Thank you, for respecting me, no matter how stupid I am." Serenity whispered, wrapping several blankets around her tiny frame. The floor began to shake as she peered into the living room of her trailer. "I gotta go, the old man is home." She spoke quickly. "Text me. I love you. Bye." Were her last words, laughter echoed on the other end as she hung up before she realized what she'd just said.

TWO

"It's final." Serenity's worn out father spoke sadly, turning to face her. Serenity couldn't help but look at him wide eyed as she forced a pout.

"I'm sorry dad, but it was best." It was difficult for her to keep a depressed look upon her face to support his feelings of loss after the divorce was finalized.

"Thats for the support Mimi." He whispered, trying to smile but finding it hard to do so. Serenity smiled back at the sound of her nick name, but to her father it appeared she was trying to comfort him. With a silent good night the screen to the master bedroom shut.

Minutes passed as Serenity tossed and turned, adrenaline pounding from the joy of living the rest of her life without her wench of a mother to ruin the precious moments. Though her mind refused to sleep, her body yawned a few times. Soon the music from her MP3 player lulled her to sleep.

The morning came like a cold expected snow on an almost hopeful Christmas morn. Serenity awoke to the sound of her father shaving on the other side of the thin cardboard wall.

"You up yet?" He asked from the tiny one person bathroom as the trailer shook slightly at Serenity's slightest movement.

"Yea dad." She moaned, trying to go back to bed, unable to accept another dreary summer day. Although the sun lingered on the trees, bouncing off wet greens into the trailer windows, she knew this only meant another hot, lonely day.

"That's a change." A chuckled came out as a snort, a sigh he was happy to have company before leaving for work. The bathroom door opened as Serenity drudged toward it in one stride.

"Yup." Came a short reply. "Couldn't sleep." Was all she could get out, unable to vent about Jayden after the events that took place in his life the day before. As her father turned to speak, she closed the door quickly, not wanting to hear about his feelings for her wench mother.

"So," A weak, shaky voice began from the other side of the door. "I could drop you off in town on my way out and pick you up on my way home, if you'd like that is." As he spoke, his voice rose and fell hopefully. As she opened the door slowly as not to hit him on the way out, he bribed her with spending money she couldn't resist.

After showering, Serenity received a text from an online writing buddy asking to meet up at a local wi-fi cafe, so into her book bag went her laptop. Hours passed as he didn't show, the lights changed and sirens screamed, the time ticked away as all fell silent.

"Ma'am?" A voice echoed in the back of her mind. "Excuse me." The same huskey voice echoed, only louder and a bit more anxious than before. Serenity looked up, alarmed, as another hand took hold of hers. She soon decided not to hit the person before her as she realized there was no one to be seen other than her and the male barista before her. "Do you need a ride home?" His voice was concerned and gentle as he placed her hand back on her laptop, allowing his fingers to linger a moment longer.

Just as she opened her mouth to accept his offer, the door opened with a freezing gush of air and a high pitched "beep-beep". They both looked over in disbelief that someone would interrupt such a moment.

"I'm sorry sir, we're closed." The man confessed guiltily.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Serenity's father grumbled, heart broken he couldn't get a cup of coffee. "I guess I came just in time to pick up my daughter then." He informed the man, hinting for me to pack my things.

"Oh well!" The barista scurried to the cash register. "If your the father of this lovely lady let me get you something, on the house!" My father winked at me and gave his order.

Seconds latter he was sipping a tasty mocha. As she began to follow him out of the cafe, the barista slipped his hand into her back pocket, sending butterflies throughout her body as her heart raced. Her eyes fumed as she looked over her shoulder at him in the corner of her eye. The door closed behind her as the winds picked up even harder. Once in the car, she felt something hard against her right buttock. As she removed it, a note was wrapped around a few sugar packets. Inside the note, it read:

"How bout a ride tomorrow after my shift?
RSVP #491.0214"

Serenity couldn't help but shake her head and stuff the paper into a book she had near her. Another cute boy, and yet another heart to be broken.

As her father asked generic questions she gave him generic answers about her day and the ones before hand. Her mind began to wander, thinking of Sam, the barista, as her father vented about his ex wife, a sign he was out of things to ask within his comfort zone.

For some reason Serenity's father's venting made the ride shorter. Once home, to their awesome trailer, she finally noticed his real attitude. Even for a bipolar he appeared almost to calm about the divorce, perfectly even between depressed and pissed off. Maybe it was that stupid b***h that caused him to blow his top every month or so.

"So breakfast sound good for dinner?" Serenity asked as the car door shut. A real smile formed on her dads face as a man's voice called his name.

"Jared!" The man called a few trailers down, he leaned out of his happily shaking a beer bottle around. "I recorded a football game for us to watch! I know you work late!" He offered.

Jared looked to his daughter for approval. Serenity smirked while gesturing for him to go have fun. "I'm not your mom or your wife, go have fun. I'm a responsible 'almost' adult." She reminded him as she walked to the trailer door and opened it with her key. "I'll have dinner ready when you get back." Serenity promised as she shut the door and locked it so he couldn't refuse to let loose for once.

"Unlock the door Serenity." Her father asked polietely, after a few knocks. "Or your grounded." His threat was weak and false.

"Because I want you to have fun?" Serenity asked as the door clicked unlocked, not wanting to test the odds he'd actually ground her.

Jared laughed as he opened the door to see her peering out curiously. "I have groceries in the car and need to change out of my work clothes. But since I'm going out to have fun, you get to bring the groceries in and put them away. Serenity poked her head forward, her brow furrowed as Jared smirked, an almost sad plea glowed within his eyes as her playful glare softened. After a short goodbye the car was emptied and the groceries were put away.

"I'm just turning on my playlist." Serenity promised her self as she sat down at her computer. Once the music had started an off tempo beeped twice from the speakers, a new IM ignoring her "Away" message flashed to life next to a few old ones as they lay stagnant next to it.

Her heart jumped twice as the name became highlighted. Ender. One jump as his name floated through her mind, and another as she felt a twist of guilt for thinking of a man other than Jayden in such a romantic way.

"Dinner can wait." Serenity smiled to herself as she read the IM he 'd sent her. Anxious fingers rested above the keyboard soon fell limp from surprise as she read a poem dedicated to her.

"Mimi's Song

Sing, sing, oh lady of myth -
To the ashen earth below
Bring your beauty and strife.

Dance, dance, woman of longing -
To a melody only dreamed
In tales and legend of lost time.

Strum, strum, mystical goddess -
On a harp so magical
So full of life!

Lyrics, lyrics, open this chest -
Show my Mimi
The memories we've sowed.

Oh Mimi, my Mimi, loveliest lady,
A song I sing for you
A song of silent solitude..."

"But my name isn't Mimi." Serenity typed quickly as a quick reply echoed back in response.

"It's your family's nick name, isn't it?" He asked. "This way you can have the lyrics to your song without Jayden getting all prissy about it."

Just then her phone rang. "Hold that thought, phone call." She typed before answering with a confused, "Hello?"

THREE

"Why so startled?" The voice asked harshly. "Cheating on me with Ender?" Serenity's jaw dropped in disgust at his rude sarcasm.

"Why call me if your going to be an a**?" Serenity's voice was cold and hurt. "How do I know your not with Kiva, or on her phone right now?" She accused him in return.

"It's called 'sarcasm', take a joke. Because I'm on my aunts phone." His voice had become accusing once more, trying to keep the finger pointed at her faults rather than his own.

"Then learn to use it right, cuz you aren't funny." She shot back, there was a moment of silence on the other end as Becka, Jayden's sister shouted something about being a slow 'tard.

"Sorry, just wanted to mess with your head." He spoke quickly before shouting at Becka to shut the hell up.

"Hence the reason don't want twins." Serenity murmured, thankful he hadn't heard her remark.

"Anyways, we're going to my aunts place in Washington for the Fourth. We'll be back at the end of the week." He paused for Serenity's reply only to hear silence as Serenity gawked at her computer screen in amusement. A long IM from Ender read out in front of her asking if he could join her and her father for the Fourth so he wouldn't have to spend it alone. "Serenity?" Jayden asked again, aggravated by her elongated silence.

"I'm listening." Serenity spoke up in the same aggravated tone. She couldn't help but rub her head as it bulged with frustration. Their conversations as of late had become quite aggressive and unpleasant, causing much stress and tension in the relationship. Her clock ticked 10PM above her computer as she sprang to her feet, trying to put something together for dinner as she had promised Jared.

"It sounds like your busy. I'll call you if I even have signal up there." Jayden scowled.

"But I wanna talk more now." Serenity begged, her eyes welling up with guilty tears, although she hated herself for wishing to talk when all he did was upset her to the point of depression.

"I have to finish packing anyways, I love you." His words were quick as her words, 'I love you', were whispered back, most likely unheard. The click of the receiver blended with the click of the trailer door.

"The toast is burning!" Jared shouted in a raised whisper, about ready to pounce on the toaster as he realized the tears welling up in her eyes, causing him to stop in his tracks. Serenity looked up at her father hesitantly, fully aware that he'd guessed she wasn't in the best mood. "I mean, I got pizza!" He smirked, holding out a half empty box. Serenity looked at him, confused, wondering if he was serious or if he really cared. "Twila told me your having relationship problems with Jayden." He confirmed, placing the pizza by Serenity's laptop. "I'm sorry for being so selfish." He apologized, hugging her. "Seems like we're both having a hard time." Serenity nodded in his arms as the song 'Daddy's Little Girl', by Frankie J, echoed softly from her online play-list.

After the pizza had vanished Serenity shut off her computer, forgetting her conversation with Ender, and began to wander the moonlit trailer park. Every star reminded her of Ender's eyes, every shadow his mythical presence, and the faded shine of the moon appeared as if his skin sown to the sky.

A sudden pulsating sensation upon her hip sent Serenity a few feet into the air, startled, only to realize it was her phone vibrating at the new call.

"Hello?" She called out, the phone pressed against her ear as she struggled to calm her heart. There was no reply as she realized there was no one on the other end. Pulling the phone in front of her face she read the text message on the screen.

"Mimi, oh Mimi, where aren't thou Mimi?" The text read.

Serenity couldn't help but smile as her face flushed. A cool breeze reminded her to start walking again. As she watched the path before her, deep in thought, something caught her attention. Looking at the trailer next to her, an old woman's frizzy hair covered a pair of bottle cap classes as poky eyes glared intently at her. Serenity froze, confused, then looked around to see if anyone was near.

"Let's see: a bush, a trailer, truck, trailer, dog kennel, trailer, bathrooms, me. Nothing to weird." She thought aloud, looking back at the old lady's home sweet home as a curtain flung shut. "He'll get a kick out of this." She whispered as she typed a quick reply.

"My dear Ender, don't you remember? You'll find me at our secret meeting place." Although it wasn't that secret, she giggled as she looked at the tiny pond lapsing at her feet, remembering days that only lived in her dreams.

"We have a secret meeting place?" He wondered.

"Of course! I'll show you on the Fourth." Her smile reached through the text as Ender lay in bed, a picture he'd printed off Serenity's myspace hung from his artsy fingers.

"How can I tell her what I'm thinking?" Ender asked the picture as he typed yet another text, not wanting to lose this chance into her heart. "Will Jayden be there?" His stale tone lingured to Serenity as if another scent from the pond itself. Serenity took in a deep breath the same time as Ender exhaled.

"No, he's out of town till the end of the week." Serenity explained, feeling relieved for the both of them. Butterflies began to awaken inside her stomach, escaping to her chest as she did a booty dance. Seconds latter her foot slipped into the pond. "Oh, no" She whispered as Ender recieved his text.

"YES!" Ender shouted, accidentally crumbling the picture in his fist. "So could I have a decent picture of you to keep in my wallet? I mean, you've been promising me." He edged.

"Of course, but HE'll be in it." Her warning made it quite clear of who 'he' was.

"I only have eyes for you my darling Mimi."

Serenity's face flushed yet again as she stood and made her way home, ignoring the crazy lady this time.

"I'm sorry my heart feels for him."

"And I'm sorry I stole your heart from him."

There was a good twenty minute pause as Serenity thought of how to reply. Instead of peering off into the lake, freezing her butt off, she decided to go back home and prepare for bed while deep in thought.

"I'm sorry, that remark was uncalled for." Her phone beeped at the new text.

"Don't think ill of my silence, I was showering." Serenity promised.

"But it's so late." Ender laughed to himself.

"And I don't wanna fall asleep in the shower tomorrow morning after being kept up all night." She joked.

"Then your leaving me for the night? But I'm not tired yet."

"Me either, but I'll be in town tomorrow, alone, at the cafe, with a stalker-ish cafe worker."

"I guess I'll have to be your knight in gothic armor." They both laughed. Sam would get a kick outta the fact that she was into punk / emo / goths rather than preppy / athletic / artsy guys.

"Ok, sounds good, Sir Knight, sleep tight."

After that things fell silent. Crickets chirped outside, animals scurried in the brush behind her room. As she slept, the sounds of night faded to those of a chirpy summer day, yet as she lay half awake, half asleep, a surreal dream fogged her mind.

"Only a person who risks is free." Ender's voice chanted in her mind as he pointed to a cage. Inside sat the silhoettes of Jayden and Serenity. "You'll understand one day." He spoke as his face began to fade, a hauntingly sad expression lay upon it.

"Finally up?" Jared asked between yawns as Serenity turned to her other side, trying to find out where Ender had gone.

"I guess." She groaned, realizing he'd only been a dream when she rolled out of bed. They prepared silently for the day before making the short trek into town.

FOUR

There wasn't much talk between Serenity and Jared but much seemed to be stirring in the slightly large and diverse, yet odd home like cafe hidden on a side street just off Main St. Like always, the father-daughter duo sat in their usual back corner, a chocolate mocha for Jared and a vanilla late for Serenity. They sipped their drinks on occasion, trying to ignore small talk, knowing it would end up no where yet some place they weren't quite ready to go.

"Why don't you job search? I could join you, work part time during the school year." Serenity suggested as her fathers brow furrowed.

"I couldn't take your money; besides, disability is about a thousand dollars a month, rent is only four hundred, gas is half that, food stamps covers the obvious. And, uh, honestly, I was only working to pass the time." He confessed with a half a** smirk, trying to hide the lie. In truth, neither Serenity or her father wanted to work but they both knew even a part time job would be healthy for both of them.

"But dad, that only leaves four hundred for car and medical insurance. Not to mention if either of us wants to go out thats another hundred dollars a month. What's that leave us with? Five dollars and fifty cents?" Serenity couldn't help but joke, at least it put a smile on her old mans face.

Serenity couldn't help but wink, knowing she was right. Jared smirked as he began to eye the other customers, those sitting and standing around. Most of the customers appeared to be regulars most of which were woman, fairly attractive woman at that. One happened to be looking at him only to look away as soon as their eyes met. Jared's reaction was the exact same, causing Serenity to look around for who ever had the same blush cheeks as her father. Her eyes narrowed as an evil grin grew as a thin line upon her lips.

"It appears my date has arrived!" Serenity lied, pretending to read a text message on her cell as she shoved her wallet, note pad and pen into her purse. "And I believe yours is just about to start." An almost silent giggle escaped her lips. As she stood, her father gave her a pleading glance as he realized Serenity drop a note on the womans laptop before escaping out the door, leaving him alone, dumb struck and fluttery.

"Whats the rush gorgeous?" Ender asked, leaning against the wall with a cigarette hanging from his lips. The smoke smelled of menthol and peppermint, as always.

"Gees you vampiric creeper!" Serenity joked before hitting his ribs with a girlish upper cut. "Aren't you supposed to be in a coffin or something?"

"Not without you there, but I'd have to bite you first." He joked back. "That reminds me, where's your metro-sexual stocker?" As he spoke, his face was pressed against the window as he searched for Sam.

"Oh don't bother, I told him I wanted to jump you like a spider monkey. I think he got the idea." Serenity's voice trailed off sarcastically as she searched his pockets for his cigarettes and lighter. As he turned to face her, Serenity's hands slid father into his front pant pockets causing his face to became quite entertained and curious.

"Can't find them?" He asked, holding both up in one hand. She smirked, quickly pulling her hands out of his pockets. "You don't want coffee first?" He asked quickly as she reached for the cigarettes.

"My dad's in there," Serenity grinned before leaning forward, one hand next to her mouth as if telling a secret. "He may get laid tonight."

"Lucky!" Ender shouted sarcastically. "But oh so nasty. To the park then?" He laughed, letting Serenity light her own cigarette as he lit himself another.

As they continued down the side walk his arm settled over her shoulder and hers around his waist. They walked silently down the street, happy to be together and alone, so to speak, for the first time in months. Cars road by, women with strollers passed and joggers dashed past in a quick hurry as they neared the park.

"Your jealous." Ender whispered, kissing the top of Serenity's head with an almost serious chuckle.

"Of what?" Serenity asked, slightly offended by his remark, not sure if he was joking.

"Of other peoples happiness and the illusion of their simple lives." He continued to draw her close to his side till they'd reached the park where he then pulled her to his chest. "I can see it in your eyes. Your soul beckons to me." His voice had raised only slightly as he pushed some hair behind her ears in order to see her face more clearly.

"Serenity!" A feminine voice shouted from the near by swing set. She could feel Ender's grip become rock solid as he pulled back, his arms now limp at his sides. "Ender!" The voice rejoiced as they turned to face Autumn, Serenity's best friend and one of Ender's most obvious admirers.

Baby bump and all, Autumn rushed over to them after jumping of the swing set, almost face planting before jumping onto Serenity. Ender watched in amusement as the girls wrestled on the ground for a while, Serenity struggling not to squish the baby bump and Autumn trying to tackle her in return.

"Before I'm to turned on to to just stand here, you may want to get up and give me a hug too." Ender joked as he winked to the girls who'd stopped rolling around to look up at him. Their hearts pounded in the back of their ears as they caught their breath. The girls giggled as Serenity got up before helping Autumn to her feet carefully.

"Troy!" Autumn shouted as a loud grunt echoed behind Ender. She nearly pushed Ender aside and jumped on Troy ecstatically.

"Oh now I really feel left out." Ender teased as Troy looked at him in wonder from over Autumns shoulder.

"And you are?" Troy asked, offering a hand to shake after Autumn let go of the choke hold around his muscular neck.

While shaking his hand in a polite manner, Ender stood as tall as he could, finding it difficult to tower over Troy. "I'm Ender, I know Autumn and Serenity from school." He assured Troy who's entire body seemed to relax as his arm wrapped behind Autumns round waist.

"I've heard a lot about you." A sly smile grew on Troy's lips. "You have a liking for our dear Serenity, whom hasn't hugged me yet." He switched his attention quickly from Ender to Serenity as she giggled before jumping into his huge arms. As soon as he lifted her off the ground in one of his famous bear hugs, her back popped in several places.

"You haven't done that to me in a while." Autumn pouted as Troy waved a finger in her face.

"I don't wanna pop the babies out." Troy winked before pulling her face to his and kissing her nose.

"Babies?" Ender and Serenity asked together, equally shocked at the news as their eyes shifted to her tummy.

"Oh! I thought I told you." Autumn spoke in a rather board tone. "A boy and a girl. Yippy." Serenity couldn't help but jump up and down, grabbing her friends hands in excitement and shouting like a child over and over. "Say that again please?" Autumn asked in a rather sarcastic but truly interested tone.

"I think she asked what their names are going to be." Ender chuckled. Serenity nodded, wide eyed, holding Autumns hands even tighter as she waited for the answer.

"Bella and Felipe." Autumn smirked, wondering what Serenity would calm down and let go of her hands. Suddenly a ping of nausea twisted in her belly. "Excuse me." Was all she could say before heaving toward the ground, a pile of colorful mush reeked at her feet. "I'm so sorry, did I get you?" She asked Serenity who shook her head violently while staggering back, almost falling into Ender's arms. "That's not embarrassing at all." She smirked as Troy helped her stand up right.

Nervous chuckles escaped all their lips as Troy excused Autumn and himself, knowing she would want to escape that embarrassing scene and clean up. After all the appropriate goodbyes, Serenity assuring Autumn it was fine and Ender finally getting a hug while holding his breath, Ender led Serenity into the forest in the center of the park. The stream seemed to flow fast and hard this time of year, creating a nice back ground noise for the two.

"Summer never talks talking about you." Serenity whispered after a few moments of silently gazing into the creek, wondering when Ender would stop looking at her as if she were his world.

"Does that bother you?" He asked politely, honestly curious. Her lips did not move, but the look in Serenity's eyes as she looked up at him spoke volumes. "I may have been her first love, but you are mine."

Their bodies trembled as a sudden wind brought in a gust of gray clouds, the air slowly filled with a watery mist that was neither fog nor rain.

"Cold?" Ender whispered, awaiting her reply.

"Yes." Serenity whispered, hesitantly stepping toward him, hoping he'd grab her and do something romantic. Their eyes met, his perfect gray-blue gaze looked deep into her moss green daze.

"Hold that thought." Ender smirked gently pushing her a few inches back before removing his sweater and draping it around her shoulders. His skin rippled under a black wife beater as his arms pulled her close. They were warm and toned just enough to make her blush. "Better?" A slight nudge of her chin answered as a 'yes'. "You have no reason to worry about other girls. Summer was a season thats come and gone." Seconds latter he'd pulled her chin up, breathing deeply onto her face and neck. "You are my winter goddess. A perfect snow angel, a unique snow flake only to stick when it so choses." He tried to assure her in the most romantic way.

"You'd rather an Ice Queen than a summer sprite?" Serenity questioned, intrigued by his poetic reassurance.

"Yes." Ender's lips hardly moved as he pulled her face up to his. "Ice Queens aren't afraid to show every aspect of who they are. Summer Sprites run after seducing their prey."

"And I don't...?" Serenity asked sarcastically, leaning toward him.

"Nope..."

As he spoke their lips met and the world stopped. Trees seemed to create a canopy above them, the grass scented an earthy wind and leaves cascaded around them as their kiss continued for what seemed hours. A loud gush of wind blew them closer together in furry as their perfectly joined lips parted.

"Please don't be upset with me. You are simply irresistible." Ender begged, his eyes truly apologetic.

"I didn't stop you did I?" Serenity whispered after a rather deep sigh.

"No you did not..." Ender smirked as he held his breath, pulling her face back up to his, this time their lips met with passion and furry as if to silence the wind. He slowly pulled her away as she teetered for a second.

"Wow..." Serenity whispered, blinking. "I need to catch my breath." Her cheeks were deeply flushed as her heart beat faster than it had in months.

"My bad." Ender teased.

I have almost all together put a hold on this story because it is to closely inter linked with my high school life. I do not wish to continue on with this story till I can find a way to write this story w/o making it seem to real for those who I still talk to after our high school years.

After re-reading the chapters I've posted here, Ive decided to pick up this story and rather than continue the path I was originally gunna go, I will continue down a path that anyone but myself MIGHT see the story going. And dont worry, the story will be just as 'vivviding' as before lol.

I like this, its a very strong story. It catches my attention. I wish I had the ability to write with details as deep as yours but my areas, tend to be dialog and action.
