Name : Michelle Violet Walsh Gender : Female Age : Sixteen Year : Fifth House : Hufflepuff
Ethnicity : Welsh, English and French ancestry Hair/Eye Color : long, wild curly blonde and wide, grey-blue eyes
[looks like: Taylor Swift]
Michelle is tall and slender, 5’8” and 125 lbs. She has a graceful, willowy figure and doesn’t mind the fact that she’s tall. She was always clumsy when she wore heels anyway, and since she shot up over the summer, she’s very glad of a reason to dispose of them. Her thick, naturally blonde hair falls to her waist and is her favorite physical feature about herself. It’s quite a hassle to do anything with it, so most of the time Michelle leaves it down, falling over her shoulders. It’s very soft and extremely curly, wildly so, and tends to have a mind of its own at times. She keeps it parted on the right side of her head, almost extremely so, so that it tends to fall across into her eyes. Michelle’s eyes are a wide, innocent-looking shade of grey-blue, and almost always done with mascara and a smudge of eyeliner at the corners. Her eyebrows, matching the darker shade of the rest of her hair, arch over them perfectly.
Her limbs may be long, but the extremities are smaller than one might expect – in a cute way. She likes to paint her nails, not always according to her wardrobe, so that she feels different from everyone else in a small way. Michelle wears two sterling silver rings; one on her left index finger that says “true love waits”, and another on her right pinkie featuring a tiny heart of cubic zirconium. She also has her ears pierced once, and her favorite earrings are a set of sapphires from her birth month. She also wants to get a toe ring eventually, and her ears pierced a second time.
Michelle loves to wear dresses and skirts, but nothing especially tight. She’s a bit modest when it comes to fashion. If she ever wears pants, they’re very baggy; Michelle prefers comfort over appearance. She especially loves to wear lounge or sweatpants when she’s not planning on going out anywhere special, because of how comfortable they are. The same idea pertains to shirts – anything flannel and snuggly is high on the list of must-wears for Michelle. If she wants to dress up, she puts on one of her favorite skirts – she has a lot – and a clingy top. Michelle is super-glad she grew so tall, because she always hated wearing high heels – they hurt too much for her to want to put up with wearing them all the time. She mostly sticks to sneakers (Converse is a favorite) or ballet flats, of which she has about ten different pairs in all different colors.
Pet : Romeo, grey tabby kitten Home Life : Father: Matthew Walsh [43] Mother: Candace Walsh [41] Siblings: Victoria Walsh [13]
Michelle gets along well with her family, but really prefers to spend her time at home with her cream Pomeranian puppy, Kenzie, since she can only take Romeo to Hogwarts with her. Matthew and Candace are very accepting of the fact that their eldest daughter is magical, and Michelle loves them even more for that -- she knows a lot of people who aren't so lucky. She and Victoria are slightly distant for siblings; this is mostly due to the fact that they are polar opposites. While Michelle is optimistic and dreamy, Victoria is harsh and cynical about the world, and love in particular. Their personalities don't exactly mix.
Diving deeper : Strengths: [x] history [x] reading [x] competitive [x] flying [x] imaginations [x] experimental [x] animals
Weaknesses: [x] daydreaming [x] boys [x] reading (I counted it as both because she loves it so much) [x] homework [x] large dogs [x] shy [x] over-analyzes
Traits [x] loyalty [x] kind [x] caring [x] cheerful [x] daydreamer [x] romantic [x] understanding
Michelle is very easily described as a dreamer. No matter what she’s doing, her imagination sooner or later takes her away from the task at hand. She can be doing homework, writing an essay on unicorns for example, and about halfway through, her words start to drift off the page slightly so that she has to go back and finish the essay later. She could even be sitting in class, or at dinner, or walking around Hogsmeade. It’s bad, and she acknowledges that, but she in no way is going to stop voluntarily. Michelle loves to imagine “what-if” situations, especially the kind where she winds up either dating an amazing boy or married to one. She’s a hopeless romantic and doesn’t care what anyone says; she believes she has a soulmate out there somewhere and knows deep in her heart that she’ll find him eventually.
Her personality is one of warm kindness and being eternally cheerful. Michelle never seems to go anywhere without a smile on her face. She’s somewhere between shy and outgoing, not completely closed off nor obnoxiously happy. Michelle is very much an optimist and more often than not sees every day as a bright new world in itself. She does have a bad day (or week) every once in awhile, but so does everyone. She does her best to keep her friends upbeat when school and family and boy issues are bringing them down. Michelle hasn’t really gone through a lot of boy issues yet, but she feels experienced in the area because her friends always confide in her about the things they deal with.
She has a special gift when it comes to animals and anything dealing with historical facts.
Taking a closer look : Shite. Michelle rushed from the dormitory, struggling to keep all of her books together so they wouldn’t fall. That would just be great. She would wind up even more late for class than she already was. She hoped thinking about it for a moment as she had wouldn’t automatically jinx her into stumbling before she got to class. Michelle was in a slightly worse mood than normal, and not even especially because she was late for class. If she had her way, Michelle would have slept through all her classes, just so that dream wouldn’t have to end so abruptly. It had been a very good dream; another one of her incredibly accurate (or so she hoped) fantasies of falling in love. Even as she scurried down the corridor, her gold ballet flats making a light slapping sound against the cold stone floor, Michelle wondered what it must be like to truly be in love. It was nothing new for her to imagine – she pondered the subject with practically every waking moment.

You have been Accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
While you described her looks with careful detail, the family section is lacking greatly. Which is what makes me hesitant to accept your profile, but Michelle seems like a fun character, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Just make sure you begin better developing her family history during your roleplay, because that can tell a lot about a person. So without further ado, welcome to Hogwarts and I do hope you enjoy it here!
