Alright, Grandmaster Quest.
The length is very, very long, so it's longer then any other quest released, apparently. The requirements are also to have 270 Quest Points, which right now, that is the combined total of every quest in the game.
Rewards: Ability to wear Dragon Platebody and Dragon Claws.
This was proven false, as you don't need to complete the quest to use either item.

a little more info. according to forums the dplate is in 3 pieces obtained from a monster and in order to fix the plate this time you need 99 smithing. so i know we wont be seeing plates for a while since most 99 smithers dont have quest capes and most questers dont have 99 smithing. and we still aren't sure if your allowed to use assist to make the plate.

If you use the guide the quest isn't that long sweatdrop
I'm not doing it yet since I still have to do Summer's End but after that it shouldn't take long. Friend's almost done with the quest and he did all that in the time it took me to do Spirit of Summer =P
Best do it now while ... Well, you'll find out why :]

a forgotten death eater a little more info. according to forums the dplate is in 3 pieces obtained from a monster and in order to fix the plate this time you need 99 smithing. so i know we wont be seeing plates for a while since most 99 smithers dont have quest capes and most questers dont have 99 smithing. and we still aren't sure if your allowed to use assist to make the plate. ..yeah but what about dragon claws? They are never sold in the Grand Exchange i've never seen anyone with them, and my lvl 110 friend said that you get them as a drop from "runite dragons". Alot of people would of beaten them easily, since the corporeal beast is "the hardest NPC in the game" so... woulnt there be alot more d claws than 7 sets? (a friend said he saw 7, there might be more)

My best guess on D Claws is a drop from the Tormented Beast, since it also is supposed to drop Dragon Armor Shards.

The Dragon Claws have a pretty sexy special ;O
I'm killing a lot of Tormented (However right now I'm killing thousands of Lessers for a damn champion scroll to unlock all my songs) and it's not working neutral Friend got a split, another got two drops, another got a drop as well. Someone got 3 drops in 100 kills, I'm up to 50, got nothing crying
Oh well, that's my luck =P

I think it's great they finally released it, but it is not even that great it is maybe 15+ stats over rune plate, and has no str bonus.
I think I would rather have a bandos Chestplate. I give it 6 months and Dragon Claws will be the New dds, well maybe for those who have done the quest. I have 30 quest to do in the next 15 days.
Alot of them are Master Level Quest. So I have my work cut out for me.

Making Dragon items is beyond our current possible smithing abilities, the most we can do is repair damaged ones. (Dragon sq and Plate)
So yeah, to me it makes sense. :]
