No I don't like Macs, but this was too much fun to pass up (I have a bizarre love for archaic and pointless computer technology, IE obscure game systems or in this case, a free 7-year old Mac). Formerly perfect condition (Sat in it's box for 5 years, and used as a door stop during that time), then I broke the spring mechanism in the power switch, and the ugly thing on the side that's used for running a cable through so you can lock it to a wall; yeah, I hit it with a hammer and now there's a curved stretch mark. I am a ******** moron sometimes. Thank ******** God I got it for free or I'd seriously kill myself about now.

Sounds delightful. Lemme get a keyboard and mouse set for it first. And then reconfigure the s**t out of the computer, clear out all the previous owner's bullshit, and get things set up to as comfortable as I can be using a Mac.

I'll squeal if they have Oregon Trail or Math Munchers on this thing.

Bought a keyboard and mouse for it today. Now the real testing begins!

Edit: I can't hit the switch and then place the panel over it cuz all the cords run through the panel and I'd rather NOT lay the thing on it's chassis

Edit: Knowledge Munchers Deluxe Edition... close enough! biggrin

Edit Edit: D:< It needs the disc to play! Otherwise there isn't s**t on this computer! Also it uses all sortsa Windows products. There are no Mac products on my Mac, besides Quicktime, but I grew up in a time when that wasn't always true so I ignore that. Hell even the internet browser is IE for Mac.

Edit Edit Edit: WAIT! I HAVE WARCRAFT 2 DIABLO! THOSE WILL WORK ON MY MAC! YES! Also this computer hasn't had its clock set since 2005

Final Edit: Actually I don't ******** know what I'm even gonna use this thing for. Nice to finally have one of the only two Macs to ever impress me (for their looks only, God knows I hate every Mac OS ever, though 9.2 is more familiar from the good old days of some years older versions back in elementry school and less idiotic than OS X), but I don't even know what I'm gonna even use this thing for xd

I tried moving the iMac over to where my cable plug is, the small fold out table magically falls apart and collapses. In the process the USB ports were twisted and mangled, and to further add salt to my wounds, the keyboard and mouse I spent $20 on had the prongs in their cables yanked out and jammed in the computer. HO HO HO HO HO! GOD IS A ******** COMEDIAN! THOU SHALT NOT STEAL OR I'LL PUT SAVING STARVING CHILDREN IN THE STREETS ON HOLD JUST TO <******** YOU OVER EVERY WAY I MISERABLY CAN! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHAT A ******** RIOT! LIFE IS ******** GRAND!
